The two of them had killed all five enemy heroes, but the allies didnât stop there. They decimated the undead minions. The enemy heroes had divided into two groups, which had been the cause of their downfall. Thanks to their enemiesâ mistake, Sarang and Junhyuk were able to kill all of them.
The allies had attacked first, which had helped them. Junhyukâs Spatial Slash could be fatal, and the damagers and vanguards couldnât withstand a critical hit from it.
Junhyuk and Sarang picked up the items dropped by the enemies and occupied the buff tower. While spending time in the buff tower, Junhyuk turned to his minions. They were different from previous minions. They had risked their lives for him.
âWhy did you save me?â he asked them.
A male minions stepped forward and said, âWe know that we need the heroes if we are to return safely.â
Junhyuk agreed with them. Without the heroes, the minions would be annihilated. The enemy heroes had died, and Junhyuk and Sarang had killed all four hundred undead minions. Only the enemy champion had survived.
He stared at them and said, âThere are 115 of you still alive.â Once he heard the announcement for triggering the buff, Junhyuk got up and told them, âFollow me, and Iâll try to keep you that way.â
The male minion spoke up again and asked, âDoes that mean not everyone will survive?â
Junhyuk nodded heavily and said, âThatâs right, but Iâll do my best to keep you alive.â
He remembered the minions risking their lives to save him. It was quid pro quo, and it was his turn to act, so he decided to keep the minions back as much as possible. He would take the frontlines before them.
Junhyuk connected to Gongon and Layla at the same time.
âHow did you take the buff tower?â
âDid you kill all five?â
Both asked quickly, and he replied, âI was lucky.â
âWhat do we do now?â
âDestroy your towers and push for the second. If the enemies show up in my path again, Iâll let you both know.â
âAre you staying there?â
âIâll go kill a buff monster and come back to the buff tower.â
âOK,â they said.
Once he disconnected, he turned to Sarang and said, âStay here and look out for any enemies. Iâll go hunt a buff monster and be back soon.â
âDonât you want me to come with you?â
âWhile we can both get buffed, the important thing is to know our enemiesâ movements.â
After some thought, she said, âSure, Iâll stay.â
Sarang didnât care about the buff monster. However, killing a buff monster wasnât exactly easy. Junhyuk turned to the minions and said, âStay here and wait for me.â
âYes, sir.â
It would be easier to take the buff with the minions, but Junhyuk wanted to spare their lives. Thatâs why he decided to go alone. After bidding Sarang goodbye, he moved out to find the buff monster.
Junhyuk was headed to where the Wolf Warlord stayed.
The Wolf Warlord was surrounded by wolves. Junhyuk inhaled deeply. The memory of the first time he met a wolf crossed his mind. Back then, a single wolf had been deadly. Now, he didnât mind that the Wolf Warlord was surrounded by them.
Junhyuk ran forward swinging his sword. Akshaâs Longsword stretched out and scattered the wolves. He was rushing straight for the Wolf Warlord. The Wolf Warlord howled loudly and rushed toward him.
The Wolf Warlord was also restrained in the Dimensional Battlefield. While it was slowed, Junhyukâs own items still worked in the battlefield, so the Wolf Warlord ended up being an easier opponent there than on Earth. Junhyuk accelerated, enabling him to read all of the Wolf Warlordâs movements.
It only took him five attacks to kill the Wolf Warlord. Scavenging the body, Junhyuk found bloodstones. After that, he quickly returned to Sarang.
She was looking out at the path ahead. Even though Junhyuk had taken a significant amount of time hunting and killing the Wolf Warlord, she remained on watch. Junhyuk was curious about that.
âThe enemy?â
âThey didnât come this way.â
âDid you contact the others?â
âI told them to be careful.â
Junhyuk connected to Gongon and Layla. They answered him excitedly.
âDonât worry. Iâve heard,â Gongon said.
He had asked about things on their end.
âAre you retreating?â
âNo, weâre about to attack the second tower. After that, weâll head to Bebe.â
Gongon wasnât alone. Elise was with him.
Junhyuk turned to Layla and asked, âHowâs it going?â
âWe killed a buff monster, so weâre heading middle.â
âYouâre coming here?!â
âI thought we werenât supposed to go middle,â Gongon said.
âThatâs right.â
âLetâs take the middle path. If two can kill all of them, four will be enough for a slaughter.â
âSo, youâre giving up on the right?â
âWeâll push middle.â
Junhyuk agreed with Laylaâs idea. If they pushed from the middle path, they would control the shortest path to the enemy castle and win, so he told them to come. Taking the second watchtower would give them the quickest and easiest win.
âOK. Letâs meet at the second watchtower.â
Junhyuk and Sarang could kill the heroes, but the other allies would have some difficulty pulling it off. They had managed it because of their items and powers.
Layla could kill enemy heroes, but she couldnât do what Sarang could do. She had a combo attack, but not an area attack. Rodrey was focusing on buffing his attacks, but he couldnât kill enemy heroes with a single strike yet.
Realizing that the allied groups might be decimated on their own, he told them to head middle.
Junhyuk also decided to go destroy the second watchtower with just his own group. They were buffed now, so they could move quickly.
He took the minions and Sarang to attack the second watchtower. Junhyuk took the lead and blocked the archersâ arrows aimed at the minions. The archersâ werenât buffed, so he used his body in the fight and attacked the tower.
After destroying the tower, Sarang healed him. Once he had recovered all of his health, he looked at a group approaching him. Layla and Rodrey were coming with 180 minions.
âWere they here?â
Junhyuk had destroyed the second watchtower, but he didnât know where the enemy heroes were, so he shrugged and asked, âWhat do we do? Advance?â
They could advance and destroy the castle. With the four of them there, it would be enough.
Suddenly, and before Layla had a chance to answer, Gongon contacted them.
âHey! Go to Bebeâs right now!â
âArenât you there already?â Junhyuk asked, curious about Gongonâs weird behavior.
Gongon clenched his jaw and said, âNo. All five enemy heroes are there, in front of the portal.â
Junhyuk frowned and asked, âElise?â
âDead.â
Junhyuk sighed and said, âTell her to stay in the castle. You take a hundred minions with you and go occupy the buff tower. Weâll head over to Bebeâs.â
âSure.â
Junhyuk told the others about Gongonâs situation, and Layla smirked, âGood. Now we can kill them all and pick up the items to sell to Bebe right there.â
Rodrey nodded.
âI brought some things from my dimension that I want to sell to buy something new.â
âWhat do you have?â
âLegendary items from home. I found a few interesting ones.â
Heroes could find items anywhere.
Junhyuk stretched lightly and said, âTime to avenge Elise.â
The enemies couldnât have a lot of minions with them. They had already lost four hundred.
As the group moved toward Bebeâs, they knew that the enemies might have moved on. However, the possibility of them camping by the portal was still high.
As he approached, Junhyuk used his spatial sense. He could sense them.
Gongonâs group was decimated, but for that to happen, Gongon might have been surprise-attacked. The allied towers werenât under attack, so the enemies seemed to be waiting in ambush.
Junhyuk walked faster, and the group sped up. He looked intently at the reed field. His spatial sense did not seem to work on it, and that shocked him. Junhyuk had been able to sense people in the reed field before, but now, something was interfering with it.
âSomethingâs up.â
He was thinking that if the Dimensional Battlefield had changed, the managers should have let him know. He stopped his groupâs advance.
âThe enemies may be hiding in the forest or in the reed field. I canât sense them,â he said.
Layla shrugged and said, âSomethingâs weird. Sarang.â
âYes, big sis?â
âCast something over there.â
âSure!â
While the group moved, Sarang shot arrows at different places. Every area of the reed field was attacked by her. She shot quickly, and the group moved ahead without slowing down.
Sarang was in a protected position within the group. If she had been ahead, the enemies mightâve ambushed the group and focused their attacks on her.
The group approached Bebeâs store quickly. There wasnât a lot of the reed field left in front of them. Because Sarang was scanning the environment with her magic and coming up empty, Junhyuk thought the enemies might have decided to go destroy one of the allied towers.
She shot an electric arrow at the last path of reed, and the group crossed it.
âWhat do we do? Should we go in the portal?â
Junhyuk had business with Bebe. He wanted to sell the Red Dragon Armor.
Sarang nodded and said, âLetâs do it. I earned quite a bit from the gamble. I want some new items.â
Junhyuk turned to her chuckling and saw Epilen appear behind her. âDodge!â he shouted instinctively.
