Olivia knew he wasnât due back until tomorrow or possibly the day after.
The thought made her sigh quietly.
Just then, Sharon approached with a glass of wine in hand.
Her tolerance for alcohol had increased, thanks to her years of working with Raphael.
She felt let down by him, but her true resentment was directed not at him but at Olivia and Raphaelâs fiancee.
With a sardonic smile, Sharon offered, âOlivia, letâs toast to the jerk who dumped us!â
Olivia frowned, pitying Sharon.
Despite being married, Sharon was clearly still hung up on Raphael.
Worse, Raphaelâs fiancee was right there!
Fueled by alcohol, Sharon challenged her, âYou donât dare to drink with me? Donât worry, Olivia.
Raphael will drink for you even if you donât!â
The crowd murmured at Sharonâs remark.
âThatâs enough, Sharon.
Youâre drunk,â Olivia responded coolly.
âIâm not drunk! Iâm completely sober! I just want to see if Raphael still has feelings for you.
Because I canât believe he would completely sever ties with you to marry someone else! Iâm doing you a favor, Olivia!â Sharon exclaimed.
Olivia was convinced that Sharon had lost all reason.
Suddenly, someone took the glass from her hand.
Then, she heard a familiar voice, âIâll drink this for her.
â
Stunned, Olivia turned to see who it was It was Dylan.
Why was he here already? Hadnât he said he wouldnât return until tomorrow or the day after?
Olivia remained in a state of confusion.
Dylan held her hand.
In the roomâs soft light, he looked really good.
Lots of girls were stealing glances at him.
Even Sharon was taken aback.
She hadnât expected that Dylan and Olivia were still together.
She had assumed Dylan had dumped Olivia.
Everyone was shocked, and Dylan took a sip from Oliviaâs glass of wine.
After setting down the glass, he spoke to Olivia in a soft, tender voice.
âI just landed and called your mom.
She mentioned you were here, so I came by.
Iâve missed you, Olivia.
