Chapter 1019 Arissa, Edwin, and the kids arrived at the hospital and immediately rushed to Darius' ward.
Benjamin checked the time and waited for their arrival at the door as he had a feeling they would be there sometime soon.
Arissa was pleasantly surprised to see Benjamin waiting for their arrival at the door when the elevator doors opened.
âWere you waiting for us?â
âMr. Graham!â
âDaddy!â
The kids yelled in delight and ran over when they saw Benjamin.
Taken by surprise, Benjamin received the kids with open arms. âYes,â he replied Arissa.
Arissa smiled and followed Edwin out of the elevator.
âMr. Graham,â Edwin greeted Benjamin and offered to help Arissa bring the food to the ward. âGive me the food, Mrs. Graham. I'll bring it over.â
âNo need, Edwin. I can do it myself.â
Arissa rejected his offer and held on to the food.
âDaddy, has Grandpa woken up yet?â Gavin asked anxiously.
Benjamin patted his head and said in a low voice, âNot yet.â
The kids sighed and followed Edwin into the ward to check on Darius.
Benjamin reached for Arissa's hand. Smiling, she extended it to him.
They entered Darius' ward hand in hand. âThe kids said you prepared lunch. Have you eaten?â
âNot yet. I brought them over the moment I was done. I did get the kids to drink a bowl of soup in case they get hungry.â
Arissa noticed that Benjamin looked tired. âGo get some rest after lunch. I will keep Dad company.â
Benjamin chuckled. âThe kids said the same thing, but I'm not tired.â
Benjamin tightened his grip to prove that he was still full of energy.
âYou're not tired, but your body still needs to rest.â
The kids were leaning against the bed staring at Darius when the couple entered the ward. They kept quiet since Darius had yet to wake up.
Edwin placed Darius' portion of the food aside.
He then turned to Benjamin and asked, âMr. Graham, will you be having your lunch here or outside?â
âWhere are you guys eating?â Benjamin asked Arissa.
Arissa looked him in the eye and smiled. âYou guys can eat here. I'll eat with Grandaunt.â
âLet's all go together. Dad hasn't woken up yet anyway,â Benjamin decided.
Edwin smiled. âMr. Graham, you go ahead with Mrs. Graham. I'll stay here to keep an eye on Old Mr. Graham.â
Benjamin nodded and called for the kids. âLet's have lunch with your great-grandaunt.â
âOkay.â The kids turned around to check on Darius several times on their way out as they were reluctant to leave.
Arissa smiled. âWe'll come back here to check on Grandpa after lunch.â
âOkay!â The kids nodded and walked over to Benjamin's side.
Arissa had prepared lunch for Edwin as well. âYou should eat too, Edwin. We'll head over to Grandaunt's ward first.â
âDon't worry, Mrs. Graham. You guys should go,â Edwin answered with a smile.
âBye.â
Benjamin reached out to help Arissa carry the food and walked out of the ward.
Arissa's heart skipped a beat as she stared at Benjamin's broad shoulders.
âLet me help you with some of that. It's quite heavy.â

Arissa chuckled and said nothing.
The kids ran in front of them. It didn't take long for them to reach Mary's ward as the two rooms were close by.
âGreat-grandaunt, we're here! Did we keep you waiting for long?â
âAre you hungry, Great-grandaunt?â
Mary was elated to see their arrival.
âI ate some finger food just now, so I'm fine.â
Benjamin placed the food on the table while Arissa went to help get Mary down from the bed.
âGrandaunt, let's have lunch there.â
âOkay.â Mary nodded and joined them for lunch.
