Chapter 383 Will Not Tell Mommy Our Secret Zachary shot a look of disdain at Jasper. âYouâre so chubby!â
Jasper was left speechless while Arissa burst out laughing.
Actually, Jasper was not that chubby. His cheeks were slightly rounder, so he looked fatter than his brothers.
Jesse was the one who was actually chubby.
âIâm chubby!â Jesse patted her stomach.
âSweethearts, do you want to go downstairs or play upstairs?â asked Arissa.
âWeâll go wherever you go, Mommy!â The five of them surrounded her.
As Arissa gazed at their adorable faces, her heart melted.
She pulled all of them into her arms and pecked them on their cheeks.
âThen, why donât you go downstairs to cook with me?â
âArenât you feeling unwell, Mommy? Just let Mr. Whitley cook instead!â
Gavin stared at her worriedly.
âYeah! If youâre feeling uncomfortable, donât work so much! Rest more.â
Zachary refused to let her cook too. The other three opposed as well.
Arissa was touched. âIâve already recovered, so I can cook!â
The five of them stared at her fixedly. Amused, she reassured them, âIâve really recovered!â
âMommy, are you hiding something from us?â asked Zachary all of a sudden, catching Arissa off guard.
âWhat?â She stared at the five children in confusion.
Meeting her gaze, the five of them asked simultaneously, âYouâve gotta answer that! What did you talk to Mr. Graham about in the study room?â
Arissa was stunned, not expecting them to be so observant.
âI was discussing some matters with him, but that concerns the adults! Itâs better if you kids donât know about it.â
Since Arissa had not found the other child, she did not want to tell them and make them worry as well.
When she had gone back to look for Gavin, she did not tell the kids either.
The five children sighed. âSince youâre unwilling to tell me your secret, we wonât tell you anything when we have secrets!â
They snuck a glance at her as they tried to provoke her on purpose.
Arissa was amused by their actions. âIâll tell you after a while, okay?â She stroked their heads before turning around and heading downstairs.
The kids followed her down.
âWhat are you planning to cook, Mommy?â asked Jesse hungrily as she grabbed Arissaâs finger.
Arissa looked down at her daughter and asked with a smile, âWhat do you want to eat?â
Jesseâs eyes crinkled into crescents as she smiled and told Arissa what she wanted to eat.
Her brothers did the same too.
When Arissa noticed that Gavin was still silent, she laughed and asked, âWhat do you want to eat, Gavin?â
âIâll eat whatever my brothers want to eat!â He was a very thoughtful boy.
Stroking his head, Arissa insisted, âNo! You need to tell me something that you like to eat!â
After thinking about it, Gavin said, âI want to eat some prawns, Mommy!â
âSure! Iâll see if we have the ingredients first. If not, Iâll go out and buy them,â said Arissa as she walked toward the kitchen.
âAre we going to the supermarket, Mommy?â
Jasper, who loved to eat, immediately became excited.
Arissa glanced at him in amusement. âWho said that Iâm going to the supermarket?â
The More the Merrier ï¤Chapter 382 EX-husband Groveling to Me ï¤Chapter 730 Let Victor Shoot For You Jasper stuck out his tongue and mumbled, âArenât you going to the supermarket if you run out of ingredients?â
âYeah, but Iâm not going personally. I can ask Edwin to go!â said Arissa teasingly.
Gavin chuckled.
âItâs okay! We can buy them with the butler,â said Zachary with an excited grin.
Oliver nodded and chimed in, âWeâll buy the ingredients and Mommy will cook!â
âWe can buy so much yummy food at the supermarket!â
Jesseâs mind was already filled with the delicious snacks in the supermarket.
Looking at how eager the kids were, even Arissa felt like going to the supermarket.
She went to look at the fridge while the kids followed her.
Soon, she turned around. Still smiling, she revealed some bad news to them, âSweetheart, all the ingredients we need are in the fridge! You wonât be able to go to the supermarket anymore.â
The kids were stunned.
