Ethen and Bradley went over and helped the children get onto their seats. Then, he went to wash his hands.

Benjamin led Arissa to the table and pulled out the chair for her.

âI want to sit with Mommy!â
Jesse quickly booked the seat next to Arissa. She had barely sat down when she noticed Tim.
âTim, why donât you sit with Mommy?â
Tim shook his head. âNo, itâs alright!â
Jesse laughed joyfully. âTim, you sit next to me, then!â
Tim looked at Jesse. âIâll sit here!â
âCome over here, Tim!â
Jasper offered his seat to Tim so that the latter could sit with Jesse and their mommy.

âDo you mean that I was not like one previously?â he snorted.
Shaun laughed. âYou were not so caring. Isnât that so, Gavin?â
Gavin looked up at Benjamin and nodded.

Arissa looked at him and agreed with Shaun. âPreviously, you were nothing close to being fatherly!â

Arissa shifted her eyes from him onto the children.
When the soup arrived, Ethen and Bradley helped to serve the younger children.
