Chapter 547 Benjamin Accompanies Arissa To The Tailor Benjamin stared at her with a frown. âWhere is it? Iâll get my men to pick them up.â
Stumped, Arissa pointed to a spot that was just ten meters away.
âThere. Iâll go get it myself. You should just wait here.â
Not wanting to dwell on the matter further, she hurried over at once.
Timâs clothes were ready to be picked up. After conducting a quick check, she paid for them and returned to Benjamin.
Throughout the entire episode, Benjaminâs gaze never left her at all.
When Arissa walked up to him and saw that his brows were still furrowed, she teased, âMr. Graham, do you want me to keep a distance from you?â
As Benjaminâs expression darkened, he held her hand before walking back out.
Arissa giggled under her breath.
âIf his clothes donât fit, you should just buy new ones. Whatâs the point of altering them?â
Looking at the grouchy expression on Benjaminâs face, Arissa replied with a smile, âTim likes these clothes. Hence, altering them will make them fit better.â
She had initially planned to keep the clothes till he was older. Nevertheless, she was worried that Tim would wear them on his own accord, together with his shoes.
Benjamin cocked a brow. âYou have a pretty good eye when it comes to choosing childrenâs clothing.â
The children like them a lot.
Arissa grinned. âWell, kids always like clothes that make them look cool.â
Narrowing his gaze, Benjamin gave her the side-eye.
âIn that case, why donât you buy something cool for Jesse? Why does she have to wear pink prints?â
His sudden admonishment aggrieved Arissa.
Despite her urge to explain, she swallowed her words in the face of Benjaminâs intimidating look and decided not to tell him.
âMy sweetheart can wear whatever she wants. If you donât like it, you can always look away!â
âWhat a witty remark!â Benjamin snapped.
Zipping her mouth, Arissa followed Benjamin back to their car.
âYou should get in. I want to walk back and buy some food along the way.â
Benjamin protested, âBut itâs still some distance away!â
Arissa scanned the surroundings. âIâll go buy something to eat.â
Nevertheless, Benjamin pulled her back into the car. âWhatever you feel like eating, Iâll get Ethen to buy them.â
After being forced into the car, Arissa explained, âItâs not me. I just want to buy some for the children.â
Benjamin scrutinized the shops outside. âThey are not clean!â
Arissa was speechless.
Huh, I shouldnât have told him.
Subsequently, their car drove back to the hospital without stopping for Arissa to buy any food. When they arrived, they returned to Maryâs ward.
Watching Arissa strut off, Benjamin frowned.
Is she angry because I didnât allow her to buy food earlier?
He gestured for Ethen to come over.
âGo out and buy some local snacks.â
âRight away!â
Ethen hurried off to do as he was told.
When Arissa entered the ward, she beamed when saw the six children telling Mary stories while sitting around the latterâs bed.

âIâm fine. I was just listening to their stories. Issa, why were you out for so long?â Mary expressed her concern with a narrowed gaze.
âI was out shopping for some clothes. Come, Mdm. Mary, why donât you try them on.â
After putting down the shopping bags, Arissa took out Maryâs clothes to measure against the latterâs body.
âYou bought clothes for me? You shouldnât have.â
Mary was surprised by the gesture.
âDonât worry about it. Since youâll be staying in the hospital for a while, it would be better to have more clothes that you change into,â Arissa reassured Mary.
âThereâs no such concern as Iâm wearing the hospital gown all the time.â Mary was deeply touched.
âItâs all right. You can wear them once youâre discharged.â
After Arissa measured the clothes against Maryâs body and was satisfied with the fit, she put them back in the bag.
âMommy, you bought a lot of clothes!â
When Jesse peeked into the bag, her eyes lit up.
Arissa glanced at her. âThese are for Tim. I didnât get anything for you, and will do so next time.â
âOkay.â
Filled with delight, Jesse gestured to Tim. âTim, come quickly. Mommy bought you a lot of clothes. Look, thereâs even a pair of shoes!â
