Chapter 607 You Are Not My Father It was Regan!
When Arissa saw who it was, hatred colored her surprised expression.
She forcefully flung his hand away and shouted, âDonât touch me!â
He was taken aback by the disdain on her face.
When he thought about how she returned to the country and insulted his other family members, rage burned bright in his heart. âWhatâs this attitude youâre giving me, huh?â
She stared at his furious expression coldly. There werenât any emotions passing through her heart because she already steeled herself. I thought he would at least show that he missed me, but I guess not.
âWhat kind of attitude do you want me to give you then?â she asked mockingly.
Regan became even more furious as steam was practically rushing out of his nose.
âYou brat!â he roared. âTell me, how long have you been back?â
Arissa raised her chin and stared at him coldly instead of answering the question.
After all, it had nothing to do with him how long she had returned.
âIâm willing to overlook that youâre not going home, but you even get someone to beat up your grandma and cousin! When did you become so cruel?â
Her expression turned even colder as she faced his questioning. âThe moment you sold me five years ago, youâre no longer my father. Why would I care about your family? They were the ones who came to pick a fight with me. Do you think Iâll let you all bully me like before?â
His expression darkened in the face of her mockery. âI didnât sell you. I found you a good man to marry. Itâs fine if you canât see what Iâm trying to do for you, but now youâre hating me for it?â
He was losing his ground as he had been exposed.
âHa! A good man, you say? Heâs old enough to be your dad! Youâre truly shameless, Regan York. Do you think I canât sue you for selling your daughter?â Her lips curved upward coldly.
Regan was so livid that his face was turning completely black. âThis is outrageous! You want to sue me?â
He was about to slap her when his arm was stopped by another personâs hand.
When his gaze shifted to his side and he saw an insidious look, he became scared.
Benjamin wanted to help her initially, but since she seemed to have the situation under control, he simply stood at the side and observed. He didnât expect Regan to raise his hand on Arissa.
Thus, he interfered. Otherwise, his woman would be getting a slap in front of him.
The children in the car didnât know who Regan was. However, when they saw their mother arguing with him, they became worried, even more so when Regan attempted to hit her.
Just as they were about to exit the car in a rage, they saw Benjamin make his move, and they decided to stay.
Jasper asked, âWhoâs that bad guy?â
Zachary narrowed his eyes and glanced between Arissa and Regan. He had no idea.
Oliver gritted his teeth. âHow can a man hit someone willy-nilly? Heâs such a low-life! Mommy hasnât even made a move!â
Jesse suggested. âLetâs go down and teach that guy a lesson, Gavin! How dare he bullied Mommy!â
Gavin raised his hand. âLetâs wait and see first. Daddy is there! We probably wonât be able to help them anyway. In fact, we may even cause more trouble and make Mommy worry about us!â
Tim found that line of reasoning logical. âWeâll wait and see first.â
At that moment, Reganâs intimidation waned significantly. âWho are you?â
Benjamin grinned coldly. It gave Regan goosebumps.
âYou donât deserve to know who I am!â
Reganâs face had turned as dark as ink. He wanted to argue back, but he shook in his boots when he saw Benjaminâs chilling glare.
Unlike Finley and the others, Regan had some common sense. His gut was telling him that whoever he was talking to wasnât someone he could afford to offend.
The More the Merrier ï¤Chapter 606 EX-husband Groveling to Me ï¤Chapter 730 Let Victor Shoot For You Still, he argued, âIn any case, youâre just an outsider, regardless of who you are! You donât have the right to interfere in me teaching my daughter!â
âIndeed, I donât have the right. However...â
