Chapter 1771 You Are Mine
âMaddox, youâre mine from today onward.â Anna arched an eyebrow at Vinson. âYou have to do
whatever I tell you to do. No rejections are allowed.â
The man scrunched his brows as he averted his deep gazes toward her. âMs. Anna, thank you for
saving me from those peopleâs clutches. But I canât be your slave forever. I have a family. I need to go
home and protect them,â he expressed unhurriedly.
Hearing that, a scowl appeared on Annaâs face. Since birth, no one had ever dared to rebut her words.
âYou will never be able to leave this place. How are you still going to protect your family?â Anna coldly
scoffed.
Vinson glued his sharp eyes on her. What does she mean by that? When he first saw her, he thought
Anna exuded an exceptional temperament. That was why he decided to make use of her to get
Lorraine and himself out of the slave market. Unexpectedly, she was not the kind of person he thought
she was.
âWhat do you mean?â Vinson solemnly questioned. âOn this island, no one can leave without my dadâs
commands,â Anna uttered. âYou better dismiss the idea of getting out of this place.â
Vinson threw her a puzzled look. Why canât anyone leave without her fatherâs commands? What kind of
place is this?
âLook, Ms. Anna. If youâre willing to let me go, Iâll try my best to satisfy whatever request you have,â
Vinson said as he looked at her.
All he wanted was to leave as soon as possible so that he could go and look for Arielle. Being clueless
about Arielleâs predicament had undoubtedly rendered him extremely worried and concerned.
âLet you go?â Anna broke into a frosty laugh. âWhy should I let you go?â
Heâs the man I have my eyes on! How can I just let him leave? This is the first time Iâm interested in a
man. I will never let him run away from me!
âItâs not that I disagree with you leaving. But even if I agree, my dad wonât allow you.â
The truth was, no one had ever been able to exit after setting foot on the island.
Annaâs words made Vinsonâs heart sink to rock bottom.
âWhat place is this? Why canât I leave?â Vinson narrowed his eyes. âI know nothing about this place.
Why canât you guys let me get out of here?â
âNo means no. Thereâs no need for any explanation.â Anna pouted as she walked up to the man. With
a brow raised, she continued, âAs long as you stay here and be my man, Iâll make sure you can spend
the rest of your life in luxury.â
Indeed. That was what she wantedâfor the man before her eyes to become hers.
It was beyond Vinsonâs imagination that Anna would have such intentions. Gosh. If I knew she had
such plans, I wouldnât have allowed her to fork out money to buy Lorraine and me from the slave
market.
âIâm sorry, Ms. Anna. Iâm married and have a woman I dearly love.â Vinsonâs eyes dimmed as he
clarified, attempting to talk her into agreeing to his departure.
At the knowledge that he was already married to the woman he loved, Anna felt a bolt of rage.
Nonetheless, she did not allow her emotions to show on her face.
âSo what if youâre married? So what if you already have a woman you love? Now that youâre here,
everyone will think that youâre dead. Iâm not bothered about that as long as youâre willing to become
mine from now on.â Anna snorted.
âMs. Anna, Iâll never betray my wife,â Vinson replied icily.
The edges of Annaâs lips curled into a mocking smirk. No man can escape my charms. Iâll make sure
he climbs onto my bed voluntarily. Tonight, I will turn him into mine!
