After the register marriage, Vivek, Gayathri, and Vaiga set off to Kochi. Gopi Anna, Vivek's loyal servant, waited for them at the house, his face beaming with a warm smile.
As they entered the house, Gopi Anna greeted them with a traditional Kerala welcome, offering them a tray of flowers and sweets. Gopi Anna showed Gayathri around the house, finally leading her to Vivek's room. But Gayathri hesitated, looking at Vivek with a hint of discomfort.
"I need a separate room," she said, her voice firm but polite. "I don't want to share a room with you."
Vivek looked taken aback, but he quickly composed himself. "Of course, Gayathri," he said. "There's another room available. I'll show it to you."
Vivek led Gayathri to a cozy room with a beautiful view of the city. Gayathri nodded, seeming to approve of the room.
"I'll leave you to settle in," Vivek said. "I have to go to the office. Gopi Anna will take care of you and Vaiga."
With that, Vivek left for his office, leaving Gayathri and Vaiga to settle into their new home.
Gayathri spent the morning unpacking and settling into her new room. After lunch, she decided to go to her old house to collect some important luggage for her and Vaiga.
As she walked into her old house, Gayathri felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her. She had lived in this house for so many years, and now she was starting a new chapter of her life with Vivek.
Gayathri quickly collected the luggage she needed and left the house, closing the door behind her. She knew she would never forget this house, but she was ready to start her new life with Vivek and Vaiga.
Back at Vivek's house, Gayathri set about organizing her new room. As she was unpacking, she noticed that there was no study table for Vaiga. She decided to wait for Vivek to come home so that they could arrange to get Vaiga's table from her old house.
But as the evening wore on, there was no sign of Vivek. Gayathri asked Gopi Anna if he had heard from Vivek, and Gopi Anna informed her that Vivek had called to say that he had some urgent work and wouldn't be able to come home that night.
Gayathri and Vaiga went to sleep, the silence of the night a stark contrast to the turmoil of emotions that Gayathri was feeling.
