As Asha sat in her office like every other night, her focus completely divided between a certain blonde ,that would never leave her thoughts, and her paperwork, a guard had notified her that she had a visitor, a certain Alexandra. At the mention of her name, Asha froze but a smile broke out onto her features once she realized that the blonde had come to see her.
She instructed the guard to bring her up to the office and went about clearing the desk from the mess she'd caused while reviewing the week's business. in a flash of an eye her desk was cleared and she slumped back in her chair, what made Alex come to see her she wondered. The knock o her door broke her out of her thoughts as she straightened her clothes and stood up from her chair. She walked to the front of her desk and leaned against it
"come in" Asha spoke forcing her voice to sound confident and in control while her insides fluttered in chaos at the thought of seeing and holding Alex.
the door creaked open and in walked the blonde that's captivated her thoughts since Asha first laid eyes on her. Alex wore loose grey and black sweatpants with matching Nike high tops, a black and white OTEP tank top underneath a grey and black Bring Me The Horizon zipped sweatshirt and a black AC/DC beanie. Asha smiled to herself, she never thought of Alex as the rocker type of girl but there she was sporting band merch and all.
"hello Alex" the redhead spoke with a smile "what brings you back?" she added and pointed towards one of the leather chairs by the massive window as she settled herself in the other.
Alex stood there admiring Asha in all her glory, the wild mane of fiery red hair that cascaded around her perfect porcelain shoulders ending slightly under her chest, the black studded leather corset that hugged every one of the redhead's curves from her full chest to her narrow waist and down to the hem of her leather pants that showed off her legs as if they went on for miles. Alex noticed the five inch high heeled booths that Asha wore, it only added to her dark and mysterious allure as well as her height, easily topping six foot tall.
Alex rubbed her neck looking down at the carpeted floor of the office " I kinda...don't really know" he began to say and glanced up at Asha before making her way over to the chair beside her.
"I was kinda out for a walk and I spaced out,, next thing I know, I'm standing across the street from the club and wanted to see if you were here" Alex rambled on but froze, her cheeks turning a bright shade of red at what she just told Asha.
Asha chuckled lightly "well I'm glad you decided to stop by to see me" she began her tone light and cheerful but it soon darkened slightly as she continued to speak "last time you were in quite a hurry to leave" she added with a sigh before shaking the memory away.
Her cheerful attitude soon returned and a smile graced her lips "would you like something to drink? Tea, coffee, soda, whiskey, anything?" Asha offered walking towards the wall opposite to her desk looking back at Alex.
the blonde smiled slightly "coffee please, black if you have any" she replied leaning back into the comfy leather chair.
Asha returned minutes later with two steaming cups of black coffee, handing one to Alex and reclining back in the chair with her own. The atmosphere in the office wasn't exactly tense but it was suffocating nonetheless. The awkward silence weighed heavily on them as they both sipped on the coffee without uttering a single word.
Alex was staring down into her now empty mug when Asha spoke up "I never thought you were the kind of girl to listen to rock" she chuckled lightly "clearly I was wrong, Otep, AC/DC, bring me the horizon" she motioned towards Alex's outfit
Alex laughed and set her mug down "it's an acquired taste, my dad used to love rock and metal so I kinda took after him and my brother used to lean towards my mother's taste in music, reggae and stuff" a sad look crossed Alex's face and Asha had caught on immediately as a tear slid down Alex's cheek, she placed her hand on top of Alexandra's that was settled on her lap and squeezed gently "they would be proud of you Alex, you're a great young woman" Asha found herself standing up and pulled Alex to stand with her, hugging her tightly while little sobs shook the blonde's body. Salty tears ran down Asha's bare shoulder but she could care less at the moment, all that she cared about was making Alexandra feel better
"I'm really sorry for your loss Alex but they're in a much better place right now don't you think?" she added and felt the blond nod her head slightly against Asha's shoulder.
The redhead pulled away slightly looking intently at Alex, she raised her thumb and caught a tear about to streak further down the blonde's face and wiped it away.
"shh" Asha cooed wiping some more tears away, her kryptonite green orbs meeting Alex's arctic ones in an electrifying gaze. It was as if they were frozen beyond time and space getting lost in the restless ocean of emotion flaring in the other's eyes. Slowly their lips inched closer, every second feeling like a decade to the pair of them, it felt like an eternity had passed when their lips meshed together. Slowly at first, their kiss began in a passionate yet delicate pace, pouring every ounce of emotion the never knew resided within them into the kiss. But as seconds turned to minutes the kiss grew even more passionate and overwhelming,, going from soft and subtle to heated and desperate. The fervor radiating off of them as intense as the flames of hell.
They were both lost in the turmoil of sensation that neither realized that someone had opened the door and stepped inside of the office. Asha and Alex were so engrossed in the kiss until someone had cleared their throat. The redhead and the blonde broke apart immediately, Asha's head snapping towards the sound with a murderous glare for whoever dared interrupt.
there, leaning against the mahogany doorframe stood Mikael with an amused smirk playing on his lips as he watched the flushed blonde turn a brighter shade of red and Asha wield a very annoyed expression on her face.
"hello Asha, miss me?" he asked teasingly trying to aggravate his friend even more
"no I haven't, what do you want Mikael?" he asked through gritted teeth
"oh nothing much, just wanted to say hi and tell you that your team is back and they need to speak with you, they said it was urgent" his smirk widened as he caught sight of the blonde fiddling with her leather bracelet
"um..i should probably just....go" Alexandra stuttered as she glanced once at Asha who seemed rather disappointed, Alex pulled her hood up hearing the sound of thunder and rain outside then smiled shyly at Mikael
"hold on Alex, I'll drive you, it's pouring outside, as for you Mikael, I'll deal with you later" she sent a venomous glare at the man and took Alex's hand in her own and pushing past the obnoxiously smirking Mikael who just winked t them as they passed.
