Chapter 195: Chapter 195 - It’s Too Late To Regret Now!

Su Wan was initially still unhappy about the plot of the movie but now, only awkwardness was left.

It seemed she had just kissed Jiang Xuecheng’s fingers...a gesture which made people’s imaginations run wild...

Jiang Xuecheng smiled mischievously. His throat moved slightly and when he spoke, his voice was slightly hoarse.

“Wan Wan, are you deliberately seducing me?”

“Definitely not!”

Su Wan burst into shame and was upset with her gesture. All she could do now was to look away and not look at Jiang Xuecheng’s face.

Even if she had spaced out, how could she do this?

Jiang Xuecheng hugged Su Wan’s waist and his thin lips approached Su Wan’s red ears. “Why are you blushing, then?”

The man’s scorching hot breath was close to Su Wan’s ears. Her body trembled and felt her soul burning along with it.

“Don’t come so close.”

Her nose was filled with Jiang Xuecheng’s breath. Su Wan was so nervous she couldn’t speak properly.

Jiang Xuecheng smiled. He supported his weight with one hand on the couch, looking at the blushing Su Wan in delight. Jiang Xuecheng’s voice was very low and extremely evil and seductive.

“Wan Wan, to be fair, you should feed me a grape too.”

“Eh?”

Su Wan darted a glance at Jiang Xuecheng in surprise. The man beside her raised his brows, giving out a look which implied ‘try if you dare to not feed me’.

Su Wan gulped and finally stretched out her hands to reach for the fruit plate on the table. She peeled a grape and carefully sent it to Jiang Xuecheng’s mouth.

Beyond Su Wan’s expectation, Jiang Xuecheng imitated her earlier gesture and kissed her fingers!n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Her gesture was unintentional but this man had obviously done it on purpose!

The warm touch spreading from her fingertips covered Su Wan’s fair hand with a layer of redness. Why did she always feel when Jiang Xuecheng did such things, he had other meanings behind?

There was unnatural light in her eyes as she murmured, “This is not hygienic. My hand is not a grape. Aren’t you a clean freak? That’s enough!”

Jiang Xuecheng gazed at Su Wan’s beautiful cheeks and finally let go of her hand. He laughed.

Su Wan quickly retracted her hand. She took a piece of paper napkin from the table and wiped away the moisture on her hand.

Jiang Xuecheng looked at Su Wan’s distraught appearance. He stretched his hands out and brushed the few strands of hair away from Su Wan’s cheeks. His smile was like a breeze.

“Extremely sweet.” The man’s voice was cold and magnetic but the words he uttered were a little heavy, as if there were different meanings.

Did he mean the grape just now, or...

Su Wan’s rationality ran out of control that instant. Her heart skipped a beat and she felt that Jiang Xuecheng was detestable!

Su Wan angrily hammered Jiang Xuecheng’s shoulders but when his long arms were stretched, he easily brought Su Wan into his embrace.

Jiang Xuecheng pinched Su Wan’s nose and his eyes were filled with playfulness. “I meant the grape is sweet. Wan Wan, what are you thinking?”

Su Wan put forth all her strength to push Jiang Xuecheng’s thick shoulders away. Burning with a frenzy of rage, she pointed at Jiang Xuecheng’s face. “It’s you who deliberately made me think crookedly.”

Looking at his smile, she knew he meant not what he said!

Jiang Xuecheng’s lips went near Su Wan’s ears and kissed her red ears. His scorching hot breath entered her ear, causing an irresistible itch.

“Wan Wan, do you want to prove that you’re sweeter than the grapes?”

Upon hearing this, Su Wan’s eyes widened. Before she could speak, the man had come closer and carried her to the bedroom.

Su Wan’s plea for mercy was to no avail. Finally, she was swallowed into the stomach of the big bad wolf.

The second day, at Di Chen Group’s headquarters, Su Wan walked into her private office. She sat on the chair and felt like she was falling apart.

He was the one who had worked hard but why was she the one who felt extremely tired?

Su Wan had always had a doubt in her heart. How did Jiang Xuecheng train himself? How could he be so energetic?

Su Wan knew there was a fitness club gold card in Jiang Xuecheng’s drawer but she had not seen him jogging or going to the fitness club to train!

Su pouted in indignation. She turned around and turned her computer on. Suddenly, she heard the sound of knocking on the door.

Su Wan shot a glance at the tightly closed office door. She adjusted her posture and smilingly said, “Come in.”

Just when Su Wan’s voice died down, the person waiting outside the door pushed it open and entered. It was the assistant of the planning department, Xiao Zhang. She looked younger than Su Wan and she was a pretty girl wearing a white blouse and black skirt.

Xiao Zhang took out some documents and passed them respectfully to Su Wan. “Deputy director, this is the file for the Jinjang project. Please take a look.”

Su Wan received the thick pile of documents smilingly and said, “Thank you. I’ll take a look at it afterwards.”

Xiao Zhang smiled and then closed the door gently before she left.

Su Wan took the Jinjang project documents. She managed to just turn a few pages before hearing the sound of door knocking. This time, the knocking was heavier than just now, as if the person knocking the door was anxious.

Could the girl have forgotten to tell her something?

Su Wan frowned uncertainly and said, “Come in.”

The door was pushed open that instant. The minute Su Wan looked up, the sight of a tall figure of a man immediately entered her eyes.

After seeing his face, Su Wan’s eyes suddenly sank!

It was Li Peng!

Su Wan stood up slowly. She took a glance at Li Peng’s handsome but sunken face. She knew this man had not been sleeping and eating well because of Lin Fei’er recently.

However, could the pain he suffered be a tenth of the pain Lin Fei’er had suffered?

There was no chance!

Su Wan stared at Li Peng. Her voice was cold as she said, “I’m surprised the front desk staff allowed you in.”

It was her own negligence...

She had only told Zhao Hua Hospital to not allow this man to go near Lin Fei’er’s ward but had forgotten that Li Peng might come and look for her when he was anxious.

Li Peng looked at Su Wan. He lowered his eyes dejectedly as he asked, “How’s Fei’er now?”

Su Wan grumpily narrowed her eyes at Li Peng and said faintly, “Thanks to you, the doctor said the earliest she can be discharged is in half a month.”

Upon hearing this, Li Peng seemed to have lit up that instant and his initial gloomy look glowed brilliantly.

“Really? That’s great! That’s great!”

After saying ‘that’s great’ twice, Li Peng pleaded, “Can I see Fei’er, please?”

When Su Wan heard what he said, she smiled a mocking smile.

“Li Peng, why are you playing the victim? You didn’t cherish Fei’er in the beginning of your relationship and you’re only regretting it now. It’s too late!”
