A sharp light flashed through Jiang Xuecheng’s cold eyes as he was being teased by Tang Yifeng as a person who forgot his friends when he met a girl. His eyes swept across his good friend’s face and his voice was calm.

“If you’re willing to have me look for a hundred people to surround you and disturb you on your wedding night, you can come on and do it now.”

Upon hearing this, Tang Yifeng shivered. He gulped and the scene Jiang Xuecheng described flashed in his mind.

Ah, this was definitely a threat!

Furthermore, Jiang Xuecheng was a person who would do what he said. Tang Yifeng raised his hand helplessly and adjusted the gold-framed glasses on his nose.

“Okay, okay, may the both of you have a wonderful night.”

The elevator arrived at the top most floor of the hotel.

Jiang Xuecheng carried Su Wan and walked out of the elevator. When they arrived at their room, he placed Su Wan down carefully and then whispered in Su Wan’s ears, “Close your eyes.”

Su Wan glared at Jiang Xuecheng. “Playing tricks again.”

Although she grumbled, she still closed her eyes and her lips curved up into a small radian.

She would not admit that she liked every surprise that Jiang Xuecheng had given her.

Su Wan’s smiled deepened. She held Jiang Xuecheng’s hand and walked forward in the dark following his directions.

Suddenly, Jiang Xuecheng turned on the room light.

“Can I open my eyes now?” Su Wan asked softly.

Very quickly, she heard the man’s magnetic voice, “Okay”.

Su Wan opened her eyes slowly with some expectation and uneasiness.

A fairy tale world which was as beautiful as a dream appeared in front of her eyes.

She felt as if she was under the starry sky. The stars and shadows changed all over the sky, outlining one after another fairy tale character.

The blue light like the fireflies swayed in the room arousing her urge to reach out to catch it.

“It’s so beautiful...”

Su Wan was stunned. Suddenly, petals fell from above and along with the wind that blew, scattered everywhere.

The rose petals fell on Su Wan and Jiang Xuecheng’s hair and shoulders. Su Wan felt as if she was in a dream.

She had never expected Jiang Xuecheng to have such a child-like heart.

Jiang Xuecheng’s fingers interlocked with Su Wan’s fingers tightly and put his finger on his lip as a gesture of silence. Then, he brought Su Wan into the room.

Su Wan didn’t know how Jiang Xuecheng had set the switch but gradually, she could hear misty voice of singing in her ear.

The lights slowly dimmed and the deep blue floated in the air just like the quiet night.

It was just the sound of humming. It was very simple but it was so beautiful and ethereal, just like a mermaid jumping out of the blue sea, revealing her beautiful voice under the starry sky.

“Look over there...”

Jiang Xuecheng smiled when he saw Su Wan’s unconcealed joy. Then, he pointed at a place.

Following his guidance, Su Wan saw a beam of light shining from above as it lit up the center of the room.

Su Wan saw a mermaid leaning on the red coral reef. Her seaweed-like long golden hair spread over her shoulders and she looked soft and charming.

Su Wan seemed to have been possessed. She couldn’t help letting go of Jiang Xhecheng’s hand and walked toward the mermaid sculpture.

Su Wan touched the mermaid’s long hair, feeling touched and bitter at the same time.

“Xuecheng, I like it, I like it very much.”

Everything he had given her wasn’t only unexpected but had also touched Su Wan’s heart.

She remembered Jiang Xuecheng asking her casually once which fairy tale character she liked.

She had told him without hesitating that she liked the little mermaid.

That was right. The story of Snow White and Cinderella did not touch Su Wan much. When she was young, she saw the little mermaid turning into a sea foam and her tears fell on the fairy tale book.

How could there be a little mermaid like this in this world?

It was clearly so beautiful but she could only love and couldn’t get.

“It’s delicious, a little sour and sweet!”

Su Wan added another sentence in her heart, she would remember her wedding anniversary in the future.
