"Two outâ¦." Mr. Cool said as he looked at Lora and Elly.
"Why are you talking like you are not a part of it?" Max asked as he looked at him.
"Now, don't pay attention to little detailsâ¦." Mr. Cool brushed it off with a smile.
10 minutes passed and another sphere of mist started to turn dark and the person who was out was surprisingly Erinaâ¦.
Max thought that she would at least be within the top 3 for sure. She was strong and had experienced much more being in the position that she was inâ¦and yet she had been thrown out a lot sooner than he had expected.
Erin sat on the ground. Her expression was sour, it seemed she had been fed something disgusting.
A few more minutes passed and another sphere of mist started to turn dark.
"Don't tell me not even one of these guys would passâ¦" Mr. Cool said as he looked at the mist.
"Just to remind you, you failed the most miserably hereâ¦." Max didn't even shift his gaze from the mist and chimed in the truth.
At this moment, the dark mist dispersed. The person who appeared was Aria, her fists were clenched and she suddenly raised her head and her eyes coincidentally met with Max.
Her face turned a bit redâ¦anger, embarrassment, guilt, objectionâ¦.several emotion flashed past her face. She instantly turned her head away, it was quite clear she was having a hard time with whatever she had expperiencedâ¦.
"You sure you don't wanna go and talk to herâ¦" Max asked as he looked at Mr. Cool.
"Let her be, she needs to work it out on her ownâ¦" He replied as he looked at his sister.
"What about yourself?" Max asked, but was ignored.
20 more minutes passed before Bahamut came out, he had a frustrated look on his face.
He looked at Lear and spoke, "Next time, I will clear itâ¦'' and left towards the side to contemplate about the event.
It seemed he had developed a competitive spirit against Lear.
"Now that's the attitudeâ¦." Mr. Cool said with a smile as he looked at Bahamut.
"You aren't in a position to say thatâ¦" Max really felt like kicking the annoying guy but held his urges back.
He then looked at the mist, 'Now this is a bit unexpected...leaving Wilson asideâ¦"
â¦.
"We ended up hurting her won't you agreeâ¦."
Wilson stood there as he saw the smile on that beautiful face. She was always smiling in front of her.
He didn't know how she was all this timeâ¦.
"She probably hates usâ¦..we send her in a hellâ¦.it must have been worse than deathâ¦.''
Wilson's fingers were clenched into a fist but he refused to look away. There was nothing wrong about itâ¦yet, it seemed so painful to his earsâ¦.
"She might not want us anymoreâ¦."
"Besides, don't you think we should leave her? We caused it all, we don't deserve to stay by her sideâ¦she must wish for the same..."
Wilson looked at that beautiful smiling faceâ¦.not deserving to be by her side...
"Why aren't you replying to me? Isn't this what you think yourself? Are you really gonna feign ignorance nowâ¦"
The reflection looked at Wilson's back and his eyes fell on his clenched fist.
"So, you are still gonna deny it?" He said shaking his head and the surrounding started to turn dim.
As the reflection was about to disappear, Wilson turned his head and looked at him.
The reflection froze. A single gaze was enough to convey his feelings. The reflection shook its head.
The dim surrounding which was turning dark suddenly stopped. Veins began to pop out on Wilson's body.
'We really are selfishâ¦.'
â¦.
Time continued to trickle and an hour had passed alreadyâ¦
They were really holding it outâ¦.
And finallyâ¦one of the spheres of mist started to disappearâ¦.it had turned dark.
Another failureâ¦
But suddenly towards the end, the dark mist suddenly seemed to go through a transformation. It turned partially white and disappeared.
The person who appeared was Wilson, he stood there. His eyes were bleeding, it seemed like he had cried in blood.
Max could see blood dripping down his clenched fists as well.
"Wilson!" Erina immediately ran up to him. But, Wilson just looked toward the old spirit.
The old man was smiling as if he had seen something amusing.
"Did I pass?" Willson asked as he looked at him.
"Boy, you didn't accept it from your heart but forced your way through that Will of yoursâ¦.it is indeed admirable but if we talk in terms If the test, then instead of failing you are most likely disqualified for breaking the rules..." the old spirit said with an amused face.
"Is it really hard to accept it boy? Isn't it something you feel yourselfâ¦" the old spirit's words were filled with curiosity. There weren't many things in the world that could make the old man have that face.
"So what? If I accept it, I won't have the qualifications to stay by her side. I believe her more than myselfâ¦..even if I think of it, it will never happenâ¦." Wilson said as he look at him. He then raised his fist towards the old man, "When I find her, this thing won't stop me anymoreâ¦.I will definitely break through your stupid testâ¦''
"Interestingâ¦.I will be waiting for you then..." The old man said with a smile.
â¦
"Why are you smiling?" Mr. Cool asked as he looked at Max.
"I think I saw the comingâ¦.." Max shook his head. If he had to put it in words, it was very Wilson likeâ¦..
"Now, only two are leftâ¦" Mr. Cool said.
"Yeah the unexpected twoâ¦." Max said as he looked at the mist.
And at this moment, the remaining mist started to move as well and it wasn't blackâ¦
''Is this really happening?" Max asked as he looked at Mr. Cool. But the guy just shrugged.
The old spirit was smiling as well.
Max looked at him, his face was clearly saying, 'I heard something different from you...'
