Hello, this is Kinugusa, and Iâve been having a hard time with this hot weather.
I dread it because itâs the harbinger of my least favorite season, but thankfully it hasnât affected me as much due to the recent trend of self-restraint at home (TL note: COVID maybe? That way he doesnât need to go out in the heat hehe). However, Iâm sure the kids and young people want to play outside, so I hope thereâs a way to let them do it without bothering other people. Thatâs where DIY and other hands-on projects come inâ¦
Well, I opened this afterword with an unimportant aside, but this was the summer vacation volume 4.5.
The summer vacations when I was still a student have long passedâ¦and yet I have never once thought of wanting to go back in time and redoing my school days. Itâs not like I disliked my school life, in fact I reasonably enjoyed it â but I just donât have the patience and confidence to repeat the cycle of getting up early in the morning, studying, getting a part-time job, and going home! My vigor and body have certainly declined after all.
My eyesight is getting worse by the day, and itâs scary to even think about what Iâll look like in another 10 yearsâ¦The future is scary!
Unlike last year, this luxury cruise ship holiday volume has no special exams.
The relationship between Ayanokouji and Kei, and the changes in their classmates.
The new first year students, the changes in Nagumo and the other third year students.
I think the students have grown a lot since last yearâs summer vacation.
And while the students are growing, the adults overseeing them are as wellâ¦
Now, this is a bit of a spoiler, but did you have any idea who the White Room students were?
Yes you did, right? I know, and the story starts here.
Volume 5 will be the second act of the second year arc, and I think it will be a big turning point.
It will signal the start of the second semester and a special exam for each grade.
I was quite surprised to realize that this is the first time in several volumes that we have had a special exam just for the second year students, but I hope you enjoy the next volume.
The world is going through very difficult circumstances now, but letâs all do our best to get through it.
Well then, I hope to see you again soon!
