December 4th, Friday.
The day of reckoning had finally arrivedâor something like that.
It was the first day of what promised to be three blood-soaked days with Go Minji.
"Iâm about to rack up an endless list of sins."
Minjiâs villa was located all the way up in the Kaema Plateau.
She had apparently released a horde of prey (humans) for us to hunt and kill for sport.
And since I was visiting, sheâd gone out of her way to select only women this time.
Even I couldnât quite picture how depraved things were about to get.
"Namu Amitabul."
I began the day with a prayer.@@novelbin@@
"Everything ready?"
"Yes. All preparations are complete."
"Letâs see."
I checked the necklace prepared for Minji.
It had been custom-ordered from the best artisan I could find, with extra cash thrown in to ensure perfection.
Even the chain was made of precious stones.
Using advanced techniques, opals, sapphires, and diamonds in cool hues had been blended together into a gradient pattern and linked into a chain.
The centerpieceâMinjiâhad been shaped into a large teardrop gem, encased in deep red rubies, the shade of pigeon blood.
Even I felt like I could get lost just staring at it.
"What a goddamn waste of money."
But it was worth it.
