âWha-?! What do you think youâre doing?!â
There was a commotion over the phone, and then a new voice came through.
âHello. This is Prosecutor Lee Na-eun from the Incheon Central District Prosecutorâs Office, Criminal Division Three.â
Her voice had the languid tone of someone fighting through their innate laziness, yet it also carried a subtle sensuality, as if holding back an intense desire. Comforting, yet provocative.
âWell, this is fresh.â
I didnât expect her to snatch the phone and speak to me directly. I had planned to visit anyway, but this voice-to-voice encounter beforehand wasnât bad at all. Hearing someoneâs voice first, before seeing their face, gives a different kind of impression.
âSo, you figured out who I am, did you? Prosecutor Na-eun?â âI only know youâre called âSir.â For now. Iâll have confirmation soon enough.â âIs that so? Well, I donât have much to say, then. You snatched the phone to talk to meâwhat is it you want to say? A thank-you, perhaps? I suppose I deserve it; that sexbot was pricey by common standards.â A reminder I threw out, but it didnât seem to faze her.
âAre you coming here?â she asked. âOh, Iâll be there. I plan to inspect you thoroughly, head to toe. Iâve been thinking about you a lot lately.â âIâm honored to hear that Iâve been on your mind. Iâll be waiting. Should I make coffee in the meantime?â âPlenty of sugar.â
I hung up, grinning.
âThis woman is a real piece of work.â
Sheâs waiting for me? Even after I said Iâd inspect her from head to toe? What is she playing at? Maybe Suah was right, and she really does have something else in mind.
âWell, regardless, Iâll have her dripping from head to toe.â
When you catch a wild animal, you need to tame it. If itâs useless, you eat it; if itâs useful, you train it as a hunting dog.
I brought Seo Eun-miâs hand to my steadily hardening shaft.
âStroke it gently.â âYes, Sir.â
Just enough to keep it at full mast, Seo Eun-miâs soft hands worked expertly.

âYouâre crazy! Are you out of your mind?!â
After the call ended, Emilia shouted, snatching her phone back.
âDo you know who that person is?!â âYou seem pretty scared. Must be someone high up, huh?â âOf course!â âWell, I think weâve gathered all we need. Since the person weâve been searching for is on his way, letâs wait for him.â
Prosecutor Na-eun casually put down her papers, tore open a coffee mix packet, and stirred it by the water cooler.
âWhat are you doing now?â âI told him Iâd make coffee.â âOh, please. Youâre giving that trash to him?â âIf you think itâs trash, whyâd you stock it here?â âFor people like you who stress me out.â âDoesnât seem like he stresses you out much. You got pretty worked up earlier. Should I be grateful for that?â
Na-eun tore open another packet, adding extra sugar. Emilia just shook her head, thinking, What kind of nutcase is this? and plopped down on the sofa.
ââ¦The one who killed Jincheol⦠is on his way hereâ¦?â âWhat the hellâs wrong with him now?â
She sighed, watching Detective Song mumble to himself in a daze.
Buzz.
Her phone vibrated.
âYes, hello.â âP-Prosecutor!!â
A frantic voice spoke. Investigator Yoo was panting on the other end.
âWhatâs going on?â âY-You need to stop! Are you still at Rainbow Miracle?â âYes. I just got off the phone with âSir.â Said heâs on his way. Feels like Iâm finally going to see the sun through the clouds.â â!!!â
Investigator Yoo gasped. Instead of calling everything off and declaring innocence, she was actually waiting to meet the man himself in person.
He took a deep breath and yelled from his gut.
âThe man behind this case is Go Group, Prosecutor! That âSirâ youâre talking about is Go Mooyeol, the grandson of Go Young-man!â âGo Group?â
The hand stirring the coffee froze, her eyes widening slightly. Even when sheâd found a sexbot sprawled in her bedroom, she hadnât flinched. But this revelation seemed to affect her.
âThis is beyond even you, Prosecutor! You need to get out of there, now!!â
For a moment, she stood still, lost in thought.
Go Group.
Even someone with no idea of how this society works could name the dominant force in the room. Itâs Go Group.
Most people donât know how it controls society specifically, but they know its influence is everywhere. Some scholars even suggest that Go Groupâs loose grip extends over all of Asia, not just South Korea.
âWell⦠Seems like Iâve bitten off more than I can chew this time. I didnât realize it was this big.â âWhat are you talking about? You need toââ âThank you for your efforts. I donât think weâll be working together anymore.â âProsecutor?â âGoodbye.â âProcââ
She ended the call. The phone rang again, but she ignored it.
And as she resumed stirring her coffee, a faint warmth flickered in her expression.

âProsecutorâ¦!!â âWhat did she say?â ââ¦She thanked meâ¦.â âWhat?â âShe said⦠we wonât be working together anymoreâ¦!!â â!!â
Investigator Yoo clenched his fist, biting his lip until it bled. Even after learning that his unshakeable Prosecutor Na-eun was up against a foe far beyond their reach, she stayed calm and bade farewell as he pleaded with her to withdraw.
Sheâs risking her life to uphold justice.
What an admirable woman. What a commendable prosecutor.
Though he knew it was impossible, though he knew it was futile, the thought of her walking into danger with that relaxed face made his eyes burn.
He trembled.
âIâ¦!!â
He had been brave when the enemy was just a vague concept. But now that the danger was concrete, he couldnât face it.
He wanted to drop everything and return to the way things were.
Right. Letâs go back.
Go Group? No way. This is too much, even for me. Itâs one thing to take a shot when thereâs a slight chance, but this is overkill.@@novelbin@@
So⦠Letâs retreat.
Itâs not cowardice. Itâs just logical.
He was about to turn away.
But thenâ¦
Na-eun
The name etched on the sexbot surfaced in his mind, along with the memory of its grotesque, violated state.
The horrifying, obscene image lingered before his eyes.
âProsecutorâ¦!â
He reaffirmed his resolve.
He couldnât just leave her alone. He couldnât allow the reckless heir of Go Group to defile her body.
He swore he wouldnât allow it!!
He renewed his vow.
Even if she walked through hell, he would be by her side.
ââ¦Please, clerk, go back on your own.â âWh-what?â âIâm going to Rainbow Miracle.â â!!â
He moved towards the car. The clerk tried to block him.
âPlease move.â âInvestigator, calm down. Letâs try calling her firstââ âSheâs not someone who listens to reason. Not to mention, she wonât take my calls.â âBut⦠But ahead lies⦠a hell!â ââ¦â
Heâs going to die if he goes.
He said to himself quietly, trying to silence his own urge to retreat.
âIt started as admiration. I wanted to protect justice and thought I could do it alongside her. But⦠Iâm just in love with her.â âWhat?â ââ¦Even if I die, I want to be by her side. Iâm going.â
âInvestigatorâ¦â
The clerk, moved by his steely resolve, responded in kind.
âThen, Iâm going too.â â?!â âWeâre a team, right? A team supporting Prosecutor Na-eun!â â!!â
He opened the door.
âAnd remember, you promised me top-quality Korean beef barbecue. I havenât forgotten that. You owe me.â
Investigator Yooâs heart swelled with emotion. How fortunate he was to have such a fine comrade by his side in this wretched city, and to serve under an outstanding superior like Prosecutor Na-eun.
âNot one step will I regret in this journey.â
He stepped toward the car.

âWeâve arrived, sir.â
âIs that her?â
Rainbow Miracle basement parking lot. Emilia was waiting, along with a few others. Among them were two unfamiliar figuresâa woman and a man.
Naturally, my attention went straight to the woman.
So thatâs Prosecutor Lee Na-eun.
âSheâs just as alluring as her voice.â
Unlike with Seo Hyun-joo, I hadnât looked at any pictures of her on purpose. I figured it would be meaningless since Iâd end up devouring her anyway. Seeing her in person without knowing her appearance would make the impact even greater.
And it seems that gamble paid off. The soft handjob from Seo Eun-mi kept me hard, but seeing Prosecutor Na-eun brought me to full attention.
