TIME JUMP DECEMBER 16 2023
Estella's POV .
It's been about two months since everything happened and I have started going back to the office and Matteo gave me my own personal bodyguard it's annoying sometimes but it can be a little nice. Her name is Charlotte and she's French and yes she is a girl and some of Matteo's other guards make fun of her for it but she stands up for herself and she is really good at her job and Matteo makes them do stuff that he knows will hurt them.
I woke up at 8:28 am today I scrolled on my phone for a little then I tried to get out of bed but Matteo grabbed my wrist and pulled me back onto the bed I gasped "Matteo what are you doing ?" I asked as I tried to get lose from his grip "Caro were are you going ?" He said still sleepy "I am going to go shower." He nodded just before going back to sleep, I got up and went to the bathroom I did my business and went in the shower and played my music I got out brushed my teeth and covered myself and went over to my closet it took me a little because today was cold and I also wanted to were something nice I looked and looked but then I found the perfect thing. It was a all grey sweats I went to my makeup room and did my hair and my and left it out and went out into my room.

I walk out into my room and Matteo is already in the shower I grabbed my phone and went to Val's room and she was in the shower so I just sat on her bed and waited for her scrolling through my phone and about twenty minutes pass and I hear the shower stop then the door opens "Oh hey." I said getting off my phone I gasp and she gasped "OMG I AM SO SORRY I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE DRESSED." I said closing my eyes "H-how long have you been here?" She asked covering herself with the towel I look at her "About twenty minutes long enough to hear your beautiful voice."
I said as she blushed "Well I will get out and let you get dressed." I said getting up about to grab the door knob but she grabbed my wrist, "Wait can you stay here I will get ready in the bathroom it just gets lonely in the big room." "Oh ofc I get it I didn't have much friends only Rosa." I said hugging her.
"What how could you the most beautiful girl I have ever seen not have any friends?" She asks about I just shrugged "Well I am here if you need me and your lonely." she gave me a kiss on the cheek I nodded and she went to go change. I went back on her bed thinking about my childhood even tho I had power kids were scared of me in school and the friends I did have we fake but I snap of of it when I see Valentina come out the door with a outfit like mine but in black.
I eyes widen "Wow we are matching ." She blushed "Well I wanted to match with you now come on now let's go get something to eat." I nodded we went downstairs and Matteo and Lorenzo were already at the table. They both look at us "Where we're you to ?" Before I could say something Valentina beat me to it, "She was helping me pick out my outfit we got something similar." She said as we went to go sit she winked at me.
We ate breakfast it's was the best thing ever it was silent and awkward but then Matteo finally broke the silence, "Well since it's December we have to attend the annual Christmas ball and it's tomorrow." Lorenzo and Valentina signed "No it's so boring." "Do I have to ?" "Already." They say over each other "I know I know but we have to go especially when we are the most powerful mafia out their and me and Lorenzo have to pick out the girls outfits. " They all sighed I just kept eating when we finished I called Rosa over.
When she came over me and Valentina took her to Val's room and told her everything. "Ok Rosa their is going to be a annual Christmas ball and we have to attend and you are going to go with Lorenzo." Valentina said looking at Rosa "wait really I always wanted to go to one what are we going to wear." Me and Valentina smiled " What ?" Rosa said looking at us "Well that's the think we don't know the guys have to pick for us." She looked shocked "Vraiment ?" (Really) me and Val nodded and so did she. "Hey are y'all getting hungry?" I said holding my stomach "Allons chercher quelque chose" (let's go get some) we nodded and left her room.
We went downstairs as we were going down the stairs Valentina shouted something, "Abbiamo fame, ragazzi" (we're hungry guys) Matteo looked up "Stesso andare a vestirsi" (Same go get dressed) she nodded she looked back at us "Allons nous habiller" (let's get dressed) me and Rosa nodded Rosa went to my room and I let her borrow a dress from my closet. She took a little but she found something cute but nothing to crazy it was the middle of December I looked for a little then found something cute but Valentina came into the room.
"Estella can I borrow something to wear?" She said hugging me, me and Rosa chuckled "Of course." She squeaked "Thank you ! " as she was picking something I went to my makeup room to get ready and Rosa went to my bathroom to get ready and Valentina got ready in my closet. "Ok on the count if three we all walk out revealing are dress ok." I shouted so they would hear me. "Ok" they at the same time "Ok 3...2...1... now " as we all walked out we all gasped at how nice the dressed were "OMG we look so good!" Valentina said as we all looked in the mirror I chuckled "I mean your not wrong." They all nodded with a smile "Let go downstairs and show the guys." Rosa said as she walked to the door we nodded and we left the room.
But before we walked down the stairs Valentina shouted something to them "Girati per" (Turn around) me and Rosa looked at each other with a smile "Ok, siamo pronti" (Okay we're reedy ) Valentina looked at us "Ok lets go." Me and Rosa nodded we walked down and stood behind them "Ok turn around." I said with a big smile they turned around and their jaws dropped Matteo had a smirk on his face he spun me around and held me by my waist, "Wow amore you look Belle" (beautiful ) "I know you look good to." I said with a smirk he turned me around to face him are faces were almost touching he gave me a kiss on my cheek I was shocked but I just smiled and we left the house.

The drive was about twenty minutes the drive was quite but we got their and Matteo opened the door for me and I took his hand and Lorenzo took Rosa hand. We walked in and people were staring at us I was nervous "don't worry love it's just lunch." I nodded and we walked to are table we sat down and Matteo started talking "Ok since the ball is tomorrow all the girls are going to wear gowns and so do you guys, and since we are the biggest mafia their you also have to wear gowns to, me and Lorenzo already pick them out." We all nodded "Val are you going with anybody?" She looked at Matteo then me "No I go by myself and find someone to dance with." I nodded then the food came we ate talked for a little then we went back home.
We get home we all take a shower and we go to the living room and watch a movie I sit next to Val as for Rosa she is with Lorenzo we pick a movie then Matteo sits next to me and put his arm behind my head and brings me closer to him I didn't mind it. The movie was almost done but I was getting tired so I put my head on his chest hearing his heart beat was calming then I fell asleep peacefully.
