“Driving is surprisingly easy,” I said with a happy laugh and Inara just shook her head but with a smile plastered on her face.

“I don’t know if Jack will let you drive anytime soon” She commented with a sigh.

“Of course not anytime soon, Inara” I tried to reassure her.

Yes, asking her to drive me around to see everything, I noted down the things I would do after she drove off with my new Iphone in my hand.

Jotting down the phone numbers of second hand car sales places, I immediately asked her to teach me how to drive, so that all of my plans could be carried out immediately, but seeing how I easily learned the steering wheel and pedals, it seems that I used to be a good driver.

Stopping at a red light, she turns to me and smiles “How about we organise a pyjama night instead so the men can spend their time outside?” She gave me an idea with a big smile.

Well… I didn’t think he’d want to spend time with me anymore, but if that’s what it takes to get Jack out of the house, I guess it’s worth thinking about.

I quickly and eagerly nodded “Good idea, how about tomorrow?”

She squealed happily at the same time as the green light changed “I’ll tell Marcus about this idea, he’ll be thrilled. Just yesterday he said he wanted to have some man time with Jack, because he’s bored at home” Inara explained and I just nodded my head with a smile as I started to think of a plan to do when Jack wasn’t home.

I quickly had to start moving before I aroused any suspicion on Jack’s part that could jeopardise my plans.

Jack was silent and kept looking at me, yes, he seemed to suspect something.

I quickly stood up and picked up two packages before handing them to the couple who looked shocked when they saw them. “What’s this?” Inara asked in shock.

I laughed “A present for accompanying me, Jack would agree, right?” I said to the man who quickly nodded his head as I asked him

“For me too?” Marcus asked with a puzzled look as he too accepted the gift from me.

Feigning exhaustion, I sat my b*dy down on the nearest sofa and rested my head while letting out a very long sigh while closing my eyes.

“You’re pushing yourself” I knew it was Jack who said and sat next to me, but I had to show that I was getting comfortable with him being around me.

Opening my eyes slightly while smiling at him “Ladies with shopping, I forgot that my b*dy just recovered while in the mall” I replied innocently and made everyone laugh.

Pajama party tomorrow?” Inara asked and I was glad that she had brought it up so I nodded my head in agreement.

Surprising me Marcus raised his hand “My idea, I missed our guy’s night and asked Inara to keep Ellaine company last night, how about it, Jack?”

I pretended to close my eyes again and drank the water from the glass Jack handed me.

Yes, I had to keep up the pretense so he wouldn’t get suspicious…

“You can go” I interjected while slightly opening my eyes to appear weak “There’s Inara and I’ll probably just sleep or eat pizza with her” I said trying to convince everyone.

Jack looked doubtful but I’m glad Marcus kept persuading him so he couldn’t help but nod his head in agreement.

However, I just continued to pretend to be asleep and tried not to show my pleasure when I heard Jack’s answer to Marcus.

Tomorrow night…

They would be leaving after dinner and that was when I had to start moving and taking action.
