(Phone Conversation: J- Jackson, B- Me)

B- Hello?

J- Bliss?

B- Jackson?

J- Yeah, hey. It’s been awhile.

B- Yeah it has. So, why did you call?

J- Is it so wrong to call my best friend that I haven’t talked to for a couple years without needing something?

B- I know you, Jackson. You don’t just call randomly to just say hi. You need something and I want to know what it is, now.

J- *sigh* Yeah, okay. I didn’t just call to say hi. Um, I wanted to ask you something and say I found my mate.

B- You did?! Why didn’t you tell me?!

J- Bliss! Just listen to what I have to say and you cannot get mad.

B- Yeah, sure, whatever.

J- Thank you. I found my mate 3 years ago but at the time we didn’t know that she was adopted with her brother, Jack. Her parents died like 5 years ago and we thought she killed them. She lost all her friends and family the next day and she and another girl, Hailey, became our slaves. When she turned 16, we found out that we are mates. I didn’t know what to do then. I wanted to keep her as a mate but then I thought she was a murder so I rejected her-

B- Wait, you rejected her?! I thought you knew better Jackson!

J- Bliss!

B- Sorry.

J- Thank you. Anyways, she ran away, with Hailey, and they found another pack but 3 years later, they returned. I was so happy that they were back but she had a boyfriend, Alpha Miles. I got so mad but I realized I deserved it. Her pack came to a welcoming party and she forgave her family but me. I was a little pissed. Anyway, her best friend, Hailey, was under a spell from a witch, Ava, and called Emma a slut. Emma started cutting and we found out but then she ran away, again. We found her journal and read it-

B- Why did you read it?! Haven’t you heard of privacy?!

J-Stop and just listen for a second, Bliss!

B- *sigh* Okay.

J-Thank you. Anyways, we read it and it said that Ava isn’t even a werewolf. We read her files and they were true. Ava has 2 brothers and a sister but they ran away when they heard their parents plan. Emma said that she was going to do go where they were and she wasn’t back and it was like 5:00 in the morning so we packed our stuff and Emma comes back at 9:00 with an old friend. She thought that we were leaving but we told her what we were doing do she packed her bags. We got to The Silver Cave, where Ava siblings were staying, and they gave us a book-

B- Why would they give you a book?

J- Bliss.

B- okay, okay. I’ll stop.

J- Well we found out that Emma is a princess and The White Wolf-

B- Wait, she’s The White Wolf?!

J- Yes, now pay attention. Jack and her kind of passed out and when they woke up, they left to find their mom, since their dad died in a battle. Emma turned into a huge purple dragon and they met their real siblings and then Emma’s other mate showed up. He marked her by force and so she was slowly dying until I found her and marked her when she passed out. She woke up and learned all about how she has to kill Rasputin. Rasputin attacked the castle earlier than we expected and he sliced Emma’s throat. Making her mute.

*Silence*

B- So.... You want me to do want?

J- I need you to help Emma not be mute. I need you to do the same process you did to not be mute.

B- You do now what the process is, right Jackson?

J- *sigh* Yes, I do.

B- And that it takes a whole week to work plus the pain?

J- Yes I do. It’s for Emma. I can’t not let her do this.

B- Okay, yeah I can do this. I’ll just get Caleb.

J- Thank you so much, Bliss.

B- No problem. Just be here by next week.

J- No problem there. See you than.

B- See you.

J- Bye.

B- Bye

(End of Phone Conversation)

I hung up and sighed. I can’t believe him. I thought he knew better. No one should go through rejection.... ever. I guess we have to start making plans for them to be here.

“Bliss?” Xavier waved a hand in front of my face, making me come out of my thought. I looked at Xavier with raised eyebrows at him. “Who was that?” He asked me and I shrugged.

“Yeah, I’m fine. An old friend just called me,” I said and his eyebrows furrowed together.

“Why?” He asked and I sighed.

“Apparently he found his mate and he didn’t tell me and she is The White Wolf,” I said and his eyes widened.

“Are you serious?” He asked me and I nodded.

“Yep. The guy she’s supposed to kill attacked early and sliced her throat, now she can’t talk. They want me to get Caleb and do the same process as I did so she can talk again,” I said and his eyes widened.

“What? They do know the effects of it right?” He asked and I sadly nodded.

“Yeah but he said she really wanted to,” I said and he sighed.

“Okay, when do they come?” He asked.

“Next week,” I said and he nodded. We finished up our food and put our plates in the sink than went to find Caleb.

I just hope they know what they are doing.

*1 week later*

I was in mine and Xavier’s room for Jackson and his group when Xavier walked in.

“Hey,” he said and sat beside me. I smiled at him and put my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

“Hey,” I replied. He smiled at me and cuddled me closer into him.

“Their almost here,” he said. Excitement rushed through me at the thought of Jackson almost here.

“I can’t wait for them to get here so I can meet his mate,” I said. He smiled and nodded.

“Yeah, from what I heard, she was a nice girl and very beautiful,” he said. Jealousy ran through me but I pushed it away. Last time I was Jealous of a girl, it was his sister.

“Yeah I did too,” I said. He chuckled and pulled me tighter against him.

“I’ve seen pictures of her, from Blake, and she is beautiful but I know someone more beautiful,” he said as I looked up at him.

“Who?” I asked and he pecked my lips.

“You,” he whispered, making me blush bright red and he laughed.

“Stop it,” I said as he laughed again. I hit his chest but that only made him laugh harder. “Your mean,” I huffed and turned away from him.

“Awe, come on Bliss. You know I was just kidding,” he said. I ignored him as I stared at the wall.

He sighed. His hands moved down and to my sides as my eyes widened.

He started tickling me as I laughed and tried to push his hands off me but with me laughing, I couldn’t. Dang him.

“Stop....... It........ Xavier.......” I managed to get out as he laughed with me.

“Say I’m the Sexiest, Funniest person in the whole wide world!” He yelled an I shook my head.

No way am I saying that. It will just make his already big ego even bigger and we do not want that.

“I’m the Sexiest, Funniest person in the whole wide world!” I yelled. He smirked at me and tickled me more.

“Say Xavier is the Sexiest, Funniest person in the whole wide world!” He yelled.

I woke up the next morning from my alarm blaring out ‘Just A Dream’ By Nelly. I groaned and reached over to pull Bliss closer to me but grabbed air. I shoot up and looked around but sighed in relief when I heard the shower going.

Rubbing my eyes, I turned off the alarm. I remember the first night Bliss was here we were arguing over what song to put as our alarm clock. I want ‘Centuries’ by Fall Out Boy but she wanted ‘My Immortal’ By Evanescence.

I mean, the song is okay but I wanted something not so girly and she wanted something not so boyish. So we finally settled for ‘Just A Dream’ By Nelly.

I got out of the bed and yawned. I walked into our closet and slipped on a black shirt and some jeans. I ran my fingers through my hair a couple times and then walked out of the room.

I walked downstairs and heard music playing from the gym. Confused, I walked to the gym and walked in.

I stopped and watched as Emma, Jackson’s mate, dance to the song ‘Hurt’ by Christina something. Hey don’t judge, I don’t really listen to her. The only reason why I know who that is, is because of Summer.

The song finished and Emma did the finally move than stayed there for a while, just breathing hard. I started clapping and she jumped.

She turned around and breathed a sigh of relief.

“Oh hey Xavier. How long have you been standing there?” She asked. I chuckled at her and shrugged.

“Not long. Just came downstairs and heard the music. Decided to come check it out. I’m glad I did too. You’re an amazing dancer. How long have you been dancing?” I asked her and she shrugged.

“Thank you,” She said and played with her hands. ” I’ve danced all my life. I just don’t dance in front of people. Not many know I even dance,” She said and blushed.

“Can you show me?” I asked her. She looked up at me, confused. “Dance I mean. Can you show me how you dance,” I said and she nodded.

“Yeah,” She whispered and walked over to her phone. She started tapping the screen for a while until a song started playing through the speaker.

She walked into the middle of the room and took a deep breath. She closed her eyes as the girl started singing and begin to dance.

She finished off the dance moves. She stood up straight as I clapped again. She rolled her eyes at me and grabbed my water bottle and towel. She opened my water bottle and took a sip than put the cap on.

“That was amazing!” I yelled. She rolled my eyes again and wiped the sweat off her forehead. She sighed and unplugged her phone.

‘Not really,’ She said in my head, making me jump. She shrugged and walked out of the gym while I followed her.

“What do you mean?! It was awesome!” I yelled. She rolled her eyes and grabbed an apple from the kitchen.

‘No it wasn’t,’ She said again and I shook my head.

“Whatever,” I said and walked out of the kitchen. I walked into the living room and sat beside Caleb who was watching a football game.

“Who were you talking to?” He asked, not even looking at me. I rolled my eyes at him.

“Emma,” I said and he finally looked at me.

“I didn’t hear anyone with you. I thought you were going crazy for a second there,” I rolled my eyes at him.

“Of course in not going crazy! Since Emma is the White Wolf, she can talk to anyone in their head. Even if she isn’t in their pack or their family,” I explained and his mouth formed a ‘O’ shape.

Bliss came walking into the living room than. I looked at her to see she was wearing workout clothes. I raised an eyebrow at her as I saw she was slightly sweaty.

“I went for a run,” She explained and I nodded. I stood up and walked over to her.

“So when are we going to start helping Emma?” I asked and Bliss shrugged.

“Don’t know. The sooner we start, the better.” She said and I nodded.

“Okay than we should start so it can be done and over with,” I said. Bliss nodded and we started gathering everybody so we could start

Bliss’s POV

“Okay, first of all, there rules that you all need to know so that you don’t cause Emma more pain,” I said.

We were all in the basement, with Emma strapped to the table. I had the needle in my hand that had a black liquid in it. Since Emma is The White Wolf, she has to have a different, stronger one than I did.

“Wait, what do you mean?” Jackson asked and I rolled my eyes.

“Well, first of all, you cannot try to take away the pain for Emma through Mind-Link, it will only make it worse. You can’t even talk to her through Ming-Link. Second, this is a stronger liquid than the one I used-” I got cut off by Jackson.

“Wait, why is it a stronger liquid than the one you used?” Jackson asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Because Emma is The White Wolf and Rasputin had a poison on his claws that could kill her had your healers not started helping her right away,” I said and he nodded. “Anyways, it will take a week to work and then Emma can’t talk for a day,” I added.

I turned to Emma and she looked up at me. I smiled at her and injected the liquid in her neck, making her jump a little.

“I’m sorry,” I whispered to her as she gave me a confused look. “Okay everybody out,” I said as I turned away from Emma. I pushed everyone out and locked the door. “Remember what I said,” I said and walked away with Caleb and Xavier.

It’s been 6 days since Jackson and Emma have been here. Every day I have to stop Jackson from going into the room that Emma was in, in pain.

I hate to see Jackson like this. I don’t really know Emma so you can understand where I’m going with this. Jackson is my best friend though.

I sighed and fell back on my bed. Xavier came over to me and laid down beside me.

“What’s wrong?” He asked and wrapped an arm around my waist. I sighed again and then turned to him.

“I don’t know. It’s just....” I sighed again. “I never knew it could be this hard. I hate seeing Jackson like this. I don’t really know Emma so I can’t really say I hate seeing her like this, but....” I trailed off and Xavier nodded.

“I understand. When you were in pain, I wanted to help you but Caleb wouldn’t let me. I wish I could help also,” He said and I smiled at him.

I brought my hand up and caressed his cheek. I leaned in and pressed our lips together. The kiss was soft and slow but slowly started getting heating and passionate.

Xavier’s hand traveled up and down my side as I moaned. His hand went and stopped at my thigh, rubbing circles while the other one went to my neck and mine found themselves in his hair.

Xavier got on top of me as he pulled my shirt over my head, I pulled his off also and all I can say is things escalated quickly.
