Chapter 484
After eating breakfast, Talia took Kayson to Violet's home. Violet did not put on heavy makeup like
she did last night in the bar. Instead, she put on light makeup, but she was still extremely attractive.
âYou're here. Should we go now?" Talia said, âOf course, we'll drive there.â Violet smiled softly and
asked, âCan you help me to carry some things to the car? Kayson went forward and helped them as
well. Soon, the three of them set off for a village near Greenspring.
Violet's grandmother lived in a village and refused to come and live with them in the town.
Their family did quite well in the tea business. They had amassed quite a lot of wealth, and they had
a few properties in the town as well.
It was just that her grandmother had gotten used to living in the village. She refused to go live in
the city, and Violet's parents couldn't do anything about it.
An accident occurred two years ago, and her health condition had been deteriorating since then.
Her family had tried many methods, such as acupuncture, herbs, and medicine to heal her, but none
of them worked.
Not only that, but she would experience headaches, backache, and leg pain from time to time. Not
long ago, her condition suddenly worsened to the point she had lost most of her appetite. Her
family was nervous, but even the doctors in the hospital couldn't do anything about her condition.
She felt they were wasting their money, so she got out of the hospital and came home.
Kayson remembered the old people in his village after listening to Violet's story. Those old people
in the village were all the same. They had been leading a frugal lifestyle their whole lives, and they
couldn't change it even though their living condition had improved. Roughly three hours later, they
arrived at a village. The village was well-developed. All of the houses were big, and the road was
spacious. They drove all the way and stopped in front of a villa. Violet said, âWelcome to my house.â
Smiling, Kayson commented, âThere are mountains, and the water is clean. It's really a great place to
live.â
Talia seemed to be familiar with Violet's house. While she rushed into the living room, she shouted,
âGrandma, I've come to visit!â
An old woman that could only stand steadily with a cane came out. She seenied happy when she
saw Talia as she welcomed her with a warm smile. âTalia, you've come to visit me again. I'm so happy
about it.â
âTalia hastily went up to support her. She behaved like a tough woman in front of Kayson, but
she was like a sweet and gentle little girl in front of the old woman. âYeah. I love spending time with
you the most, Grandma. I would miss you very much if I didnât see you for a day!â âYou're so sweet,
Talia. Thank you very much for coming to keep me company.â At the same time, Violet and Kayson
came in, and the former greeted her, âGrandma.â The old woman's eyes glowed up when she saw
Kayson and said, âOh my goodness, is he your boyfriend?â Violet's face turned red with
embarrassment as she replied, âNo, Grandma. He's a doctor. Talia said he's very good at medicine.â
Kayson approached the old woman and said, âNice to meet you, Grandma. I'm Kayson Yarde. You
can call me Kace.â âYou have a great physique, kid. Not bad, not bad. Have a seat, then.â Violet's
grandmother was called Elise Snyder, so Kayson called her Madam Snyder. Elise couldn't walk that
much, so she ordered Violet to get some snacks for them. âYour cousin is coming back today. I
heard that he found a doctor for me as well. Honestly, you guys don't have to do this at all. I've
learned to live with my illness. It's fine. I've lived long enough anyway. You guys shouldn't waste
your money like this.â
Talia frowned and said, âGrandma, you shouldn't say something like that. It isn't good.â Violet wasn't
happy either, and she said, âThat's right, Grandma. You're going to live till 100 years old! I donât
want to hear you talk nonsense like that anymore, okay?â Elise smiled at them gently, and Kayson
chimed in. âMadam Snyder, I can heal your injuries.â
