make you tell the truth.”

Sam's eyes turned glassy, and he said honestly, “It's an order from my master. His name is Master

Octavius. He told me that Parker had seen something he shouldn't have, and I needed to silence

him.”

Kayson lifted his eyebrows. “What is it?"

Sam replied blankly, “I don't know.”

"Why didn't you kill Parker straightaway?” Sam replied, “Parker's life is simple. He has never gotten

into a conflict with anyone before, and it'd create suspicion if we just killed him directly. “Initially, I

planned to knock Parker out cold. Then, I'd sneak into the hospital and kill him at night when he was

getting treated in the hospital.” The Younts were dumbfounded, and an angered expression

appeared on their faces when they heard what Sam had said. “What a close call!” Cody growled,

"How can they be so vicious?!” Parker felt that Lady Luck must be on his side this time. If his brother

had not gotten Kayson here, he would have been dead.

Kayson turned his head around and asked, “Parker, have you seen anything odd lately?”
