Chapter 573
A young man with a mature look interrupted and said, âAlright. do not waste your time on him. If he
dares to come with us, I'll make sure he won't walk away from Soritown alive.â
It was only now that Felix noticed something. He looked at them angrily and snarled, âYou guys
never intended to let me get the Lightning Wood, right?â
Lily chuckled and said, âOh gosh, how can you say that? People from a small town truly are
disgusting. You guys have such poor morals!â
Felix had not expected them to pull something like that on him. He had never felt so humiliated
before and he was so angry that he wanted to punch someone.
The young man squinted his eyes and picked up a branch. He imbued it with his inner energy, and
the branch shot toward Felix without any warning.
Felix was taken aback, but it was too late for him to evade it in time. A second later, he felt like he
had been hit by a bullet as the branch shot through his shoulder. A hole appeared, and his bones
cracked.
âFinn! How dare you attack me!â Felix shouted angrily. Finn had attacked him without any warning,
so he hadn't been able to dodge in time.
Finn said calmly, âIt seemed to me that you were going to attack us, so I couldn't let you harm
Qiana and Lily.â
A smile appeared on Qianaâs expressionless face as she said gently. âThank you very much, Finn.â
Lily also chimed in, saying reverently, âYou're the best, Finn. You saw through Felix's intentions and
stopped him before he could harm us!â
The rest of the people chimed in and praised Finn, who enjoyed this kind of feeling a lot.
A second later, he lifted his head and told Felix in a condescending manner, âThis was just a small
lesson.
âIf it happens again, I'll kill you.â
Felix's face turned pale. Finn was an inner energy fighter. He hadn't even mastered outer energy yet,
so it went without saying that he was no match for Finn.
He did not have any other choice but to sit dejectedly under a tree.
He knew this was his only chance to get the Lightning Wood and he shouldn't give up so easily, but
there was nothing he could do right now.
Finn and the others were preparing to go up the mountain. However, he felt a little bit strange when
he saw the blood on the ground.
âThis is strange. Why is there blood on the ground? And the people who used to guard the
mountain aren't around either.â
Qiana was confused as well. âYou're right. This is strange.â
Lily said, âIf they're not around, do you think Felix will come after us?"
As soon as she finished talking, a figure appeared in their line of sight.
Qiana was stunned, and Lily shouted, âHey! What are you doing here?!â
Kayson glanced at them and said calmly, âWhy can't I be here?â
Finn's face sank. âKid, who gave you permission to go up the mountain?â
Kayson ignored him and looked at Felix.
âMr. Yarde!"
Felix was dumbfounded. He did not know why Kayson was coming down the mountain or how he
had gotten up there.
Kayson nodded and looked at Finn. He then asked, âYou're the one who injured him?â
Finn's gaze was cold as he replied, âYes. What are you going to do about it?â
Kayson said calmly, âI'm going to hit you back, of course.â
As soon as he finished speaking, he lifted his arm and a storm blew through the area. A second
later, Finn flew back and rammed into a tree several feet away.
"Ahh!" Lily shouted
Qianaâs face turned pale with fear, while the others squatted on
the ground with their hands on their heads.
Finn spurted out a mouthful of blood and fell unconscious.
Kayson ignored the others and walked up to Felix, who still hadn't come around to his senses.
