quick steps toward Kayson.

He was beyond delighted as he asked, “What brings you here, Dr. Yarde? I thought of looking for

you in Clouspring this afternoon.”

Kayson smiled. “We meet again, Mr. Larson.”

Smiling brightly, Joaquin said, “Yeah, I didn’t expect to run into you here. I have a favor to ask of

you. Anyway, let's go sit down in the director's office to talk.”

Kayson said, “My friend's parents are staying in this hospital. I don’t have a license for medical

practice here, so I might need a little help from you, Mr. Larson.”

Joaquin was shocked but soon smiled bitterly. “You must be joking, Dr. Yarde. If you are here, then

my services are not needed anymore.”
