Chapter 814 Royce chuckled bitterly. âMr. Killick's remark makes a little sense. Don't forget that
Admiralporium, Eternalporium, the Osborns, the Millers... âThey are extremely powerful in Skyspring,
and they are all against Kayson.
âIf you don't want to be afraid of the Cadogans playing tricks or being up to no good in Skyspring,
the first thing is to make all the forces in Skyspring join Kayson as allies.â
Jeremy said in a troubled tone, âThat's difficult. Let alone the further troubles, I'm afraid that trouble
will come soon.
âTaylor won't ever give up on this matter easily, and Randall is not a good man. I'm certain that both
of them share the same rotten tastes in view of how close they are.
âThe Osborns, Millers, Friths, and Wolfendens are all watching us. If they can find the chance, I
believe that they will most certainly figure out a way to annihilate us.â He looked toward Royce. âBe
careful, Royce. The position of the wealthiest man has never been a stable one. It may be yours
today, but someone else's tomorrow. There's no telling that.â
Royce said, âI understand, and I'll be careful.â
Jules said loudly, âAll your concerns are excessive with Mr. Yarde here!â
Kayson had saved the Killicks, so Jules had unparalleled, biased trust in Kayson. One could almost
describe him as Kaysonâs number one fan! Kayson said in frustration, âDon't flatter me, Mr. Killick. I
didnât manage to defeat Taylor tonight...â
Jules said in all apparent seriousness , âThat is because you didn't go all out, Mr. Yarde. You did it
out of respect for Eternalporium. Otherwise, will Taylor still act recklessly when he sees you fighting
with your real capability?â
Jeremy and Royce glanced at one another and saw the shock in each other's eyes.
âJules has been bewitched!â
They knew that Kayson was formidable, but Kayson could not possibly handle one of the top
families in the country, no matter how powerful he was.
Royce and the others had rushed over there after they received the news.
Now that Taylor and the others were already gone, there was no reason for them to linger.
Kayson bid farewell to the anxious Zidane and the others
before he departed for Shamrock Heights. In Kayson's departure, Zidane said in a troubled manner,
âThe Cadogans and Eternalporium are involved now, and that's truly terrifying...â â Hunter said,
"What's so good about the Wolfendens? Why is Kayson trying so hard to protect them?â Powerful
forces like the Cadogans and Eternalporium should not be offended. Kayson would be able to live a
good life anywhere he wanted as long as he did not get into a conflict with these powerful forces.
Zidane heaved a sigh and said, âI donât know, either. I shall talk to him later about how unwise it is
to offend the Cadogans for a few measly people who can't even have a foothold in Skyspring.â
Hunter agreed. âWe must talk to Kayson properly!â
Noticing Kayson's arrival in Shamrock Heights, Leon and Gael immediately approached him.
Leon was relieved to find Kayson safe and sound.
Kayson asked, âMaster Jourdain, Gael, do you know about the Cadogans from Metrocity?".
Gael shook his head. âI heard someone mentioning them, but I donât know much.â
Leon was astonished. âI know some. Why do you ask about them?â
He had more knowledge about the influential forces out there in view of his traveling experience.
"Ah. I got into a conflict with them and plan to get to know them.â
âWhat? You got in a conflict with the Cadogans!?â
Leon was dumbfounded. He was under the assumption that Kayson was fine now that he was back
at home.
Yet, Kayson told him about offending the Cadogans.â Doesn't that mean that my investment in
Kayson has been wasted?â
Leon's expression was unpleasant, and he said furiously, âWhy did you offend the Cadogans? You're
going to get yourself killed!â
