âI've always thought of you as a friend,â came Charlotte's honest reply. âDidn't I say that when we
first got together?â
"Okay," Louis replied with a dejected nod.
"What's wrong, Louis?â Charlotte shot him an anxious look. âAre you all right?â
âI tried my best to forget you, but nothing worked,â Louis revealed with a hand on his chest,
seemingly upset. âI couldn't sleep or eat anything. You're the only person I can think of. My heart
feels like it's about to rip apart anytime...â
Seeing how forlorn Louis was, Charlotte felt a stab of guilt. She chided herself for agreeing to marry
