âCourtney's P.O.Vâ
"Do you mind giving me a bit of privacy?" I scoff as Alexander leans back on the doorframe to my new room. He simply smirks at me.
"What's the fun in having a girl in the house and not bugging her?" He asks in a teasing voice and I look up at him with an annoyed expression.
"Get out." I order him as I point to the door and he chuckles, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Or what?" He challenges. I narrow my eyes at him.
"If you don't, I will tell your dad that you're bothering me." I threaten and he rolls his eyes.
"Nice to know, little girl." He speaks mockingly and I stop what I'm doing - which is folding clothes - and push him out the door. "Aww, kicking me out so soon?"
"Yes," I grunt as I push him hard and prepare to shut the door. "Bye." I tell him and slam the door in his face.
"God damn, watch out we have hulk in the house." I roll my eyes at that.
"Shut up and go bother someone else." I tell him through the door and I glare at it when he knocks.
"Hello," he calls out. "Anybody in there, I was sent to bother someone else. Are you someone else?"
I ignore him and go back to folding my clothes. Maybe if I ignore him long enough, he will leave.
"Hellooo?" He knocks on the door again and I put on my headphones to tune him out.

I smile as I hang my last couple of shirts in the closet and throw myself on the bed. I huff out an exhausted breath when my back comes in contact with it. "Finally," I sigh.
I laugh to myself when my stomach growls loudly and turn off the music before heading towards the door.
The moment I open it, Alexander falls into my room and I shriek when he almost falls on top of me. "What the hell!" I scream when he looks up at me in astonishment and a groan leaves his lips. "How long have you been leaning against my door!?"
He gets up from the floor and rubs his head. "Uhh, Im not sure. How long has it been since you kicked me out?"
My eyes widen. "You have been outside my door for more than two hours?"
"Well, I was bored. I had nothing else to do." He informs me and I roll my eyes at him. He grins. "Impressive no?"
"No," I fake a smile then drop it, showing him my annoyance in my facial features. "Now if you'll excuse me, Im starving."
"Oh yeah about that. Your mom came up like thirty minutes ago to tell me to tell you to come down and eat but when I knocked, you didn't open." He tells me and I chuckle.
"Maybe because I was ignoring you. Ever thought about that being the reason?" He frowns at me when I say this.
"But why would you want to ignore me?" He asks with a pout.
"Because, you're annoying. I've only been here for two days and I already want to get away from you. Like really far away."
He smirks. "Yeah, sure. You know you wish I slept in the same room as you."
I turn to give him a weird look before I burst into laughter. "Yeah, right. Keep on dreaming, playboy." I crouch down to grab my aching stomach and continue laughing.
"Playboy? Oh, already have a pet name for me, I see?"
My laughter stops abruptly as I give him a blank look. "No, just stop." I grimace and walk past him to skip my way down the stairs.
"Wha-ha-hat?" He laughs and I hear his footsteps coming from behind me. "I like it, by the way."
"Well it isn't a pet name. It's what you are." I turn slightly then rush into the kitchen. I immediately look on the stove and sigh in delight when the smell of spaghetti hits my nostrils. "Yum!"
"What is it?" He asks as he is now standing beside me and I turn to look at him with a grin on my face.
"Spaghetti." I respond happily.
He smiles. "Great, I love spaghetti." He says and I smile at him.
"Really? Me too! Plus, Im starving!" I quickly go to grab a plate but it seems like Alexander already beat me to it. "Thanks." I say as I grab the plate from his hand and scoop some spaghetti and meatballs onto my plate before I pour the sauce on top.
I go to sit down on the table and immediately begin to dig in, not giving a single care about who's watching me. I ignore the fact that Alexander is now sitting across from me and isn't making a move to eat his food.
I freeze and look up at him. He chuckles. "What?" I frown.
"You got a little something there." He says as he points to his cheek and I go to grab a napkin but realize I didn't grab any.
"Umm sorry..." I trail off awkwardly and wipe it off with the back of my hand. He chuckles again. "What now?" I ask, getting a bit annoyed.
"You just smeared it." He comments and I groan before getting up from my seat. "Here," he gestures for me to lean forward as he grabs a napkin and I shake my head at him.
"No thanks, I got it." He shrugs as he starts to eat and I grab a napkin from the drawer. I sit back down on the chair and wipe away the sauce from my cheek. "There?" I question as I point to my face and he looks up swiftly before nodding. "Okay, thanks."
He nods his head again and we both go back to eating our spaghetti in comfortable silence.

"So how's school?" He randomly asks as I wash the dishes.
"School's fine." I respond and rinse the current plate I was scrubbing. "How's it for you?"
"It's alright I guess, gotta love the chicks." I roll my eyes at the last thing he said.
"Of course, playboy." I shake my head at him as I wash the last dish and dry my hands on the towel before turning around. I raise an eyebrow when he simply stares at me with a scrunched up face. "What?"
"I can't check you out all that well with those clothes." He groans and my jaw drops slightly before I slap his chest.
"You perv! Im your soon-to-be-sister!" I screech and he smirks.
"Actually, baby girl." I make a disgusted face at his nickname for me. "Our parents are only getting married. It's not like they're magically going to change our genes into both of theirs. You will never be my true sister."
True.
"Still," I turn away from him. "I will be your sister figure and you'll be my brother figure. It's just weird."
"But we're not blood related, baby girl."
"Don't call me that." I turn to glare at him. "Anything but that."
"Okay, sweet cheeks."
I groan. "Or that."
"How about doll face?"
"No."
He chuckles. "Sunshine?"
"No." I walk out of the kitchen and he follows along as I go towards the stairs.
"Sugar plum?" I make a disgusted face.
"Definitely not that."
"Uhh Courtney?" I turn around and clap my hands in exaggerated excitement.
"Yes! That's perfect!" I cheer loudly. Then I make a serious face. "Call me that and only that. Because that's exactly what my name is." I turn back around and dash up the stairs.
"But that's no fun!" He whines in a childlike voice and I hear him going up the stairs behind me. "How about Courts?"
I spin on my heel when I enter my room and smile at him. "No."
Slam.
"Rude." He comments through the door and I roll my eyes before laying down in bed.
