Chapter 199: The Dream of a Bewildered Youngster
Flower City's Peerless Divine Doctor
"Excuse me, is Doctor Xu in?"
A gentle, melodious voice caught Li Chenâs attention.
"No, Doctor Xu is off today for some personal matters," Li Chen said as he put down his phone and looked up.
In his line of sight stood a striking figure at the door of the clinic.
The woman was about 165 centimeters tall, clad in a black mock neck minidress that flared out slightly, hanging just over half her thigh. Below, two rounds of shapely legs were wrapped in flesh-colored stockings, set off by a pair of black leather shoes.
Her features were delicate, and her black hair was fastened with a large hair clip, exposing a white, slender, swan-like neck and a pair of glittering ears.
Most impressive of all, her bust was a magnificent sight, waves upon waves, completely disproportionate to her slightly slender frame.
The instant he saw her, Li Chen was captivated.
What a stunning beauty.
And dressed in a way that accentuated her character.
Yet, gazing at that beautiful face, he felt an overwhelming sense of familiarity, but he couldnât quite place her.
"Excuse me..."
He was just about to inquire further when he saw the woman nodding in disappointment, ready to leave.
"Teacher Su!"
Just as she turned around, Li Chen suddenly remembered and blurted out.
All at once, a wave of inexplicable excitement surged through him, and he stood up from his chair to face the woman who had abruptly stopped and turned back.

"You are...?"
Su Xiaoâs face was tinged with confusion as her lovely eyes settled on Li Chen. Then, as if remembering something, she expressed her surprise, "Li Chen, youâre Li Chen!"
"Teacher Su, itâs me! I didnât expect to see you here."
Li Chen walked over excitedly, gazing at the ravishing figure before him.
That summer, a vision in a white dress, like a snow lotus from an ice cap, had left a deep impression on the heart of a naïve young boy.
It was a youthful memory, and the first stirrings of infatuation for a callow youth.
Unexpectedly, all these years later, they had met again here.
"Li Chen, youâve become a doctor?" Su Xiao said in surprise, looking at the white coat on Li Chen.
"Yeah, I got into medical school. After I graduated, I came to work at the Provincial Hospital, and now Iâm doing my internship," Li Chen said excitedly.
Then, as if recalling something, he continued, "Teacher Su, I even went back to Dragon City No.5 Middle School while I was at university, but I heard you were no longer there and had transferred to another school."
"I transferred to Dragon City No.5 Middle School and have been teaching there," she replied with a smile.
"Back then, you were good at your studies. By my calculations, you should have just graduated this year, and youâve already made it into the Provincial Hospital. Thatâs impressive."
"I owe it to..."
Li Chen was just starting to reply when he saw a pained expression cross Su Xiaoâs face, followed by her biting her lower lip as if in great pain.
"Teacher, whatâs wrong? Do you feel unwell?" Seeing her trembling in pain, Li Chen hurriedly supported her arm.
"Itâs nothing, Doctor Xu isnât here; Iâll go see another doctor," Su Xiao said as she tried to straighten up with difficulty.
"Teacher, I am a doctor. Whatâs the point of looking for someone else? Just tell me where it hurts," Li Chen offered.
"You?" Su Xiao was startled and then, her lovely face turned beet red in an instant, "No! I canât! I should see another doctor!"
Hearing this, Li Chen had his suspicions.
Teacher Suâs problem was likely in a private area.
At that thought, he felt an overwhelming desire stir within him.
Back in school, he had secretly fancied Su Xiao. Even with a six or seven-year age difference, who would consider such things at the height of their youthful, hormonal surges?
"Teacher Su, the other doctorsâ appointments are fully booked. Even if you line up now, it wouldnât be your turn until after 3 p.m.," Li Chen pointed out.
"You seem to be in a lot of pain. Let me take a look; donât delay..."
Close by, inhaling the faint fragrance emanating from Su Xiao, seemingly milky, sent Li Chenâs emotions into a frenzy.
She still appeared so gentle and beautiful, and perhaps even more refined than before, with an added touch of mature charm.
Su Xiao hesitated for a moment.
Enduring the pain, she had come to the hospital, making rounds until she found this quiet spot, and thus she knocked on the door.
But she never expected to run into a former student.
"Li Chen, I really canât..."
Su Xiaoâs face flushed with embarrassment as she shook her head, "Youâre a man, how can you look..."
"Why couldnât I? Firstly, Iâm a doctor. In a doctorâs eyes, no matter what body part it is, itâs just an organ, and saving lives is a doctorâs foremost duty," Li Chen articulated with all seriousness.
Su Xiao looked at him, wavering but still unable to let go, shaking her head again more shyly, "Li Chen, itâs not that I donât trust you, but you were my student, and Iâm your teacher. I just canât bring myself to say it."
"Ah!"
She suddenly bent over, a pained groan escaping her lips.
Her eyebrows furrowed tightly, as if the pain was unbearable.
"Is it your chest thatâs uncomfortable?" Li Chen asked, noticing she had reached for her chest when bending over.
At his words, Su Xiao turned even redder, if that were possible, her face so flushed it looked as though it could bleed.
He was a student she had once taught. How could she discuss such a topic with him? She wanted nothing more than to vanish into thin air.
Yet the intense pain coming from that area wouldnât allow her to stand straight.
She felt utterly mortified.
