Simone observed her father’s arrival, his commanding presence filling the room instantly. The atmosphere shifted, and she straightened, instinctively sensing the change.

Even more crucial, Simone knew that her father had already reported Robin to the higher authorities.

She was well aware of the powerful network her father had, including many close friends and former classmates holding influential positions in government Robin had wronged her, and Simone was confident her father would use every connection at his disposal to ensure Robin’s complete downfall.

Having grown up by her father’s side, Simone understood the intricacies of that world. A single misstep from someone like Robin could easily destroy their career.

The people who held real power weren’t just influential–they were ruthless. One wrong word could erase a person’s entire future.

So what if he’s the commander–in–chief of the Dragon Soul Special Forces? What can his title do for him at such a young age?

At his rank, he has no solid backing. My dad’s circle is always thorough, gathering every detail about their target before making any move.

No matter what skills or accomplishments Robin has, they won’t matter.

Simone’s mind turned cold with satisfaction.

Robin had offended her, and that was something she could never forgive.

With that thought, she screamed, “Dad, it’s this j*rk who harassed me! I can’t show my face to anyone anymore!”

Jethro, Anton, Jackson, and all the elite members of the Dragon Soul Special Forces froze, taken aback.

A moment of silence passed, followed by a brief exchange of glances that seemed to communicate disbelief.

Catherine barely stifled a laugh.

Her gaze flicked from Simone’s heavily made–up face to Robin, who stood motionless, his expression unreadable, Who in their right mind would believe such a ridiculous, low level accusation?

“Let her go!” Kennard barked, his face dark with anger.

The two guards hesitated, glancing between Robin and Jethro, but they didn’t release Simone.

“Let her stand up first, then she can explain herself,” Jethro ordered, his face a mask of indifference.

Simone struggled to her feet, collapsing into her father’s arms and sobbing. “Daddy, I can’t face anyone anymore! Sob...”

Kennard pointed at Robin, his voice icy. “I want an explanation from you!

“You’re the commander–in–chief of Dragon Soul Special Forces, a senior officer in Draconia, and yet you engage in this kind of disgraceful behavior? I’ll report this to the higher–ups!”

Jethro’s voice grew colder still. “Mr. Morales, you can’t make such accusations without evidence. Does your daughter have any proof that Commander–in–chief Ramsey harassed her?

“If these claims are false, it’s slander, and that’s a serious offense!

“Be careful, accusing a senior officer in Draconia–especially one with the rank of commander–in–chief during wartime–could lead to immediate consequences.”

Kennard visibly flinched.

Jethro’s threat wasn’t an empty one.

“Simone, what exactly happened?” Kennard demanded, shaking his daughter. “Tell them!

“In a team as disciplined as ours, we will never allow someone with such poor character and morals to hold a position of power!”

Simone wiped her tears and pointed at Robin. “Dad, you sent me to the Island Restaurant to meet that Hawklorean man for a blind date.

“When we sat down, I asked him to take out a pen and paper to write what I was saying. But instead of helping me, he ignored me and told me to leave!

“Dad, when has any man ever treated me like that? How could he just ignore me like that?

“With our family’s position, our wealth–he should have been respectful! He should’ve agreed to everything I asked!”

Simone’s voice trembled with outrage as she continued. “And then, he had the nerve to shout at me and have security throw me out of the restaurant!

“I even told him I was your daughter, and that our family has 11 overseas bank accounts, but he still ignored me. How could he do that?”

Kennard was caught off guard and paused, unable to provide an answer.

He feared she might reveal all his secrets. What Simone didn’t realize was that her casual remark had nearly given him a heart attack.

Those so–called “overseas accounts” were anything but legitimate. If anyone found out about them, it would be the end of him.

Simone continued, “I even asked him to pick up my shoes and put them back on for me, but he refused. It was so humiliating, especially in a place like that!

“And then, when I returned to Duskhaven Hotel, he followed me there. Isn’t that harassment?”

She began to sob again, “If my friends find out about this, I won’t be able to face them!”

Brendon, who had been silently observing, glanced at Simone’s pale, hollow face before his gaze fell on her oddly proportioned body. Unable to hold back, he burst into laughter.

“Are you out of your mind? Do you really think Commander–in–Chief Ramsey would harass someone like you? Hahaha, that’s a good one!”

Simone’s face turned red with fury, and she pointed at him, shouting, “You j*rk! Who do you think you are?”

Brendon stepped forward, his face hardening. “I’m Brendon, heir to Southville Residence. How dare you insult me!

“Do you really think your little family position gives you the right to act like this?

“Watch your mouth. One more word like that, and I’ll slap you across the face.”

Simone, still seething, knew just how much power the Southville Residence had in Draconia. She dared not push him further.

Kennard stood frozen, shocked by the revelation. He hadn’t expected one of Dragon Soul Special Forces‘ elite members to be connected to the Southville Residence, a powerful lineage far beyond his reach.

Catherine couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “You think someone like you could ever get Commander- in–Chief Ramsey to harass you? If he’s harassing anyone, it’d be Colonel Wright or Talia, not you!”

Robin rolled his eyes at Catherine.

Talia and Freya, however, blushed upon hearing that, wishing they could dig a hole in the ground to hide 1. in.

Meanwhile, Simone gritted her teeth, unable to take the humiliation anymore. “Who the hell are you to insult me like that?”

Smack! The sound of Catherine’s slap echoed loudly in the room.
