Chapter 1337
The Ceo’s Convict Wife
Hanna stared at the scene in a daze. She thought, âDid Calvin⦠defeat all of them? But could he do that alone?â
Hanna suddenly asked, âDid⦠Did you get hurt?â
Calvin smiled lightly and said, âTheyâre not enough to hurt me. Alright, letâs get out of here first.â
But after taking two steps, Calvin found Hanna still standing there.
âWhatâs wrong?â Calvin turned to look at Hanna.
Hanna took a deep breath and clenched her fists. âMy⦠My feet were a little weak. I might be walking slower.â
Then Hanna moved as if she had used all her strength. But just after two steps, Hanna staggered and was about to fall.
Calvin strode forward, held Hanna, and then directly carried her up.
âHey!â Hanna exclaimed. âAre⦠Are you gonna carry me out?â
âOf course. If you go out by yourself, you may need more than one hour,â said Calvin. Then he strode out of the restroom.
Along the way, Hanna felt that many people were looking at them.
Hanna might blush and be embarrassed at ordinary times, but now she was still immersed in the previous fear.
When Calvin was about to reach the door of the bar, someone stopped him and said, âWhat? Are you gonna just leave after hitting someone? You canât leave here so easily todayâ¦â
But the next moment, that man was slapped by another man who hurriedly came over. âWhat the hell are you talking about? Apologize to Mr. Gunner immediately!â
The man who was slapped was confused. The other man already pressed his head and forced him to bow to Calvin. âMr. Gunner, my subordinate is an idiot. Please forgive him. T-Take care. Iâll apologize to you again afterward!â
That man looked terrified.
Calvin glanced at that man coldly and then walked out of the bar with Hanna in his arms.
Until then, the man who had stopped Calvin finally looked at the man who came later uneasily. âBoss, who is that Mr. Gunner?â
The boss also had some power, but when he faced Calvin just now, he was still so terrified. His subordinate had never seen him like this.
âThatâs the scion!â the man who was called Boss said worriedly. He thought, âSuch an incident happened in my bar. Will Mr. Gunner be angry about me?â
âThe scion?â That man was stunned for a second. He thought, âIn Strico, only the scion of the entertainment industry will be called that. Right, that one is also called Mr. Gunner!â
Thinking of this, that manâs body was covered with cold sweat. He regretted it so much that he stopped Calvin just now and even threatened him.
He thought, âIf Boss hadnât rushed over to stop me, maybe Iâ¦â
âWrite down the names of all those who made trouble today. Donât let them step into our bar again afterward,â said the boss.
âWhat if those people make trouble again?â asked the subordinate.
âIf they dare to make trouble again, they wonât be able to stay in Strico anymore!â said the boss fiercely.
Even he wouldnât let off those people since they made such great trouble in his bar, not to mention Calvin.
Hanna was carried into the car by Calvin and put on the passenger seat. âIâll drive you home.â
Hanna didnât seem to have come back to herself, and her body was still trembling slightly. After a while, she finally nodded.
Seeing this, Calvin didnât say anything more. He just drove quietly towards the community where Hanna lived.
Hanna lowered her head as if she was immersed in her thoughts. The scene of someone kicking the door in the restroom just now intertwined with the scene of people bullying her in college.
At that time, many people in the college thought she was a scheming woman because of Lorinâs words.
She was blocked in the restroom and some people put several snakes into it through the gap of the stall.
Although those snakes were non-toxic, they became Hannaâs nightmare.
Hanna screamed desperately and cried in embarrassment, but it didnât work. The door was still blocked by other people, and she couldnât kick the door open. In the end, Hanna didnât even know how she got through that time.
It was not until her throat became hoarse and she became exhausted that the door was opened, and more ridicule was waiting for her. Someone even took a camera to shoot her messy appearance.
They stood at the high point of morality as if they were judges and Hanna was the bad guy judged by them.
But for Hanna, they were the real bad people.
Hanna was an orphan. When she was a child, after her parents passed away, she experienced all kinds of difficulties and thought that she was strong enough, but what happened later in college really made her feel the viciousness of humanity.
Calvin didnât stop at the gate of the community as before. Instead, he drove directly into the community and stopped downstairs from Hannaâs condo building.
âHanna, youâre home,â Calvin called out to Hanna a few times, and then she finally came back to herself. She looked up at the scenery outside the window blankly and then hurriedly said, âThank you for driving me home. See you.â
Then Hanna opened the door, got out of the car tremblingly, and walked to the building step by step.
Calvin frowned slightly. He thought, âShe looks like she will fall at any time. It seems that she was really in great shock today.â
Calvin pursed his lips, unfastened his seat belt, and got out of the car. Then he ran quickly to Hanna.
âIâll send you to the door.â Even Calvin himself didnât know why he got out of the car.
Calvin thought, âIs it because she looks pathetic? But Iâm not a merciful pèrson. I have little pity. I wonât even frown if someone else dies in front of me. But why⦠Is it because sheâs my nominal girlfriend?â
Hanna looked at Calvin blankly. Her reason told her that she should say no. There was no need to bother him like this. She would get home after taking the elevator.
But what Hanna said was, âThank you. She wanted to have someone accompanying her. Then maybe the fear in her body would be reduced a little.
âLetâs go,â said Calvin. Then he went to the elevator with Hanna and pressed the button.to go upstairs.
After a while, the elevator came and the door opened. There was no one else inside.
