Chapter 255

When Rosalie was settling the bailing procedure for Lillian, Jonathan called her. “Are you in the police station?”

“What?” Rosalie was stunned for a moment and quickly realized that the driver should have told Jonathan.

Then, she replied, “Yes, I’m at the police station. Something happened to Lillian. I came to deal with the bailing procedure.”

Jonathan felt it was a little funny. “She wants you to bail her out? Why didn’t she ask Callum? Isn’t Callum her boyfriend?”

It was complicated because it was about Lillian’s privacy. Rosalie responded, “She has something on her mind. Anyway, I’m bailing her out now. I’ll hang up first!”

After saying that, Rosalie ended the call and went through the procedure for Lillian.

Jade was still cursing Lillian, reckoning that Lillian must have ulterior motives toward her boyfriend.

Lillian was so angry that she scolded Jade directly. After all, she had a boyfriend like Callum at that moment. Even if their relationship was temporary, Callum would not mind her occasionally taking some advantage of him. Lillian did not have to do anything for a man she had no feelings, for.

Sometimes, some women would rather blame every mistake on another woman than the man if they found something wrong.

Settling the bailing procedure, Rosalie and Lillian walked out of the police station. Then, they saw Jonathan walking over.

“Why are you here?” Rosalie was stunned.

“Come to pick you up.” Jonathan glanced at Lillian. She seemed fine and had nothing to worry about.

However, even if something happens, Callum must be able to deal with it.

“Since you’re done here, let’s go,” said Jonathan.

Rosalie nodded. “Then send Lillian back first.”

Lillian smiled awkwardly. “Thank you so much for today.”

Jonathan naturally took Rosalie’s hand and was about to step forward. At that moment, Jade and her boyfriend, Bradley Kane, came out of the police station.

Seeing Jonathan standing with Rosalie and Lillian, Jade was stunned. After all, a man like Jonathan’could easily attract others’

attention.

His tall figure was dressed in a formal suit. Jonathan had wide shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs. He was completely like a model with his handsome appearance. People would be amazed by his fine facial features when they approached Jonathan.

By only standing there, Jonathan would make people feel like he was a painting with an invisible elegance.

When Jade saw the hand-holding of Jonathan and Rosalie, she suddenly felt jealous. She wondered, “Is this man the boyfriend of Lillian’s friend? Lillian’s friend looks very ordinary. How did she find such a boyfriend?”

Jade vented her anger at Lillian toward Rosalie. Right then, she said to Jonathan with a hint of envy, “Hey, you’re this woman’s boyfriend, right? You have to keep an eye on your girlfriend. Otherwise, she’ll seduce others’ boyfriends like her friend did. After all, she will be influenced by the actions of those close to her.”

Lillian exploded in anger. She did not expect Jade to be shameless enough to say that to others casually. “What did you say? Jade Leroy, if you dare to talk nonsense again, I won’t let you go easily, even if I lose my job!”, “I’m not talking nonsense. Bradley said you seduced him!” While talking, Jade looked at her boyfriend beside her and said, “Tell her. Didn’t you say that?”

Bradley cowardly nodded. “Y-Yes, Lillian seduced me!”

Lillian wanted to rush over and slap him.

Rosalie was afraid that Lillian would suffer losses due to her impulsiveness. She hurriedly grabbed Lillian and said to Bradley, “You’re legally responsible for what you say now. Otherwise, you’re damaging others’ reputations. How about we return to the police station to see if we have a case.”

Bradley immediately trembled and shut up.

Jade was still cursing. Jonathan glanced at her lazily. “You’re really self-righteous. It’s not your turn to tell me what kind of person my girlfriend is. Who do you think you are?”

Jade’s expression suddenly became extremely gloomy. Jonathan’s words were like slapping her in the face.

Jade argued, “I-I’m just kindly reminding you. I’m afraid that you’ll be fooled by her.”

However, Jonathan did not bother to listen to her at all. Instead, he turned to Lillian. “Did you get into the police station because of a person like her? It seems that Callum doesn’t know about this. If he knows, this person won’t appear in front of you anymore.”

Speechless, Lillian looked embarrassed.

“Let’s go.” Jonathan lowered his head and spoke to Rosalie. Then, he headed down the steps with Rosalie. A black Bentley had stopped on the side of the road in front of the steps. Jonathan and the others got into the car.

Jade and Bradley were entirely ignored as if they were invisible.

The hatred on Jade turned into surprise when she saw the Bentley.

The car was not cheap. If it were a top-level configuration, the price would be even more unthinkable for ordinary people. Jade wondered, “What kind of identity does Lillian’s friend have?”

Besides, Jonathan’s glance at the end was cold and indifferent. It made Jade feel scared when she recalled it at that moment.

In the car, Rosalie asked Lillian what exactly had happened.

Lillian explained, “Actually, Jade and Bradley are both employees of our unit: Bradley and I have been on the same project team recently. He always spoke to me and flirted with me, but I refused. He still didn’t give up, so I called him to the exit passageway to warn him not to harass me anymore.”

Lillian talked about the whole thing. She thought it would be better after giving the warning, but did not expect Bradley to grab her after warning him.

Then, Jade appeared and scolded Lillian for seducing the former’s boyfriend.

No one in the company knew they were in a relationship.

Thus, it became a mess, and they went into the police station.

After hearing that, Rosalie was speechless. It was an unexpected disaster. However, Jade did not blame her boyfriend but vented her anger at Lillian.

“Aren’t you in a relationship with Callum? Why didn’t you ask Callum to bail you out?” Jonathan’s voice suddenly sounded in the car.
