Chapter 336
The Ceo’s Convict Wife
However, Rosalie was wearing it now, which made Fiona feel jealous.
âI was about to get you some clothes to change and it turned out that you had already changed your clothes,â Fiona said with a gloomy face. Then she took Calvinâs arm intimately and said, âLet me introduce you to each other, Calvin. This isâ¦â
âDonât bother. We know each other,â Calvin said.
Fiona thought Calvin only knew Jonathan, but she didnât expect that he also knew Rosalie.
Suddenly, Fiona panicked, but she comforted herself by thinking, âItâs alright. Rosalie didnât remember what happened years ago at all!
Since Calvin found me, it meant that Rosalie didnât tell him anything.
As long as I keep pretending to be the girl who saved Calvin when he was a child, I can get more than I expected.ââ
Rosalie noticed that Fiona was holding Calvinâs arm. She frowned slightly and thought, âTheyâre too close to each other, arenât they? After all, Fiona is married!â
Honestly, she hadnât seen her cousin-in-law since she went back to the Lopez family.
Calvin seemed to realize something and withdrew his arm from Fionaâs grip. Feeling a little embarrassed, Fiona forced a smile and said, âYou may not know, Rosalie, that I have divorced Ivan Jones.â
Ivan was Fionaâs former husband who worked as a blacksmith.
Being stunned, Rosalie thought, âDivorce? Iâm surprised.â However, she understood it when she saw Calvin, who was standing beside Fiona.
Fiona had long been dissatisfied with the fact that she married a blacksmith, and Calvinâs sudden appearance gave her the idea of divorce.
After all, Calvin could make an excellent husband for those rich ladies in Strico, let alone Fiona who came from a small town.
Besides, Calvin had always been trying to find Fiona, and he only took all his previous girlfriends as her substitute.
Thinking of this, Rosalie understood why Fiona wanted a divorce.
The weird thing was that Calvin treated Fiona no differently than he treated anyone else, and Rosalie thought that he even seemed a little bit distant from Fiona.
Although Fiona seemed to have great expectations for Calvin, it was up to Calvin whether her expectations could be met! âHow did you know Rosalie, Calvin? Did Mr. Youngblood introduce you to each other?â Fiona asked carefully.
âJust by accident,â Rosalie said. Then she said to Jonathan next to her, âIâm a little hungry, Jon. Shall we eat something nearby?â
âSure,â Jonathan said softly. He took Rosalieâs hand and said to Calvin and Fiona, âExcuse me.â
Calvin watched them leave in a daze and thought, âDidnât I already know they were in love and going to get married?
But why did I feel a sharp pain in my heart when I saw them walk together?â
He even felt suffocated when he saw her in a wedding dress today. She looked so pretty in that dress, but she was wearing it for another man.
Fiona looked at Calvinâs blank eyes and felt a little jealous. She had already known that Calvin knew Rosalie, and she could tell from his face now that he was trying to hold back something.
She thought, âDoes Calvin have a thing for Rosalie? No, it canât be possible!â
Fiona comforted herself in her heart, thinking, âAs the most powerful man in the entertainment industry, heâll never fall for a woman who once was in prison!
Rosalie is lucky enough to have Jonathan with her!
Besides, Calvin is convinced that I saved him when he was a kid, so Iâm the one that matters to him now!
Everything will be OK as long as I take every opportunity and hide the truth from Calvin for the rest of my life!â
âRosalie is so lucky to be with Jonathan. Did you see it? She came to the hospital in a wedding dress.
Are they getting married?â Fiona said, but she stopped when she realized that Calvin wasnât listening to her. His eyes were still fixed on the direction Rosalie left.
âWhat is he looking at?â Fiona thought, feeling more panicked.
Rosalie and Jonathan walked outside the room and went to a random diner Since Rosalie came here in a hurry, she didnât even have time for lunch, but she didnât feel hungry at all.
âSorry to have asked you to come with me. You havenât had lunch until now.â Rosalie looked at the food in front of her but had no intention of eating it.
âYou donât have to be sorry. I must stay with you since itâs not a small thing.â He glanced at Rosalie, who didnât even pick up her fork. âEven if you donât feel hungry, you should at least eat something.
Since you want to stay with Grandma for three days, you have to keep your strength up.â
Rosalie knew that Jonathan was right. She needed to eat something to keep her strength so that she could be energetic enough to stay with her grandma for the last three days before she was cremated.
Therefore, she lowered her head and ate the food slowly. However, she couldnât taste anything.
âIsnât it delicious? How about we go to another one?â Jonathan asked.
âNo need. Itâs not a matter of restaurant,â Rosalie said. She ate the food in a hurry as if she were completing some kind of task.
Jonathan didnât say anything and ate the food with her.
After finishing eating, he paid the bill and walked out of the diner with her. It wasnât until now that he asked, âArenât you happy to see Fiona be with Calvin?â
Hearing the sudden question, Rosalie was stunned for a while and said, âWhat made you think so?â
âBecause you seemed to be unpleasant when Fiona took Calvinâs arm.â He observed her reaction as he spoke.
It took Rosalie a while to figure out what Jonathan was talking about. âI wasnât being unpleasant. I just thought that as a married woman, Fiona was not supposed to take Calvinâs arm in such an intimate way. However, now I know that sheâs divorced so thatâs totally fine to me.â
âI canât believe that Fiona is the one Calvin has been looking for. Donât you think itâs too much of a coincidence?â Jonathan -said.
âYeah, I know,â Rosalie said. The next second, she seemed to have thought of something and said, âCalvin once said that I look like the one heâs been looking for. Well, I look a lot like Fiona when we were kids, so I guess I remind him of her.â
âMaybe.â Jonathanâs eyelashes trembled slightly. âAt least he wonât believe youâre the one heâs looking for anymore.â
