Chapter 343

The Ceo’s Convict Wife

'Nothing. Since it's what you want, I'll help you," Calvin said flatly.

'You're so nice to me, Cal," Fiona said.

Calvin's heart skipped a beat when he heard the word "Cal". Somehow, it sounded harsh to him when it came out of Fiona's mouth.

'You can call me Calvin in the future. Cal was just a nickname when I was a child," Calvin said. "Okay, Fiona answered obediently.

As a matter of fact, it was Rosalie who told Fiona about the name Cal. When they were still children, Rosalie returned home with her ragged dress and said that she had saved someone. No one in the family believed her words at all. They thought she was telling a lie just to cover up the truth that she was being naughty, and she even took a beating because of this.

But Fiona came to ask Rosalie who she had saved out of curiosity. Rosalie told Fiona what had happened and that the boy was named Cal.

Otherwise, Fiona wouldn't be able to replace Rosalie so smoothly when Calvin came to find Rosalie.

Of course, what was more important was that Rosalie had a high fever later. The hospital in the town couldn't cure her and she was transferred to Strico's large hospital for treatment.

After Rosalie was cured, she completely forgot that day.

At that time, no one cared about it. It was just a day's memory missing. For adults, it was nothing important at all, and Rosalie didn't even know she had lost a day's memory.

Fiona only knew about Rosalie's memory missing because she accidentally heard it from adults when she was a child.

Therefore, in the end, only Fiona knew what happened that day except for the little boy.

Fiona was thinking this was a chance for God to make up for her.

As for Rosalie, Fiona hoped that she never remembered any of this.

Lillian deliberately asked Rosalie out. Lillian asked, 'Is your grandmother's funeral over yet?" 'Yes.' Rosalie nodded.

'Did you see your father?" Lillian asked.

Rosalie shook her head. Even at her grandma's funeral, her father still didn't show up. Of course, no one could get in touch with him at all. Since he and her stepmother moved out of Strico, they seemed to have disappeared completely.

Of course, if she really wanted to know about his whereabouts, she would be able to find it out as long as she told Jon.

But she didn't want to know about it. For her, her father, stepmother, and Loretta were no longer her family.

In the future, maybe only Jon was her family.

Lillian was speechless about Rosalie's father. She asked, 'Are you going to mourn for your grandma?"

If Rosalie wanted to mourn for her grandma, she couldn't get married for a certain period of time. "Yeah, I will," Rosalie said. Although she was just a granddaughter and was regarded as an "outsider" according to some customs, for her, her grandmother meant a lot to her. So naturally, she wanted to mourn for her grandma.

"Then how long are you going to mourn?" Lillian asked.

"A year," Rosalie said.

'A year?" Lillian shouted in a low voice, "Then will your marriage with Jonathan be postponed?" Rosalie nodded and answered, 'I haven't told Jon about this yet. Let me talk to him tonight and sce what he thinks." But intuitively, she thought he would agree.

Because it seemed that he would agree as long as she asked.

Looking at Rosalie's haggard face, Lillian suggested, 'How about going to the mall? Callum asked me to accompany him to a meeting. He said that he ordered a set of clothes from the counter in this nearby mall.

Actually, Lillian didn't want to attend such meetings and banquets at all, but Callum always wanted to bring her with him.

The most annoying thing was that when she made excuses that she was busy with work or she needed to work overtime, he would smile and say that it didn't matter. However, later, she would receive calls from her superior and get told that she didn't have to work overtime.

Obviously, Callum had called the boss of her company.

When they arrived at the nearby shopping mall, Lillian took Rosalie to the counter where she was going to pick up her clothes.

The clothes that Callum chose were all first-tier luxury brands. Even his most common clothes cost tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars, which was quite common in this counter. After Lillian reported Callum's name, the shop assistant immediately smiled flatteringly. She took out the clothes and asked Lillian to try on them. If the clothes didn't fit, they could be altered on-site.

"Rosalie, wait for me here," Lillian said.

Rosalie nodded and answered, "Okay"

Rosalie was browsing things in the shop casually. At this moment, she suddenly heard a voice coming from the door of the counter behind her, "Calvin, will it cost too much for you to buy me clothes and bags here? I don't need such expensive things."

'Just pick whatever you like.' Calvin's voice sounded.

"Calvin, you're so nice to me." Fiona smiled sweetly.

'You saved me once. I should be nice to you," Calvin said and looked away. But when he saw the figure in the store, his body suddenly stiffened.

His eyes watered when he saw Rosalie's back.

Then, through the glass wall in front of Rosalie, Calvin's eyes met her eyes.

He was looking at her. Rosalie looked at Calvin in the mirror and could clearly feel that he was looking at her.

When she looked at Calvin like this, she couldn't help but think of the dream she had last night. She never saw the little boy in her dream clearly.

But in her dream, the experience of the little girl and the little boy, as well as the fact that the little boy was called "Cal", made her feel that the little boy in her dream seemed to be exactly Calvin. Fiona followed Calvin's gaze and saw Rosalie. She couldn't help but change her expression. Immediately, Fiona smiled and approached Rosalie, saying, "It's you, Rosalie. I didn't expect to meet you here."

Rosalie turned around and looked at Fiona, replying, "What a coincidence."

"Are you here to buy clothes?" Fiona said, "Calvin said he wanted to buy me some clothes and bags. Help me choose."

While saying this, Fiona held Rosalie's arm intimately.

Seeing this, others who didn't know the truth would think they were very close to each other.
