“For me, there are two most important women in my life. One is you and the other is Rosalie!” Calvin said frankly.

“What are you talking about? Have you forgotten that she and Jonathan-”

“That’s the past!” Calvin interrupted his mother, “Mom, I beg you not to talk anymore!”

He was afraid that every word his mother said was like a stab in Rosalie’s heart. That would make Rosalie further distanced herself from him.

He got closer to her after much difficulty. No matter what, he didn’t want to lose everything he finally had because of such an incident.
