Yan Shuyu was completely oblivious about all of these. Her focus was on what the boss had told her – that he had already “returned the item to its rightful owner”. Pained, Yan Shuyu abandoned all hopes of becoming wealthy overnight and redirected her attention on the following activities

Even though there was a shopping center close by where she lived that had both the theater and clawing machines that the kids were looking forward to, the boss was someone with higher requirements. He wanted to drive to a bigger and better shopping mall. Yan Shuyu did not object to that. She just pulled out her cellphone and said, “Oh, okay. Let me book the tickets first then. That way we won’t have to wait around. We can go straight to the movie, then lunch. The timing will be perfect~”

Zhou Qinhe was responsible for the driving and Yan Shuyu only needed to focus on booking tickets and picking out their seats. The two little kiddos yakked nonstop in the back seat about the movie they were about to watch. Everybody had their own role cut out for them, and they arrived at their destination harmoniously.

Yan Shuyu had on stilettos today and Boss Zhou, being the gentleman that he always was, naturally would not have missed that. As soon as they got out of the car, the boss voluntarily held onto both children. Yan Shuyu could be pretty by herself in her stilettos, and the four of them walked inside of the theater.

After the last time, Boss Zhou had already got this movie thing figured out. Not only did he pick up the tickets with Yan Shuyu’s cellphone, he even stood in line and bought them a popcorn set. Seeing the boss with the food in his hand from a distance, Yan Shuyu stood up happily and waited for… the ice cola that he bought. Zhou Qinhe handed over to her the entire bag and chuckled lightly, “The two cups on the left have no ice added.”

“No ice added?” asked Yan Shuyu but quickly realized what he meant by that. She first pulled out the two cups of room temperature cola. “One for each of your two kiddoes.”

Zhang Yuanjia had been to the theater with Yan Shuyu a few times already. She has the habit of not enjoying eating alone, so she’d buy him a popcorn set every time as well. As such, little kiddo Zhang Yuanbao skillfully inserted the straw into the cup of cola and was ready to go. On the other hand, Zhou Yi, who was with him, had a blank look on him. This was the first time this little young master, born into wealth, was going to a movie theater, and he had never even seen cola before today. He had no idea what to do with it in his hands.

Zhang Yuanjia voluntarily inserted the straw for him and gave him the advice from his own experience. “You always have popcorn when you go to a movie theater. When you are thirsty later on, you’d take a sip of this. It’s very good tasting.”

Looking up at the adults next to him, this little big brother proactively added, “But Mommy said this is junk food and if we have too many of them, they will stunt our growth. So we can’t have too much of them.”

The little male lead, under the guidance of the experienced little big brother, took a sip curiously. Then, after a habitual frown, his face lit up. “It’s delicious!”

Zhang Yuanjia, too, smiled with a sense of accomplishment, but he still reminded him again. “We are still young though, so we can only have half a cup. We shouldn’t exceed that amount.”

Zhou Yi listened to him solemnly and said, “Okay.”

As Zhang Yuanjia had already let him know of the essentials, Yan Shuyu, patted them in her usual carefree manner and said, “Okay, kiddos, it’s time to go inside. The two of you should hold hands with each other. That way neither one of you will get lost.”n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

The animation was 2 hours long and ended at exactly 12 o’clock, lunch time. Nevertheless, Yan Shuyu rubbed her belly before she looked down and asked Zhang Yuanjia and Zhou Yi, “Are you two hungry?”

The two little boys weren’t hungry at all, so Yan Shuyu suggested happily, “Great. Let’s go claw stuffed toys first.”

As for the boss’s opinion, she had conveniently ignored it. He’d agree with whatever she said anyway~
