Liviana’s POV

“Is everyone ready?” I asked through the link.

“Yes, your highness” they replied.

I took a deep breath as I closed my eyes.

I saw the guards and warriors all over the Lunar territory.

I tried checking for an empty path that we could sneak into.

Then, I found one.

I let everyone know which path we were going to take to enter Lunar.

I opened my eyes and my eyes glowed bright gold as Rainer stood beside me.

“Lead the way” I told him through the link.

Rainer gave me a nod as he went infront of me to lead everyone to cross the borders to Lunar.

My dad, grandpa and uncle Dante stood behind me and then the warriors were behind them.

At the very back was Axel and Rolan.

Rainer led the way as I kept checking the path we were going through.

Once we were in, Rainer prepared everyone to enter a secret passage.

“I’m going to the back with Axel and Captain Rolan to make sure that everyone passes through safely” I let everyone know but mostly Rainer, my dad, my grandpa and uncle Dante.

They nodded.

I passed through the warriors and went to the back.

Axel gave me a bow and I gave him a nod.

We watched as everyone passed through the passage.

I also kept checking what was happening inside the passage and infront.

We had a huge number of warriors.

Each and everyone were skilled and equipped for war.

After a while, everyone was able go inside the passage.

I looked up at the sky and the sun was already rising.

“Go in” I mind linked Axel and Rolan.

Rolan immediately went in.

“Go in, Axel” I mind linked Axel.

“You can go in inside first, Liviana” he insisted.

I rolled my eyes and just pushed him inside.

Axel forced himself not to laugh.

I shook my head at him in disbelief.

I went in after Axel and I faced the passage.

I extended my hand to the entrance and completely closed it with rocks using my powers.

Then Axel and I proceeded to walk through the passage.

I made my way through everyone to go to the front with Rainer since the back was already secured.

“The back is secured. How far are we from the palace?” I mind linked Rainer.

“A kilometer or two” Rainer told me.

I nodded.

We walked with torches since the passage was dark.

I don’t exactly know how long we were walking through the passage until Rainer suddenly stopped and turned to look at me.

“We’re almost there. Is everyone ready?” he asked through the link.

“Yes, captain” everyone replied.

Rainer looked at me.

“Are you ready?” he mind linked me.

I nodded.

“I am. Are you?” I asked him.

Rainer nodded.

Then, I turned to look at my men.

“I need everyone to be careful. Each and everyone of you needs to come back to Halo alive. I don’t intend on sacrificing anyone’s life in this battle” I told them through our link.

“Like we planned, find your way to me immediately when you’re wounded badly. I can’t afford losing anyone. I refuse to lose anyone in this battle” I reminded them.

“Yes, your highness” they answered.

My dad, my grandpa and uncle Dante looked at me with a worried expression.

I gave them a small smile before facing infront again.

Rainer stood beside me.

“I’m staying by your side no matter what happens” he mind linked me.

I looked at him.

“I don’t need you to look after me, Rainer. I need you to look after yourself” I told him.

“I can look after myself while I look after you” he told me.

I almost chuckled.

Rainer and I looked in front.

My eyes were already set to bright gold as we continued to walk.

Then, we reached the exit and Rainer opened it carefully.

I stepped out first.

It was the inside of the palace.

The weapons’ room.

“Take everything you can and destroy everything else. The rest will split into groups” I said through the link.

My dad, grandpa, uncle Dante, Rolan and Axel went to the front and warriors coming out of the passage lines behind them.

We split into teams in infiltrating the inside of the palace first.

It was still early in the morning so chances are that everyone was either still sleeping or is training early in the morning.

I closed my eyes to check the inside of the palace.

“50 in the 1st floor” I said through the link.

“51 in the 2nd including the former King” I added.

Luis Grey.

“43 in the 3rd including the King’s right hands and a woman” I continued.

Abe, Beau and Cassandra.

“And 20 in the 4th excluding the current King” I told them.

Luan.

They all looked at me for further orders.

“Grandpa and I will take the 1st floor. Dad and Uncle Dante will take the 2nd floor. Captain Rolan and Axel will take the 3rd floor and Rainer will take the 4th floor” I said through the link.

They nodded.

I took a deep breath as I looked at the door of the weapons’ room.

Then, I closed my eyes as I visualized the outside of the palace.

Every entrance and exit.

I opened my eyes as it glowed brightly.

The land beneath our feet shook.

Rocks from the outside surrounded the palace and sealed every door from the outside.

I could hear the screams of the people inside the palace.

“Now” I said.

Everyone made their move.

We were the first to go out.

I watched as the men inside were takem aback by our sudden appearance as they tried to alert everyone else in the palace.

But it was too late for them even before they could do anything.

We were more than a step ahead of them.

My men attacked everyone in the first floor.

They didn’t kill any of them.

If possible, they’d knock them out cold and cuff them with silver.

Some of the guards shifted to their wolves but my men remained in their human forms as they fought with them.

A pair of wolves made their way towards my direction to attack me but I quickly dodged them and lifted them up in the air.

Then, I slammed them in the wall making them whimper in pain and fall to ground injured.

It didn’t take us long to finish all of them.

“Go up and help the others. I’ll finish up here” I told everyone.

“Yes, your highness” they answered and rushed upstairs.

Grandpa stayed with me.

I used my powers to drag every guard to the side and entangled them with roots that came out from the cracks of the floor.

I could clearly hear the commotion going on outside of the palace walls as the other warriors and guards tried to make a way to get inside the palace.

I smirked.

Grandpa and I made our way upstairs and saw everyone still fighting.

Then, I saw that man.

Luis Grey.

My father was fighting against him.

I clenched my fists as I frowned.

My eyes glowed brightly as every guard I could see in that hallway was lifted off the ground and was slammed aggressively on the walls and fell to the ground unconscious.

Everyone turned to look at me and made way for me.

Then, I met eyes with the devil.

His eyes widened in shock as he looked at me.

It was like he had seen a ghost.

I chuckled as I lifted him off the ground.

My father stepped back.

I slammed Luis Grey on the wall.

He g*****d in painyand looked at me wide eyed.

“H-how is this possible? Y-you died 21 years ago” he stuttered.

I chuckled.

He thought I was my mom.

“Open your eyes properly, Luis Grey. Do I really look like Diana White to you?” I said mockingly.

His brows furrowed as he looked at me.

Then, realization hit him.

“Liviana…” he muttered.

“Hello, Luis” I said.

I smiled at him in a sinister way.

I saw a glint of fear in his eyes.

But it disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

“N-no. T-that’s not possible. I saw you fall off that cliff. Y-you’re dead. You’re supposed to be dead” he said.

“I’m supposed to be dead but I’m not” I said smugly.

“And you’re not supposed to live but you’re alive” I added as he fell to the ground and I held him by the neck.

“It’s quite interesting, isn’t it, your highness” I said mockingly.

Luis Grey looked at me with a glare and growled at me.

I squeezed his neck tighter as I frowned at him.

“Don’t you fcking growl at me” I said sternly.

“You killed Alpha Liviana that time. Not me” I said with gritted teeth.

“And that’s the worst mistake that you’ll ever make in your worthless life. I’ll make sure of it” I said tightening my hold on his neck as my eyes glowed gold.
