Liviana’s POV

I looked at myself in the mirror and gulped.

I was wearing a black split front solid bodycon dress and white allover glitter decor stiletto court heels.

I curled my hair into big waves and put on makeup for Luan and I’s dinner date.

We decided it would be best to have our date during the night instead of a whole day because of Luke.

Dad came in Crescent Moon yesterday so I’m more relieved that Luke is safe while I’m out.

My grandparents and Rainer will come in Lunar in a week to help get ready for the coronation before Christmas.

Atleast that’s the plan.

There was a knock on the door and Dad and Luke came in.

“Mommy!” Luke squealed excitedly as he ran to me and hugged my legs.

I crouched down and lifted him in my arms.

“Pretty mommy” Luke said as he held my face.

I blushed and smiled.

“Thank you, baby” I said and squeezed his cheeks lightly.

“Sweetie” Dad softly called as he looked at me.

I looked at him and smiled.

“You look beautiful as always” he said with a loving smile on his face.

“Thank you, dad” I said

Dad looked at me lovingly.

“Have fun on your ‘date’, okay?” Dad said.

I nodded.

“I will” I said and gave him a k**s on the cheek.

“Be home by 10” he added sternly.

I chuckled.

“No promises” I said gave him a wink.

Dad chuckled and took Luke from me.

“Behave while mommy is gone, okay, baby?” I said and gave Luke a k**s.

Luke nodded obediently.

“Yes, mommy” he said and gave me a k**s.

I smiled and we got out of the room after I grabbed my purse so they can see me off.

My heart thumped inside of my chest as we made our way down.

I haven’t been on a ‘date’ for more than 3 years.

What if I’m more boring than I already am?

What if I don’t look good enough for the date?

Or was I overdressed?

Am I?

All my worries disappeared when I saw Luan by the living room.

He was wearing a navy blue button down inside of a black suit.

His hair was styled neatly and there were a few buttons open in his shirt.

Luan turned to look at my direction and I saw how his eyes sparkled when he saw me.

I smiled and blushed.

“Wow” he muttered.

I could feel my face heating up.

“Close your eyes for a moment, Luan. I don’t think I’m liking the way you look at my daughter” Dad blurted out with a hint of warning.

I chuckled awkwardly as I nudged my father.

I’m sure he was kidding.

Atleast half kidding.

I felt like a teenager all over again.

Pa came out from the kitchen and saw me.

He smiled and made his way towards me.

“Gorgeous” Pa complimented and gave me a k**s on my temple.

I smiled.

“Thanks, Pa” I said shyly.

Pa glanced at Luan.

“Lucky dude” Pa said.

We chuckled.

Luan looked at me and walked towards me.

He held my hand and kissed it.

“You look beautiful, Liviana” he said making me blush even more.

“I already told her that. Might as well think of another compliment” Dad butt in.

Luan chuckled.

“Take care the both of you” Pa reminded.

We nodded.

We said goodbye and left the pack house.

Luan opened the door for me and we got inside the car and drove off.

Luan was smiling from ear to ear.

“Where are we off to?” I asked Luan curiously.

“It’s a surprise” he said and gave me a wink.

I chuckled and looked at the window.

“It’s really been a while, hasn’t it?” I suddenly said.

Then, I glanced at Luan.

Luan nodded.

“It has” he said and glanced at me with a smile.

“We missed a lot of dates in the past 3 years that we could’ve spent with each other” he said.

I nodded in agreement.

“Do you want to see something?” he said.

I raised my brow at him.

“See what?” I asked curiously.

Luan pointed at the compartment infront of me.

“Open that” he said.

I opened the compartment and saw a red notebook.

My brows furrowed curiously

“What’s this?” I asked confused as I took out the notebook.

“Open it” he said.

I slowly opened the notebook.

To my surprise, I saw different ideas and notes and on the very top, it said ‘date ideas for Liviana’.

I bit my lower l*p as I went through the pages.

There were pictures, locations, schedules, notes and all sorts of information about each and every date idea.

The ideas fit my interests and liking and mentions what should be avoided during the dates.

“When did you…” I said as I looked at Luan.

Luam glanced at me with a smile.

“I started it when we had our first date. I continued it even after you disappeared because I’d always hoped you’d come back” he explained.

“And you did” he said as he reached out for my hand on my lap and squeezed it.

I felt that same tingling feeling again.

One that only Luan can make me feel.

“Although now, I think I need to make another one. One that includes Luke as well” he told me.

I smiled.

I leaned in and gave Luan a k**s on the cheek.

“Thank you” I said blushing.

Luan smiled widely.

“Anything for you” he said.

Luan’s hand stayed on my hand on my lap throughout our ride.

I felt so happy being with him.

Then I realized how I haven’t done much for Luan even before.

That made me feel guilty.

I reminded myself to list down things I can do for him.

Even if it wasn’t my style at all.

I realized that Luan can’t be the only one carrying our relationship.

Or whatever we call us right now.

After a while, Luan and I ended up in the city.

Luan opened the door for me and I held on to his arms as we made our way inside of a tall building.

“Are we having dinner inside?” I asked Luan.

Luan looked at me.

“Maybe” he said.

I raised my brow at him.

We got in the elevator and Luan pushed the top button.

“This is your thing now? Mr. Mysterious?” I teased.

Luan laughed.

“You can put it that way” he said and winked at me.

I blushed.

We arrived at the top floor and the elevator door opened.

“Good evening sir and madam” a guy greeted us as we got out of the elevator.

“Reservation for two under Luan Grey” Luan said.

The guy looked at his list and then at us.

“Of course. Let me lead you to your seats, Mr. and Mrs. Grey” the guy said with a smile.

I flushed red.

Luan glanced at me teasingly.

The guy led us to the seats with beautiful city view.

I looked at it in awe.

“You like it, mrs?” Luan said as he pulled out a chair for me.

I nodded with a blush and sat down.

Luan sat across me.

I couldn’t help but admire the view.

I’ve seen many beautiful places in my life but I never knew how breathtaking a city view was.

What makes it even more special is the fact that I’m with Luan.

“It’s beautiful” I told him.

Luan smiled.

“Give me a moment” he said and stood up.

He planted a k**s on the top of my head and went somewhere.

I continued to admire the city view.

It was so perfect.

Definitely up to my alley.

Then, Luan came back and he handed me a bouquet of red roses.

“Luan” I said stunned as he handed me the bouquet.

Luan smiled at me and leaned in.

I looked up at him and he gave me a peck on the lips.

“I know it may not be something that’s your style but—” he said shyly but I cut him off.

“I love it, Luan. I really do. This whole dinner date idea. I love it” I said honestly.

Luan looked at me surprised.

“You do?” he said.

I nodded.

“I do. I really really do” I said.

Luan smiled and I got up from my seat to give him a k**s.

Luan looked like he won the lottery as he stood up.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and I gave him a k**s.

I didn’t even care if there were other people around.

I just wanted to let Luan know how much I appreciated his efforts.

He planned all of this with all his heart and even when I wasn’t the romantic type, I fell in love with this date idea.

Probably because it was Luan.

“Thank you” I told him.

“I’d do anything and everything for you. Always” Luan said and kissed my forehead.

I smiled.

Luan guided me back to my seat as a waiter came to us and took our order.

I just looked at Luan.

I thought the city view was incredible.

But looking at the person in front of me, I think the city view would come second.

Luan looked up with a smile and winked at me.

So this is love huh?
