Livianaâs POV
I finished my shower and got dressed before going out of the bathroom to see Luan and El still chatting by bed.
âIâm going down now. You both go on ahead and do whatever but I donât want to be disturbed with work. And yes Iâm talking about you, Luanâ I said eyeing Luan. He slightly frowned and pouted like a child.
I rolled my eyes with a chuckle and El tried not to laugh at him.
âA lot of Alphas will be coming. Adult ones. And theyâll probably recognize you as the prince at first glance unlike me when we first met so Iâd appreciate it if you stay unseen because I donât want to have to explain to everyone how I am mated to the prince of Lunarâ I said making Luan frown.
âWhy not?â he asked clearly not amused.
âSimply because I donât like it when others pry on my personal life. And the details of our bond is for you and I onlyâ I explained and Luan only grinned then nodded.
Now I can sense he liked what I said.
But Iâm sure that keeping our relationship from outsiders was beneficial for both of us.
If word breaks out that Iâm Luanâs mate, there will surely be a big commotion.
One event will surely lead to another.
âBehaveâ I warned and reminded Luan for the last time before I went out of my room and headed down.
I can see the guards from different corners of the pack house to ensure that nothing bad will happen.
They bowed their heads to me and greeted me as I walked to the meeting room.
Dante came out of the room and he smiled when he saw me.
âHeyâ he greeted softly as he approached me and pulled me in for a hug.
âGood morning, uncleâ I muttered making him smile.
âSo youâre calling me uncle now after I saw a boy in your room. Is this some kind of scheme to make me forget what I saw earlier?â he said accusingly and I only chuckled.
âIt is not. Anyway, are they all inside?â I asked and he nodded.
âYes. I was just about to call you upstairs actuallyâ he said and I nodded.
I stared at the double door for a moment before taking a deep breath as I put on my Alpha face.
âLetâs goâ I said and Dante opened the doors.
Everyoneâs head turned at my entrance and they all stood to acknowledge my presence while Edmond and Alex bowed their heads to me.
I reached me sit.
âYou may all sit downâ I said and thatâs exactly what everyone did and I sat down after they were all seated.
âIs everything ready?â I mind linked Edmond.
âYes, Alpha. Everything has been prepared in advanceâ he replied.
I turned my focus back on everyone in the meeting table.
âI have called for an emergency meeting here today to inform all of you than one, Crescent Moonâs traitor has beenâ¦punishedâ I said as my heart clenched a little.
âAnd two, we have managed to take im captivity a rogue that was part of the attackâ I said and everyone looked in anticipation.
âBefore I let the rogue in todayâs meeting, Iâd like to hear some updates first of the situation from your packsâ I said and everyone agreed.
The Alphas started to report what had happened im their pack for the past few days after our first meeting.
I listened carefully to the statements and made mental notes about the important details in their reports.
It all went by smoothly and I also made my own statement of what had happened for the past few days in my packs.
Of course, I went into detail about the attack as Edmond and Alex helped me since they were present inside the pack while I was at school.
âVery well. I wonât let this drag on for longerâ I said as we had finished conversing.
I glanced at Alex and he nodded in understanding before he made his way out of the room.
âNow, I know that you all must have a lot of questions for the rogue and you canât wait to beat the hell out of him to get as much information as you canâ I started.
âBut I ask of you to not touch him or do anything elseâ I said sternly and tge door to the meeting room opened as Alex came in with the rogue and another pair of guards.
The rogue was in chains. He had one on his necks, hands, torso and feet but he growled and snarled at the Alphas in the room still.
The Alphas didnât accept his disrespectful action lightly as their own growls resonated inside the room making the rogue cower in fear.
The rogue stood just beside me as a guard separated us from each other.
âI present to you one the rogues that attacked Cresent Moonâs territoryâ I said as I threw a glare at the rogue.
The rogue glanced at me angrily and the next thing I know is he tried to pounce on me but I was faster than heâd ever be as I brought him to the ground in one swift move.
âChill out, dummyâ I said with a warning chuckle as I held him by the neck.
âWe canât show the other Alphas how I can easily rip out your throat, remember? Weâre trying to make a presentation hereâ I said as I tightened my grip on him.
âJust kill me now!â he growled at me and I smirked in disbelief.
âIâd love to. But not todayâ I said as my eyes glowed gold and I let him go before standing up and dusting myself.
The guards took hold of the rogue as he now kneeled on the ground.
âSorry about that. Heâs a crazy oneâ I said with a chuckle but I can sense how tensed everyone still is then Dante held me by the shoulder.
âYour eyes, Livianaâ he whispered and thatâs when I realized that my eyes were still glowing gold instead of its natural blue.
I closed my eyes for a moment and breathed in a deep calming breath to calm down.
I can feel that same powerful aura and power growing inside of me.
My eyes returned to their natural blue and I felt everyone express their relief.
How scary do I even look with gold eyes?
I wasnât exactly built like a âbig bad Alphaâ but everyone still feared me.
I guess I had that type of energy.
The power that I hold is truly something.
âNowââ I tried to start but an Aloha suddenly stood up from his cheat and then he looked at me in shock and fear.
âMy pack is under attackâ
