Livianaâs POV
âI seriously canât take Grey anymoreâ Blake cringed. Heâs been complaining for I donât know how many times now.
Luan has really come through with his âcourtshipâ these past few weeks.
Heâs been coming to the pack house every morning to try and pick me up with his car but I always leave in my motorbike anyway so El is the one who rides with him.
He then joins us for lunch and buys me random food that I always end up giving to Katie because I refused to eat it.
Then, he waits for me to finish my classes and uses his car to follow me back home while he drops off El.
He also stays in the pack house inside my office and helps me with the paperworks even when I continue to ignore him.
Luan only leaves when I go back to my room after I finished work.
Then he repeats the cycle over and over again.
Talk about effort.
âYouâre just jealous that itâs not youâ Katie teased her brother. Blake glared at his sister.
âYeah rightâ he scoffed and pouted before turning to me.
âIâm better than him, right, Livi?â he said suddenly acting cute. I looked at him weirdly and Katie burst out laughing.
âAs if! Did you already forget what you did? Also, youâre the main reason why Luan and Liviana are in this situation right nowâ Katie reminded Blake. He frowned and looked at me apologetically probably remembering what he did.
But I donât blame Blake.
Not at all.
He didnât tell Luan to leave me and shut me out now, didnât he?
It was Luanâs choice and Luanâs mistake.
âYou two should probably stop. You might end up fighting for real if you both continueâ I told them and they did just that.
Luan returned from the bathroom and sat next to me silently while Blake and Katie bickered here and there about random stuff.
We finished eating lunch and Luan walked me to my classroom. We didnât talk on the way nor did I look at him although he usually talked to me when weâre together even when I ignore him.
âIâll wait for you after your classâ he said and gave me a forced smile then left.
Luan seems a bit gloomy today.
My classes started again and I focused on the lesson instead of thinking about Luan.
My afternoon classes ended in a flash and true enough, Luan waa waiting for me outside of my room.
But he wasnât alone.
There were a bunch of human girls surrounding him but he wasnât acknowledging them.
My brows furrowed.
I suddenly felt the urge to pull their head out and Amaris wanted to simply bite their heads off.
Violent, I know.
I coughed to get their attention and they all turned to look at me with an eyebrow raised and a sassy look.
âOh youâ one of the girls said and I recognized her as the human bully who wears a sht ton of makeup and wear clothes that barely covers her body.
âHi, baby. I was waiting for you. Letâs go?â Luan suddenly said but the girl held onto his arm.
âBut Luan, we were supposed to work on our project together, remember?â the girl said as she bat her eyelashes at Luan.
Desperate btch.
Luan pulled his arm away from him.
âWe can work on that during classesâ he said with a frown. The girl pouted.
âDonât you want to spend time with me? Say after class even?â she said as she ran her point finger on Luanâs arm.
My b***d boiled.
Fck it.
I grabbed her by the wrist as I glared at her.
âDonât fcking touch himâ I warned and pulled Luan away from there.
I huffed in frustration when we got to the parking space outside.
âWho was that?â I asked Luan with a glare. He shrugged.
âI forgot her name. We have economics together and got paired up to do a project togetherâ he shrugged but then a grin formed on his face and I looked away from him.
âDonât even dare, Luan. I swear Iâm going to keep ignoring you for a whole yearâ I warned and he laughed.
I didnât have a problem with Luan being ogled at by other women before because one, I didnât really care much then and two, I donât see him enough in school to witness it.
But now that I actually confirmed that there are in fact girls who try to make a move on him, I just want to rip their hair out.
As usual, El was waiting for us by Luanâs car.
âHey, lovebirdsâ he greeted with a teasing smile. Everyday, he calls us different names and sometimes I just want to kick him for it.
âTake my motorbikeâ I said and threw him the key which he caught with a raised brow.
âI need to talk to Luanâ I explained and he nodded with a grin.
âOkayâ he said and gave us a wink. I shook my head in disbelief and turned to look at Luan.
âLetâs go?â he said and I nodded.
Luan opened the door for me and then he got in the driverâs seat and we drove away from school and to the pack house.
I looked outside the window for a moment before deciding to speak up since thatâs why Iâm here.
âHow long has she been like that to you?â I blurted out as I looked at him. He glanced at me with a chuckle.
âSince the first dayâ he said making me frown.
I could already think of dozens of ways to hurt her.
âHow come you never mentioned it to me?â I asked annoyed.
âBecause I donât care about her and her antics. I only ever talk about one girl anywayâ he said. I raised a brow at him.
âWho?â I asked sounding a bit too vex to my liking making Luan chuckle.
âItâs you, silly. Who else would I talk about except my mateâ he said and glanced at me with a wink making my stupid heart skip a beat.
I gulped and looked away.
Damn it.
Seriously, Liviana?
We arrived at the pack house and got out of Luanâs car and inside the pack house.
âLivi! Luan!â Ellie squealed and ran to us. I caught her in my arms and gave her a peck on the cheek.
âHi, little one. How was your day?â I asked her.
âIt was greatâ she said with a big smile then turned to look at Luan before opening her arms to him.
Luan chuckled and took Ellie from me.
âSweet girlâ Luan said as he pinched Ellieâs cheeks and she giggled. I smiled.
Since Luan has been spending a lot of time here in the pack house, the people here are starting to be close to him as well because he doesnât act all superior anymore. But everyone still shows him great respect as the prince.
âIâm going up firstâ I said and Luan nodded.
I went to my room and quickly showered before changing into a pair of lounge wear then made my way to my office.
When I got there, Luan was already going through some of the paperwork and I sat on my swivel chair before doing the same.
After a couple of minutes, the telephone rang and I answered it.
Knowing that it will be a long call, I transfered the call to my phone and excused myself to which Luan nodded to.
I talked about some business matters with the pack lawyer over the phone and I was right that it was quite a long call.
When I came back to my office, I saw Luan resting his head on the table with some papers still on his hands as he slept.
I chuckled and went closer to him.
He looked so peaceful sleeping.
âThank youâ I whispered and smiled.
