Liviana’s POV

“So, what’s the plan?” I asked Luan as he drove.

“You’ll see” he said with a mischievous smile. I chuckled.

“You have to atleast tell me if my clothes are appropriate for the destination” I said and he was the one who chuckled this time.

“Not really but you’ll be just fine” he said and winked at me making me slightly blush again.

What’s wrong with me?

Luan has been exceptionally…attractive these days.

Maybe it was the mate bond.

“Oh its just you, hun” Amaris butt in.

“Oh please, Amaris. It’s probably you” I blamed her.

“Yeah right. Keep lying to yourself, Liviana” she said.

“I am not!” I denied.

“Uhuh” she mocked with a grin and cut the link.

I bit my lower l*p as I looked out of the window in embarrassment.

Was it really just me?

I mean, I’ve never really felt like this towards anyone.

Can’t you tell by my inexperience with my mate’s affection towards me?

“Did you have breakfast before we left?” Luam suddenly asked.

I shook my head.

I forgot about it since I was too nervous about the whole date.

“Did you?” I asked back and he shook his head.

Then, Luan glanced at me.

“Let’s stop by for breakfast, shall we?” he said and I agreed.

It’s going to be a long day, breakfast sounds like a good idea.

We stopped by a cafe and Luan even opened the door for him.

If it was any other day, I would’ve simply got out but since it was a date, I just let it all happen naturally.

We walked inside the cafe and went to the counter.

I saw how the girl in the counter ogled over Luan and I just wanted to pull her hair out for that.

“What do you want for breakfast?” Luan asked me as he ignored the girl.

“A cup of coffee and a sandwich sounds good” I told him and he nodded.

“Do you mind if you get the seats?” he said and I glanced at the girl first and eyed her for a moment then looked at Luan again and nodded.

“Sure thing” I said and went to find a seat for two.

I found a perfect spot and sat there as I waited for Luan.

I kept watching as the girl in the counter looked at Luan as she tried flirting with him but Luan simply ignored him.

“Jealous much?” Amaris popped in again.

“Shut it, Amaris” I said.

It’s like all the possessiveness from Amaris passed on to me.

We were going to argue more when suddenly, there was a guy standing in front of us.

“Hi, miss. Is this seat taken?” he asked as he smiled at me. I almost frowned.

Seriously?

“The seat is taken” I said blankly and the guy pouted which made me cringe.

“Come on, now. I just want to get to know a pretty lady like you” he said and winked at me.

I almost wanted to growl at him.

“Back off, pal. She’s mine” Luan finally came and he did not look impressed by the guy.

The guy eyed Luan up and down and smirked.

“Who are you?” the guy asked and Luan smirked.

“I’m her—“

“Boyfriend” I cut Luan off.

They both looked at me stunned.

“Now, get lost” I said and the guy cleared his throat in embarrassment before leaving.

Luan put down the tray of food with a huge grin on his face.

“I’m your boyfriend?” he said in a teasing manner and I looked away in embarrassment.

Luan chuckled and held my chin.

“You look really cute when you blush, you know that?” he said making me blush even more as he laughed.

Damn it, Liviana.

What has gotten into you?

“W-we should eat” I stuttered as I bit my lower l*p in embarrassment. Luan chuckled and nodded.

We talked about some casual things instead of talking about pack matters and things like that.

We figured out that we shared some similar interests too.

I really wouldn’t have thought that we’d come to this.

We were actually getting along well and talking like…like a couple would.

There was that weird feeling in my stomach. It was like something was tickling me inside.

But for some reason, it felt right.

Everything felt right.

We felt right.

“I’m glad” Luan suddenly said.

“For what?” I asked curiously.

“I’m glad that we can do this together” he said with a genuine smile. I smiled too.

“I am too” I admitted and his smile widened even more.

“I know we still have a long way to go, Liviana. But I’m not planning on giving up now. Or ever” he said and my heart started pounding uncontrollably.

What is this feeling?

“Stop doing that” I muttered and he tilted his head to the side curiously.

“Doing what?” he asked innocently.

Stop making my heart beat uncontrollably.

“Nevermind” I said and looked away withyet another red face.

Luan chuckled and we finished up our food.

We got out of the cafe and back to the car then continued our little escapade.

“Do you have any other date ideas you want to do?” Luan asked. I shrugged.

“I don’t really have any. Do you?” I asked him back.

“I have a few” he shrugged.

“So you’re into this stuff?” I asked curiously. He shook his head.

“No but I think I am now because of you” he said and glanced at me with a smile making my heart falter.

Oh goddess, help me.

“You really know your stuff huh” I said and he chuckled.

“Being a flirt, you mean?” he said and I nodded.

“Not really. I only ever flirt with my girlfriend” he said and gave a wink my way.

Oh for the goddess’ sake.

He seriously needed to stop doing that because I don’t know what I’m literally feeling right now.

The ride went great.

Luan kept flirting with me on the way and I was simply a blushing mess.

I seriously needed to stop acting like a middle schooler in her first relationship.

After more than an hour of driving, we arrived at a place that brought back so many good memories to me.

“An amusement park?” I said as I got out of the car and looked at the sight of the ferris wheel. Luan nodded.

“It’s my first time in one. How about you?” he asked.

“My dad brought me here for my 7th birthday” I told him and he smiled.

“Did you enjoy it?” he asked and I nodded.

“I absolutely loved it” I said.

“Let’s go?” he said and I nodded.

We went to buy tickets then got in the amusement park.

Luan looked around with a smile on his face and I found myself smiling at the sight of him.

“Let’s go have fun” I said and reached out to hold his hand with all the strength I mustered up in me.

Luan was surprised with my gesture but he smiled widely and intertwined our hands together.

“Let’s go” he said excitedly.

We ended up going on in the different rides in the amusement park.

Luan was a complete coward when it came to the extreme rides and I basically had to drag him to join me.

If dragging didn’t work, I’d tell him that I’ll probably have to seat to another male the whole ride which he didn’t like so he had to join me.

It was really fun.

I couldn’t remember the last time that I felt so free. So full of life.

Like I had no responsibilities whatsoever.

Although I knew that it would only be for today, I still wanted to make the best of it. The best of what Luan and I have.

“Are you sure you’re still okay?” I asked Luan with a teasing smile as we got out of one of the extreme ridea. He nodded but his face said otherwise.

I chuckled.

“Come on. Let’s take a break for a moment” I said and pulled him to bench then bought water for the both of us.

“You look like you were dropped from 260ft” I teased and he eyed me with a frown.

“I was” he said and I laughed.

After a moment of laughing, I stopped and saw him just staring at me.

“What?” I asked as he stared at me.

“I like it when you laugh” he said with a smile and I blushed furiously.

Damn this man and his sweet remarks.
