Livianaâs POV
âHey! There are mate less wolves in the same car. We would appreciate it if you donât act all lovey dovey around us. Itâs an eye soreâ Abe complained.
I chuckled.
âPiss off, Abe. Just mind your own businessâ Luan told him making Abe pout.
Beau and Cassandra laughed.
Weâre currently in the back seat of the car while the Haymes siblings sat on the passenger seats.
We left really in the morning and ended up sleeping inside the car.
Luan and I were basically cuddling each other in the back and I guess that annoyed Abe.
I found it funny.
I never expected to find myself in the kind of situation where Iâm being to lovey dovey with a partner.
Let alone leaving my pack to attend a party.
But, here I am.
Miles and miles away from home heading to strangersâ territory.
âDonât mind himâ Luan whispered to me.
I chuckled.
âDid you think I was really paying attention to Abeâs whining?â I said.
âHey! I can hear you loud and clearâ Abe complained.
We laughed.
The trip went a little while longer.
Until finally, we arrived at our accommodation.
Yes, accommodation.
Not the palace.
I insisted that I didnât want to be inside the palace and my uncle felt the same way.
He strictly told my mate, or well threatened Luan to find another place to stay the night after the party or else he wonât let me come no matter what.
So thatâs what Luan and I did.
We checked in a fancy hotel in the area.
The Haymes siblings on the other hand, had no choice but to stay in the castle.
âI just called my makeup artist. Sheâll be here by 3 to fix us up for the party at 8â Cassandra said.
I nodded in understanding.
5 hours seem an awfully long time to prepare.
But what do I know?
âFirst, letâs have lunch. We barely had anything for breakfast since we left so earlyâ Beau suggested and everyone agreed.
We checked in and went to the restaurant inside of the hotel for lunch.
âAre you hungry?â Luan asked as he walked beside me and held me by my waist.
âI definitely amâ I told him and he chuckled.
âThen itâs a must that we eat as soon as possible. I wouldnât want my babies getting hungryâ he said.
My brows furrowed at Luan.
Did I hear that correctly?
âBabies? As in plural? Babies?â I repeated and he nodded.
I raised a brow at him but then he reached out to to me with his other hand and gently rubbed my belly with a smile.
âOur babyâ he said with a wide grin.
My jaw almost dropped to the floor.
I immediately hit his hand away and glared at Luan as he laughed hysterically.
âThereâs no baby there!â I said with a frown.
Luan chuckled.
âWe never knowâ he said with a shrug.
I gave him a âwhat the actual fckâ look.
I do not have the time and energy for a baby right now.
âStop doing that. This isnât exactly the perfect time to have pupsâ I told him.
Luan sigjed and pouted.
âWhy not?â he asked like a little kid.
âYou already know why. You should know whyâ I said and he only sighed.
I do like kids.
Thatâs why Iâm extremely fond of Ellie.
But I personally do not think that Iâm ready to be a mother just yet.
I mean, come on?
I havenât even graduated high school just yet.
I canât have a pup right now or anytime soon.
The poor little being will only suffer because of the current situation her mother is in.
We ordered our lunch and talked about royal matters once more.
We recalled all the things they told me from yesterday over dinner when we were doing âprincess lessonsâ.
Ay this point, Iâll be able to to memorize everything word for word.
After lunch, we went to Luan and Iâs room since the Haymes siblings wanted to stay with us longer.
âIâm going to take a napâ I told Luan.
âSure, baby. Do you want me to join you?â he asked softly.
âItâs okay. You can stay here with your cousins. I just need more sleepâ I said and he nodded.
Luan gave me a k**s on the forehead and I went to the bedroom to take a nap.
I felt restless.
I couldnât sleep completely.
I guess I was more anxious than I thought I was.
So much for being the fearless Alpha.
Well, itâs not really tgat Iâm like scared SCARED.
Itâs just that, I have this really bad feeling about something.
I sighed.
I took a nap for about an hour.
Then, I woke up and took a long shower in the bathroom to freshen up and wore an oversized button down polo.
There was a knock on the door and it opened revealing Luan.
âHeyâ he greeted softly.
âHiâ I said and he came in.
âThe make up artist is here for you guys. Cassandra is getting prepped nowâ he told me and I nodded in understanding.
I guess itâs almost time.
âCome here for a momentâ Luan said as he sat down the edge of the bed.
I went to him and he gently pulled me to sit on his lap.
âAre you okay?â he asked.
I cupped Luanâs face and gently smiled.
âI am. Iâm just a little anxious, thatâs allâ I said.
Luan buried his face on my neck and placed gentle k****s on my jaw to my neck to my shoulder.
âI would never let anything bad happen to youâ he whispered to me.
âI knowâ I said with with a smile and leaned my head on Luanâs shoulder.
Luan held my face as he stared at me.
âI love you, Liviana. You know that right?â he suddenly said. I smiled.
âOf course, I knowâ I said and leaned in to give him a peck on the lips.
Luan smiled.
âLetâs goâ I finally said and got up from Luanâs lap then pulled out of the bedroom with me.
When we got out to the living room, I immediately saw a bunch of stuff scattered around the room to which I assume are the things weâll need to get ready.
âHey, Liviâ Cassandra greeted when she saw while sheâs getting her makeup done.
Everyone else turned to look at me.
Even the make up artist and her staff who by the way are actually humans.
âGood afternoon, sleeping beautyâ Abe teased and I rolled my eyes with a chuckle.
Luan sat beside the twins and pulled me to sit on his lap instead of beside him.
âYo. This two are at it againâ Abe started to whine again making the 4 of us laugh.
âIf youâre so jealous, you might as well set off to find your own partnerâ I told him.
Abe frowned.
âAs if it was that easyâ he said.
âWho knows? She might be at the party tonightâ Beau said.
âDonât give me too much hopeâ Abe said with a sigh.
We chuckled.
I decided to give my uncle another call. I already sent him texts and also called him a few times since we left.
I excused myself and went out of the hotel balcony and dialed Danteâs number.
He immediately picked up.
âHiâ I greeted.
âHey, princess. How are you? Is everything okay? Did anything happen?â he asked worried.
I chuckled.
âIâm fine, uncle. I just wanted to tell you that the people doing our makeup are actually humans and theyâre actually here nowâ I said.
I tried to update him as much as I can so he wouldnât worry too much and get himself in trouble.
âThatâs betterâ he said.
âBy the way, whereâs Luan?â he asked.
Every time I call, he asks that.
âHeâs in the living room with everyone. Iâm in the hotel balcony right now to talk to youâ I told him.
âOkay but please, Liviana, in the party, donât go anywhere without Luan. Just always stick to his sideâ he reminded me for the nth time.
âYes, donât worryâ I said.
Then, there was a moment of silence.
âCome back safely, okay Liviana?â he said and I smiled.
âI will. Donât worry too much. Your niece isnât a pushoverâ I assured him.
âOkay. Call me before you guys leave to go to the partyâ he said.
âI will. Talk to you later, uncleâ I said.
âOkay, princess. Iâll waitâ he said and we ended the call.
Then, I went back to the living room and sat beside Luan.
âHow was the call?â Luan asked.
âIt was fine. Uncle did ask where you were again and just reminded me of a few thingsâ I said with a shrug.
âI think your uncle is getting quite fond of me now, is he?â Luan said with a chuckle.
âI donât think he has much of a choiceâ I said and laughed.
Luan slightly pouted.
âLivi, I think you got your vibe from your uncle. You guys radiate the same energyâ Abe pointed out.
I chuckled.
That may be true.
Pa didnât give off a big bad Alpha energy when he was around but I did.
âYeah, probablyâ I said with a chuckle.
Cassandra took longer than I thought possible.
No wonder they had to come hours before the party.
It was finally my turn and I sat down on the stool in front of the make up artist while everyone watched.
The make up artist started to do my makeup as I sat still on the stool.
I wasnât the biggest fan of makeup.
I donât even wear makeup in a day to day basis.
I just felt like I didnât need to.
I mean, why would I?
In the middle of my makeup session, the boys left to get ready while Cassandra stayed with me.
âYou already look gorgeous, Liviâ Cassandra complimented.
I smiled slightly.
Finally, my hair and makeup was done and the makeup artist turned the stool to face the mirror.
I was in awe.
I could barely recognize myself.
I guess, this is the power of makeup.
âYou look beautiful, missâ the makeup artist complimented and I gave her a small smile.
âShe really does, does she?â Cassandra said with a wide smile.
She looked so proud.
âNow, letâs slip into our outfits, shall we?â Cassandra said and nodded.
We went to Luan and Iâs bedroom where I slept earlier while the other boys are in the other bedroom getting ready.
Cassandra and I took out our gowns from a big box and got dressed.
We helped each other with the back zippers.
My gown was black and it had sheer long sleeves and a plunging neck line.
The gown was puffy and it sparkled beautifully.
My hair was curled into waves and styled in a half up half down braid with some diamond hair accessories to finish the look.
âOh my goddess. You look absolutely breathtaking, Liviâ Cassandra said in awe.
I smiled shyly.
âAnd you look stunning, Cassandraâ I returned the compliment.
Cassandra giggled.
âCome on, letâs go. Iâm sure the guys are already out. Theyâll definitely swoon over youâ she said and began to pull me out of the room.
We got out of the bedroom.
âGuys, lookâ Cassandra immediately said and everyone turned to look at us.
As soon as their eyes landed on me, their jaw dropped.
Luan looked like he was in a daze tho.
He was already wearing his white suit and his hair was styled neatly.
âWow. So this is another side to Liviana Crestâ Beau said.
I chuckled.
âLuan, youâre one lucky dudeâ Abe said.
Luan made his way to me and wrapped his arms on my waist with a low growl.
âMineâ he said and I chuckled.
âCalm downâ I whispered to him. He took deep breaths as he took in my scent.
I guess he was being his possessive self again.
Itâs going to be even worse since weâre marked and mated to each other now.
After that I called my uncle quickly and then we made our way to the palace in a limousine sent from the palace.
Luan held me by the waist the entire time.
âYou look to beautiful for your own goodâ Luan mind linked me.
I chuckled.
âDo I pass the Princess visual test?â I asked.
âYou surpassed it, my love. Youâre the standard nowâ he replied.
I blushed and nudged him slightly.
After a while, we arrived at the palace.
The Haymes siblings went out first and then Luan and I came out.
Luan held on to my waist the whole time as we made our way inside.
The knights and helpers bowed their heads low as we entered.
âYour majestyâ a man in a tux by the door said and bowed to Luan.
Luan simply gave
I took a deep breath and the doors were opened.
The different scents of high ranking wolves hit my nose.
âItâs timeâ Luan whispered to me.
I nodded and kept my head held high.
Luan then leaned in and gave me a k**s on my temple as he we stepped inside and saw everyone below us in the ballroom.
So it begins.
