Chapter 2428
Married at First Sight
Serenity slept until she woke up naturally, and it was already dawn.
Before she looked at the time, she thought it was still dark.
After she took the mobile phone from the bedside table and checked the time, she realized that she
slept until the next morning.
The newlywed husband next to her got up early, and she knew without asking that he was preparing a
loving breakfast for her downstairs.
She had been sleeping since the evening and hadnât woken up until the morning. As soon as she woke
up, she was hungry.
But after sleeping for such a long time, she was in a particularly good spirit at the moment.
She didnât stay in bed, she sat up and was about to get out of bed, when she suddenly found someone
at the end of the bed, it was her nephew, Sonny.
Serenity was dumbfounded, how could Sonny be in her room?
Seeing Sonny sleeping at the end of the bed without a quilt, and also changing the suit he wore
yesterday, Serenity guessed that he might have come in after Zachary got up, and then wanted to wait
for her to wake up, but he fell asleep again by himself.
Serenity crawled to the end of the bed, trying to pick up her nephew and put him to lie down, but just as
she picked up Sonny, Sonny woke up.
Opening his eyes and seeing it was his aunt, Sonny softly called out: âMy aunt.â
Then, he put his arms around Serenity.
âDoes Sonny still want to sleep?â Serenity hugged him and asked.
âNo more sleep; Iâm awake. I missed you, and I came to see you, Auntie. My uncle said that you were
sleeping, so let me keep an eye on you. I had no idea what was going on and fell asleep as well.â
After Sonny finished speaking, he slipped out of Serenityâs embrace, and said to Serenity with wide
eyes: âAuntie, is drowsiness contagious?â
Serenity smiled, âMaybe a little bit, did you go to bed very late last night?â
Sonny touched his head embarrassingly, and said: âI donât know when I fell asleep, I just remember
that I climbed on the uncle Kevinâs lap, and uncle Kevin hugged me, and I have no memory after that
gone.â
When Sonny woke up, he was on the bed. Although he was a frequent visitor of Wildridge Manor, but
he didnât see his mother when he woke up, so his instinctive reaction was to find his aunt.
He ran to knock on the door, and his uncle Zachary opened it for him.
Zachary said that he would go downstairs to make breakfast for Serenity and asked Sonny to wait in
the room for his aunt to wake up, but he could not disturb his aunt or wake her and had to wait for her
to wake up by herself.
Serenity laughed and said, âYou donât even know when you fell asleep.â
Sonny: âAuntie, are you still tired? Do you still want to sleep?â
Serenity: âIâm not tired, Iâm not sleepy anymore. Iâm going to wake up. If you want to sleep, you can
stay with me for a while. Itâs still early.â
But it was 7 oâclock in the morning, which was really early.
Many people who went to work had not yet gotten out of bed.
Serenity was used to get up early.
Sonny asked: âIâm not going to sleep anymore, Auntie, when are we going home?â
Serenity: âDo you miss your mom?â
Sonny nodded.
Serenity got off the bed and said: âToday you have to stay here with me for a day, and go back home
with me tomorrow, or will I send you back home?â
