Evan was still helping Grandma clean the stone chair. He didnât bother to wipe the chair he wanted to
sit on.
Evan said, âGrandma is a scholar. A scholar can know the world without going out.â
Grandma May looked at him sideways and said with a smile, âStop flattering me and tell me whatâs
wrong with Abby?â
âShe is very good. I never said she was not good. I also tried to like her. I tried to cultivate a relationship
with her. However, my relationship did not progress as much as hers did. She went all the way to find
me in order to settle the account. She said I was treating him like a monkey. I was wronged. I really
tried hard to love her, but I just didnât fall in love.â
Evan said it innocently. As he was still eating his barbecue, he didnât stop talking.
âGrandma, she is the one that you like. I admit that she is very good, and she is a perfect match for me
in every aspect. I donât hate her either. Even when I am with her, I always feel a little less passionate.
After a while, I can definitely tell you that there is no way I can fall in love with her. Of course, if I donât
have anyone I truly love and marry, she and I can respect each other as guests for the rest of our
lives.â
Grandma May hummed, âWhat then?â
Evan paused and said, âGrandma, I told you last time that I always dreamed about a girl and I was
entangled with her, and I actually met her in reality.â
Grandma May: âI know.â
Evan smiled and said, âI canât hide anything from you. âGrandma, you even know that I took her things.â
Grandma May: âYou admitted that you took other peopleâs things and didnât return them? Last time, she
went to the company and asked your second brother. She only left after learning that you were not
affiliated with York Corporation.
Not only Grandma May knew about this, but the entire York family did.
Evan did not hide this from his family.
âIf I give it back to her, there will be fewer chances to meet her.â Her whereabouts are erratic, and I
never see her tail. I even suspect that she is Young Master Buchamâs biological sister.â
âJulian has no sisters.â She is not from the Bucham family.â Grandma May must be honest.
Evan asked calmly, âThen which family is she from?â
Grandma May: âI donât know which family she is from. It depends on whether you want to marry her or
not.â
Evan: ââ¦â
His handsome face was a little red.
He lavished praise on Abby, but his expression remained unchanged. Grandma May was sure that he
really didnât love Abby.
He blushed at the mention of the fox.
Grandma Mayâs eyes twinkled, and she blushed, which meant she was really interested.
That was how fun it was.
âGrandma, I donât love Abby, but she seems to want to try dating me.â She said she wants fair
competition. This girl is a bit difficult to deal with. I admit, I prefer the fox. If I really marry the fox,
Grandma, do you still recognize me as your grandson?â
Grandma May said, deliberately, âYou are the one who gets married, and you want to live your whole
life.â You can simply enjoy it. No matter if I like it or not and whether I recognize you as my grandson, it
wonât change the fact that you are my grandson. How many years do I have left? Once I die, I will still
be in the way of any of you. You can do whatever you want.â
âgrandma!â Evan said seriously, âIf I donât get your approval, even if I really like her, I wonât get
married.â
