Raven

“After all the effort I put into getting you two ready,” General Fleu said, sitting before them. “Bend over and spread.”

Raven froze. “Excuse me?”

“I want to see the mess he left inside you.”

A wave of nausea hit her as she stood. She bent over and spread her cheeks. Laro held her gaze, a smirk playing on his lips. The heat in her body surged as his seed began to trickle out.

“Don’t look so pleased with yourself. You finished too quickly and came too much. You’re still so green,” General Fleu commented, his fingers tracing her opening.

She tensed at his touch, biting her lower lip. Laro’s eyes widened momentarily before returning to his usual stoic expression.

“My fingers are dirty. Clean them,” General Fleu ordered, holding his fingers to her mouth.

Raven licked the sweet and salty sticky fluid. He pushed his fingers deep into her mouth, and she nearly choked as he pumped them. Through her teary vision, she saw Laro hardening again.

“Seems your skills aren’t limited to combat,” he remarked, withdrawing his fingers.

General Fleu picked up the cuffs. “You know the price for defying me.”

Laro raised his hands above his head, and General Fleu fastened them to the railing.

While they were preoccupied, Raven sneaked a peek into the bag and rummaged through the contents until she found a set of keys.

She eyed them without touching. One pair looked like Laro’s car keys, but the other was different. It had a symbol etched into it.

She couldn't take it now; everything she needed to duplicate it was downstairs.

“Find something interesting?”

She spun around to find General Fleu looming over her, his hands behind his back. Goosebumps prickled her skin.

“Is this your first time?” she asked, forcing a giggle. “All of this looks like a beginner’s kit.”

“It's all I need, and this,” he said, brandishing the gun.

She clenched her jaw, her stomach churning.

“Pick up the blindfold and put it on.”

Her body felt heavy; flashes of red danced in her vision. She shivered despite the warmth radiating from his body.

~Clank.~

He loaded something into the gun. The sound was deafening. It couldn't be real; gunplay was on her hard limit list. She glanced at Laro, who remained calm. He wouldn't let anything happen to her.

With trembling hands, she tied the blindfold. The darkness reminded her of space. She could hear the crunch of tiny rocks under his boots as he circled her.

“This should be a piece of cake for a pro like you.” His voice had grown gruffer. “For a spy like you, right?”

Raven didn't know what to say, so she stayed silent. He pulled her arms behind her back. A rough material scraped her wrists as they were bound.

He chuckled. “Laro doesn't think you’re capable of planning something elaborate. Me, I think you are, and more.”

“I am, but I like it here, so I've been a good girl.” She forced a smile.

Something cold pressed against her back, sending a shiver up her spine.

“We both know that’s not true.”

Her heart pounded. Did he know? Was this a game?

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Open your mouth,” he ordered.

She felt a slight breeze, then warmth. Raven didn't move.

“Laro, you're up for a placement test, right?”

“Yes.”

“It would be tough with an injured leg. You would fail,” he said.

Laro remained silent. The sound of cuffs scraping the rail echoed.

“Make sure you thank her,” he said, the sound of the cuffs growing louder.

Panic surged through her, making it hard to breathe. She opened her mouth wide and was rewarded with a cold hard barrel crashing into her teeth.

Raven grunted from the pain, but the throbbing between her legs had a mind of its own.

“You’re a lousy spy. How did they even let you off the planet? You crumble over a minor threat like that,” he taunted, pushing it deeper into her throat. “Oh? You’re that kind of girl?”

Raven sucked on the barrel, trying to determine if it was loaded. From the lack of air circulation, she knew it was. An empty barrel would allow air to be sucked in.

Her heartbeat and breathing filled her ears, but she was soaking wet.

“Who would miss you if I blew your brains out right here?” he asked, laughing. “Laro would find another as quickly as he found you.”

The sounds from the bustling street below filled the silence between them. Raven’s heart hammered against her chest. Was she going to die like this? For a guy she just met? Would she see her sister again?

But how could she, standing on the bodies of others?

~No matter the cost.~

The mantra echoed in her mind. The price was different when it was you, but when it was someone else, how could you? She chuckled, but her breathing quickened.

The gun pressed deeper, and she felt his heavy breath on her face. Raven couldn’t stop shaking or the throbbing in her lower half.

A face pressed into hers, and she felt a smile. “Well, do me a favor and—”

She felt the trigger pull.

~Click.~

Her heart plummeted, and she nearly vomited, but at the same time, her panties were soaked. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she gasped for breath.

The blindfold was yanked off, and she found herself staring at General Fleu. He held up the gun and showed her the clip. It was empty. Then he showed her the barrel, which was stuffed with fabric.

“Son of a bitch,” Raven huffed.

Raven waited until they both were asleep. General Fleu had the appetite of a starving man. It was late into the night, and dawn was approaching. ~Now or never.~

He’d left the bag by the couch, she remembered, but it didn’t help as she fumbled for it in the dark. When she touched the rough fabric, she nearly cheered.

Raven dragged it to the window to use the moonlight. She found the keys without trouble. She picked them up just as a heavy hand landed on her shoulder.

“You’re a terrible spy.”
