Today is Sunday and in a couple hours we're going to Shamar's Grandparents house for Sunday dinner. I decided to drive my car there, so if I don't like the feel of it I can leave and don't have to wait on him.

I got dressed in a simple gray one piece bodysuit that had the back out, and I wore my white air maxes. I dressed Terrell in his red and black Shirt and shorts set I got him from Children's place, with his black Adidas.

Once I was done putting on some clear glittery lipgloss and some mascara, I put my black prescription Ray Bans on, and picked Terrell up and grabbed his diaper backpack a.k.a my purse then we headed to the Challenger which I've been driving lately.

Once I made sure he was cool and secured, I hopped in the driver seat and put the address in the navigation, and texted Shamar letting him know we were on our way.

But first I stopped by Safeway and got a couple sodas, and some cookies and ice cream to take there with us, even though Shamar said I didn't need to bring anything.

Thirty minutes later I pulled up to an average suburban house with a long driveway with a few cars parked. All the cars were very nice, and looked to be fresh out the magazine.

Anyways I parked my car and got the  stuff and Terrell out his car seat, and put him in his stroller, and I walked up to the door and put the bags down and then knocked.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

I stepped back and then I heard yelling. The door opened a couple seconds later and a older looking woman that looked to be Asian came to the door.

I was confused as to where I was, I was getting ready to tell her I had the wrong address until Shamar came to the door.

"Hey Rain. Grandma this is Rain."

"Hey baby im Cookie, now get your ass in here we've been waiting for you."

We laughed and Shamar grabbed the bags as his grandma pushed Terrell's stroller into the house.

She stopped by the door and coed over him. Then I took him out, making sure to put the stroller out the walkway. I followed his grandma down the long hallway that was filled with pictures, hanging nicely on each side. When we reached the living room it got quite, and everyone was just looking at me.

"H-Hi everyone."

I said nervously standing there as they continued to stare, as I held Terrell a little tighter to my chest.

"Why are you guys looking at her like that?"

Shamar asked coming from wherever he was. They continued to be quite so I took that as my que to leave.

"Heyyyyy."

They all said at once, while Shamar grabbed ahold of my arm and turned me around, as he whispered in my ear.

"Why'd you buy that shit, and I told you don't bring anything?"

I shrugged my shoulders, and looked at his family as a guy that looked to be in his late thirties got up and made his way towards us.

"Hey my name is Shawn, and I'm Shamar's father."

He said while grabbing my hand right hand and kissed it, when he looked back up I smiled.

"Nice to meet you."

"Likewise, beautiful."

He winked at me, and went and retook his seat on the chocolate colored leather couch.

"Hey shawty my name Devon but you can call me Daddy."

"Boy shut the hell up with that nonsense."

A older but young looking mixed lady said sitting next to him, as she smacked him in the mouth.

Everyone introduced themselves to me and we all got along, except for Shamar's sister, Sherry.

After the men placed the food on the table, we washed our hands and sat down.

Terrell was wide awake and it didn't look like he planned on going to sleep anytime soon. So he sat on my lap, looking at me pick through he food that was cooked, as he drunk his bottle.

"So Shamar how did you meet Rain?"

His grandmother asked.

"In highschool."

His sister rolled her eyes and I took a deep breath because she was starting to get on my nerves, even more.

"What did she do that got you interested in her, besides her beauty?"

"She was a dancer."

"Oh a ballet dancer?"

"Nah but she was on her toes with no clothes, if you know what I mean."

Sherry said outta nowhere, all you heard after that was gasp and utensils dropping.

I shook my head and pushed my chair back, picking Terrell up and heading to the door where our belongings were. I didn't wanna be rude and say something slick, so I decided to be the bigger person as always.

As soon as I put Terrell in the stroller, Shamar and Cookie can up to me and she grabbed my arm.

"Your going to stay here Sherry's just a bitter bitch cause she ain't got no man. And there's nothing wrong with being a stripper baby, cause let me tell you sum."

She walked closer to me and put her lips near my ear as she spoke quietly.

"I ain't get the name Cookie for no reason, and you see this body here was made for entertainment."

She said while moving her hips, and she took me by surprise when she hit the spilts.

"Grandma enough. Get up, before you dislocate your hip."

"Boy shut the hell up, and move so I can get up.

After Shamar helped her up she walked back to the dining room area, and started yelling.

"Look I'm sorry for my sister's actions, she doesn't like when I bring women around, because she doesn't think there good enough or she thinks there out for my money."

I shook me head and looked at him with a slight smirk.

"I don't want your money, and we're nothing serious. We're friends so I don't know why she jumping to conclusions, and then for her to talk about my job like that want cool. How does she even know I was a stripper?"

"Yeah I know. And once again I'm sorry, but please stay. And I don't know honestly."

"No we're going to get going so I wont beat her ass."

He shook his head and laughed while giving me a hug.

"But the least I can do is go back and say bye to everyone."

"Yeah. I'd think they like that."

Shamar took Terrell out his stroller and carried him back to where everyone was, when we got to the dining room I stood in the doorway.

"I came to say bye everyone, and I enjoyed your company."

"We enjoyed your company to sweetie. And sorry for my daughter's behavior."

Shamar's mother Deloris said.

"It's ok."

I looked at everyone and gave them a smile, before grabbing Terrell's whining self out of Shamar's arms.

"I ain't Gon say bye just yet cause I wanna talk to you about when you gon hit the pole and shake some ass for me."

Devon said as he got up out his seat and started walking towards me until their father grabbed him.

"Excuse him baby, he ain't to bright up there."

Shawn said as he stood up still holding onto Devon, as he pulled him to a different room.

Everyone else said bye and apologized for his sister's behavior. I really didn't care, but now I know just to never come back here any time soon.
