Today is Saturday and Devon decided that Terrell and I would chill with him for today and the rest of the weekend, since Shamar was outta town for a case and wouldn't be returning until Monday.
Terrell and I were laying on Devon's bed, watching T.V. while Devon was in his closet looking for something to wear.
"Rain can I ask you something?"
He said coming out of his closet dressed in a burgundy and white Adidas tracksuit with the matching shoes, looking identical to Terrell.
"What's up?"
I turned my head from looking at the T.V. towards him, as he walked to his dresser and sprayed on cologne.
"I need a favor."
"What might that be?"
"I need you to be my girlfriend for the day."
"Why? I'm pretty sure you have one."
"Nah I don't actually. And if I did it would be you."
He said as he mumbled the ending.
"What did you just say?"
"Like I said if I did it would be who?"
"Is there something you wanna tell me? You got some funny business going on?"
"Maybe. Let's get going to the mall. We got some shopping to do."
"Are you going to answer my second question?"
He looked at me for a few seconds before grabbing a sleeping Terrell, and walked out his room to the front door. I followed behind him as we got into his dark blue Mustang.
"Why did you want to spend the weekend with us?"
"Because we need bonding time."
"We bonded yesterday, you know after that incident at school and dinner last night."
"That wasn't enough time, now shut up."
He turned the radio up loud, which made me look in the backseat to see Terrell nodding his head with his eyes closed.
Thirty or so minutes later we pulled up to the mall. We parked right in front in the handicap spot.
"You can't park here. This is for disabled people."
"Shut up."
He reached over my lap to the glove compartment and took out a handicap placard.
"And before you ask yes I did take this from Cookie, she know damn well she ain't disabled. Just because you dance on a pole for five years don't make you special."
I died laughing for a couple seconds and then I stopped once Devon hit my thigh.
"Get out."
I hit him back then we got out the car and made our way into the mall. Terrell sat on Devon's shoulders as we walked through a couple stores.
This went on for about two hours, I swear Devon can shop more then a female. And it made it no better he was getting everything he saw, or Terrell touched.
He even bought stuff that he said would look good on me or I was looking at it, and I learned to not decline what he wanted to buy for us because he would pinch me.
We finally made our way to the food court as we ate our lunch,which was a toasted Italian BLT from Subway.
A medium hight girl with a long ass green weave switched by, causing her weave to hit Devon in the face.
"I can't stand these high class, low income, project hoes, out here with three hundred dollar sew in's smelling like roach spray!"
I laughed as she turned around hella fast and walked back to Devon.
"What the fuck you say nigga?"
"Listen sweety I said-"
"The names Penelope and ain't nothing sweet but this pussy."
I was shocked that came out of her mouth, and she stood there smiling confidently.
"I'm sorry but I wouldn't hit that even if I was blind."
"Stop lying."
"Listen Penelope I'm not a dirty dick nigga, I don't fuck any and everything with a pussy. And further more I don't talk to hoes, so be gone."
She looked at him and scoffed before walking away saying something.
"Nigga wasn't even all that fine anyway."
"Aye Penelope."
She stopped and turned back around, looking at him with a smirk on her face.
"What?"
"If you wanna be my hoe so bad give me your number and we can go from there."
She walked back to the table and put her number in his phone and called herself before walking away.
"What are you going to do with that?"
He started laughing before he looked at me, deciding if he wanted to tell me or not.
"I'll tell you later. But let's finish shopping or do you wanna go back to the house and chill?"
"I ain't tripping."
Terrell climbed onto my lap and grabbed my bag of Spicy Nacho Doritos, and started sucking on them.
"Really T."
He looked up at me innocently as he kept sucking the chips. I shook my head and looked up to see Devon's eyes on me.
"What's up?"
"Nothing."
He looked at me for a couple seconds and shook his head getting up out the chair.
"Omg! Excuse me."
Some petite younger caucasian looking women said as she walked up to our table.
"You guys are so cute, and your baby is just oh my."
"Thanks."
I said looking at her as she was sizing all of us up.
"I'm sorry, please forgive my rude behavior. My name is Sophia Malone and I'm a photographer and I'd love if you guys would model for me."
"What's the catch?"
Devon said before I could even open my mouth.
"Nothing, I'm just starting out and you guys are just so beautiful to me. I'd love to share you guys with the world."
"Welp were in."
"Ok. Here's my business card and give me a call when your ready to model."
"Ight. We'll call next week, but how much we getting paid?"
"It depends."
I continued to sit in my seat quietly as I let Devon do his talking.
"Depends on what? You don't just come at somebody with an offer, with no price."
I finally decided to say something as the lady began to look uncomfortable.
"We'll do it without a fee, right Devon?"
"Shit I don't know about you, but I'm looking to get paid for all this sexyness she wanna share with the world."
I shook my head as he lifted up his shirt revealing his chest, pointing to it.
"See shawty this here is a work of art. Ain't no nigga this fine, and if you wanna share all this with the world it comes with a fee."
"Really Devon?"
"Fine the first time free."
He said as he looked at her and she started smiling showing her perfectly straight white teeth.
"Thank you guys, and please don't forget to call me."
She shook our hands and walked away. Devon looked at me with the same look he's been looking at me all day with.
"Is something wrong you've been looking at me all day?"
He looked at me a couple more seconds, then shook his head and threw the trash away and then picked the bags up.
"Let's go back to the crib and chill, I'm tired."
