I woke up to kisses being planted on both of my cheeks. Once I opened my eyes Terrell and Maloni were both staring at me.
"Good morning."
They both said and continued to look at me as I sat up.
"Good morning babes. What's up?"
"Ewwww your breath, now please get up we have a surprise for you."
IÂ shook my head and got up to do my morning routine. As I was brushing my teeth I began to feel the need to throw up.
As I was finishing up my morning routine I began to feel better, and I began to find my way downstairs to the kitchen.
Once I got there I found all three of them making plates and talking. I stood and watched them for a while until Maloni noticed me.
"Dad she's here now."
Shamar turned around and had a huge smile on his face.
"Morning babe."
"Morning."
"Whats wrong?"
"Nothing now, just a little morning sickness."
He gave me a weird look then walked over to me.
"Are you sure your fine?"
"Yes positive."
He have me a questioning look then kissed me but that got interrupted.
"Ewwww."
"Yucky."
"Oh hush."
"But mommy you lied to me."
"How?"
"You said a boy can't kiss you if he isn't your daddy and mommy I know he isn't your daddy."
After Maloni said that Shamar busted out laughing and tears started coming out his eyes.
"Gurl I'm grown."
"That's not what uncle Devon said, where has he been anyway?"
Terrell said as he began eating his food while sitting on the counter still.
"That's a good question. But let's get ready to eat so we could get our day started."
After we got ready, we were on our way to the zoo. Once we were all ready we got in the car and went to our destination.
Thirty minutes later we arrived at the zoo, and while we were going to the entrance we were met with everyone else.
After greeting each other we went and started walking around. As we were walking, a lady bumped into me not paying attention to where she was walking.
"Excuse me, I'm so sorr- Rain."
"Tiffany?"
"Can I talk to you really quickly?"
"Sure hold on."
I looked over to everyone that was looking at me and told them they could continue on and I'll catch up in a little while.
She found a bench and we sat down on it and she began talking.
"Look I know I haven't been the nicest to you, but I know you are a very smart young lady and I was wondering if you could help me with something."
"Sorry hunny no can do."
"I don't wanna die." I thought in my head as I looked at her facial expression.
"Please I'm begging you, I just really want to see my daughter before I go."
She started to break down in tears and it took everything in me not to join her.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm dying. I can't take living in this situation im in."
"What situation?"
"I'm a bad person and I've been doing alot of things to people and it's time I should just go."
"Whatever you thinking don't do it. You have a purpose in life."
"Whats my purpose? I have no one and I feel useless."
"When you change that feeling then you will have a better out come of things. So what do you want me to do exactly?"
"I need to change my ways then. And I
just want you to talk to my baby daddy as if your the doctor. And tell him it's in his best interest if he had a heart to let my daughter see me. I doubt if I make it to see her birthday."
"Why do you keep thinking your going to die."
"I am."
"Your not, and I'll talk to him only if you change your mind about you dying."
"Ok. I promise."
She gave me a hug and then sat there looking at me with a smile.
"I really appreciate you. I'm sorry for all the things I've done to you and I promise you I regret it every day."
"It's alright no need to dwell on the past. We've gotten past that so now it's time we get past this next obstacle."
"I know and once again thank you."
"Your welcome."
"I'll text you his number later and then whenever you have time we can do it."
"Alright. What are you doing at the zoo?"
"My man and his family are here and he was supposed to spend today with me, so I was just being a detective."
I couldn't hold my laugh in so I began laughing in her face.
"Tiffany if he was your man then you wouldn't have to play detective. And if he's here with his family why are you bothered?"
"See you don't understand."
"I do understand. He's not really your man then. You have to understand that if he was your man, then you wouldn't have to question him or be worried about him cheating."
"Whatever."
"Nah girl don't get mad cause you his nine to five on the weekend."
She starred laughing and then stopped once she seen a guy with a pregnant women and two kids walking in our direction.
"Is that him?"
"Yea."
"You a damn fool that man is married and got two kids and one on the way. He ain't leaving that women and that's a fact. The only time it look like he leaving her is when he out cheating."
She just shook her head and continued to look at them as they passed by us, dude just looked at her and smiled.
"That could never be me." I thought as I looked at the foolery that just took place before my eyes.
"Uhhhhh Tiffany you really need to get your shit together. That's not right with you messing with a married man."
"I know that now by talking to you. If you don't mind can I start talking to you more."
"Fine with me because you need some guidance."
She shook her head in agreement and then we parted our ways. Before I could even get my phone out to call anyone they were all walking up to me.
"You really thought we was gonna leave you alone with her?"
"She's really not that bad anymore."
"Whatever you say. Now let's go see these animals."
