A month later......
"Mommy Mommy get up and look what Santa got us!!"
The kids yelled while crawling on the bed. I opened one of my eyes and seen them smiling, then I looked over to see Shamar smiling as well.
"Alright alright I'm up."
"Yessssss!"
I went and peed which felt like forever and then I did the rest of my morning routine. Once I finished I met them in the living room.
"You guys ready to see what you got?"
"Yesss!"
"Well open them up."
Terrell opened his gift and started turning red. He got up and walked over to me and showed me a piece of paper.
Dear Terrell a.k.a "Bad Ass",
Merry Christmas! I know when your sleeping, and I know when your awake. I know if you been bad or good, and my God you've been bad. So see yah next year buddy.

"Rain why he do me like this?"
"Do what?"
"Leave me this note and coal?"
He brought it to me, and after I read it I started laughing.
"You did it yourself."
"But I've been good I swear I have. From my grades, to my behavior, and to the girls."
I started laughing which made him more mad. He sat on my lap then started crying.
"This is such a tragic. I'm sorry what whatever I've done."
He cried on my shoulder until I started to push him off me.
"The presents with the T on it is yours. That was a good joke wasn't it?"
"Nope."
He wiped his face, then went under the tree and stared getting his presents then unwrapping them.
After thirty minutes they were done and cleaning up the mess they made. I decided to give Shamar his gift then I went back to bed.

"Wake up."
I turned to my side and just stared at Shamar.
"Come on and get up, we have to get ready to go to Cookie's house."
"What time is it?"
"Noon. Now wake up."
I turned to the other side and slowly closed my eyes until I heard Shamar say my name.
"Shut up and give me a hour or two."
"Fine."
I felt him get out of the bed and then I heard him go in the bathroom and turn the shower on.
A couple seconds later I felt the blanket being thrown off me. My eyes flew open and Shamar stood to the side of me with his hand out.
"Your getting up now and the showers ready for you."
I pushed him out the way and then made my way to the bathroom stripping out of my clothes and getting into the warm water.
Thirty minutes later I was out getting dressed. I put on a simple red dress and some black slides, then made my way downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed a whole bunch of snacks throwing them in my purse then I grabbed another bag of chips eating them as I went in the living room.
"Ready?"
"Yea."
"Alright you guys it's time to go."
We all got in the car, and Shamar put everyone else's presents that were under the tree in the trunk. After he was done we were on our way.
Thirty minutes later we pulled up to Cookie's house and as usual there were cars in the driveway.
We each grabbed some of the presents and made our way into the house to be met with some family and new faces.
"Hey everybody."
"Hey."
They all said, I walked into the livingroom putting the presents under the tree and sitting on the couch next to a girl holding a baby.
"Hi who are you?"
"Good and y-"
"That's my baby and baby mama!!!!"
Devin yelled coming from wherever he came from hugging me and then kissed my cheek. Almost knocking my chips out of my hand as he took some.
"Oh ok. What's your names?"
"My baby mama name is Katie the Christan and my baby name is Devon Jr."
"Devon I think she can talk but thank you for letting me know that."
"Whatever I just missed you. Now stand up and give me a real hug."
As I was standing up Devon starting shaking his head.
"Shamar we gotta talk, she was supposed to be having my baby first."
Everyone started laughing. I sat back down and then the devil herself walked through the door with her little minion Ariel.
"Hey everybody."
They both said as they started passing out presents to everyone. When she got to me she tried giving me a hug and a box, and once she seen I wouldn't take it she placed the box on my lap and left me alone.
There was a knock on the door and that's when I seen my father come through, with Mrs. Renee and Tiffany behind him. They greeted everyone then my dad took a seat next to me giving me a bag and a kiss on the cheek.
"Since we're all here now let's open presents then eat."
Cookie said as she went to her tree and started passing out presents. Everyone else exchanged their gifts and then Shamar stood up.
"First off I would like to thank you all for being here to celebrate as a family, and I love you all. "
"I have something to say as well."
Sherry said as she stood up and helped Ariel up as well.
"We are officially girlfriend and girlfriend."
"Sit y'all dumbass down, you to grown to be talking retarted."
"Shut up."
"You shut up and go suck on your girl pu-"
Ms. Daloris hit him in his neck and then he sat there quiet until he spoke again.
"Damn I knew it. She was always gay and I told y'all that when Shamar first introduced us to Rain. She had a crush on her."
I looked at her in surprise and so did everyone else as my father shook his head.
"Devon why is it that you tell everybody business?"
Cookie asked while she shook her head laughing.
"I don't like that bi- girl and it's true. I've always known she liked girls."
Everyone started laughing even more which caused them to get mad, Shamar stood in front on me with a red glittery box, that said "Open Me! .
Once I opened the box my eyes met with the most beautiful little dog i've ever seen. As I took him out the box something shiny hanging from his collar caught my attention.
Once I finally seen what it was I looked up to see Shamar on his knee infront of me.
"For years this scene I tried to flee, then it was clear when I met you we were met to be. I ask you to take a journey with me. I feel our hearts are as close as can be. The heart in you is the heart in me, and everytime I look at you my heart skips a beat. I want to continue to share our lives, and build our family tree. To live together in harmony, I'm down on my knee, hoping you'd say yes to Marrying me?"
I looked at him as tears started coming out my eyes as I was about to answer his father came stumbling through the door covered in blood.
