"Rain Alexander."
I stood up and grabbed the kids hands and followed the nurse to the back. Once we made it to the room I sat them down in the chair and then I sat down.
"How are you doing today?"
"Good and you?"
I smiled at her even though I was still upset about the Shamar situation.
"Great. Hey guys."
She waved over at the kids who returned the gesture.
"You have some beautiful children."
"Thank you."
After she finished doing what she had to do she left, and a couple minutes later the doctor came in.
"Hello Ms. Alexander."
"Hello Mr. Jenkins."
"How are you feeling?"
"Good, and you?"
"Great, so are you ready to figure out what your having?"
"Yessssss."
Terrell and Maloni said giggling before I could even reply.
"Alright. Where's the man of the house?"
"He-"
Just then he came through the door, actually looking presentable, but once he passed me I still smelled a little alcohol.
"Hey doc, what I miss?"
"Nothing sir I was just about to start."
He nodded his head then took a seat next to the kids while waiting for the next move.
"Alright lift your shirt up so we can see what your beautful blessing is going to be."
I did as told and he squeezed some gel on my stomach and then turned the lights off. He started rubbing my stomach in a circular motion and then stopped at the baby.
"Well it's a boy."
I couldn't help but to smile as a few tears fell, I continued to watch the screen until he came across what looked to be another baby.
"Ms.Alexander?"
"Yes."
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"Your having twins my dear and there both boys."
"Yessssss."
Terrell screamed loudly with a big smile on his face.
"Awwww man that mean I won't have anybody to play Barbie dolls with."
"You still have me."
"But your going to be busy with the babies."
"No I'm not."
"Promise?"
She asked getting up and walking over to me with her pinky out strectched.
"Promise."
I looped my pinky with hers then kissed her forehead. She smiled at me then returned to the chair that her and Terrell were sharing.
"Ok so I'll go get the pictures and stuff and you'll be ready to go."
The doctor said turning on the light, and handing me napkins to wipe the gel off with.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome."
He said gathering his supplies up and then walking out the door.
"Thank you."
I heard Shamar say as I looked at him with a big smile on his face so I returned the gesture with a small smile.
"Here you are, and I hope you have a good rest of your day."
"Thank you and same to you Mr.Jenkins."
He smiled and then waved at the kids and walked out the room. I got down and adjusted my clothes and then grabbed my purse and told the kids to come on ignoring Shamar's presence.
We walked out the room and out to the elevator. Once we got out the elevator we made our way towards the car.
"Rain!"
Shamar yelled from behind me.
"What?"
I asked while unlocking the car for the kids and then turing around to face him.
"I'm sorry ok. I didn't mean it and if I could I would take it back."
I just looked at him, I didn't have anything to say to him at the moment. I turned around to open the car door when I felt him tug on my elbow.
"What now?"
I asked with my back still facing him, looking at him through the reflection on the window.
"I need your help, ok I've never dealt with anything like this and so all I'm asking for is guidance."
I turned around and faced him.
"Shamar that's all I've been trying to do is help. You've been pushing me away and im tried of trying but I won't give up on you, because I love you."
"I know and I thank you for that, and now I'm apologizing because when you left out the door I had a feeling you wouldn't come back through it."
"I would never leave you, so I don't know why you would feel that way. I'm here to stay no matter what happens I'll always be here."
He nodded in a understanding manner before giving me a kiss.
"Look we need to get out this parking garage, so how about we go over to Cookie's house and check on everyone."
I suggested remembering that I probably need to go over there and cook something.
"Ok."
"First I'm going to stop and get something to eat, so then we'll head that way."
"Ok."
He gave me a big hug and then backed up, looking my body over with a smile on his face.
"I love you."
"I love you to."
He watched as I got in the car and then he walked over to his as I began to back out and head down the ramp.

I walked into Cookie's house and everything was in place and all you heard was the voices from the T.V.
"Hey babes"
"Hey Rain."
Devon and Cookie said as the sat on the couch watching Tyler Perry's The Have And The Have Nots.
"Did you guys eat today?"
"Nope."
"Are you guys hungry."
"Not really."
Cookie and Devon said in unison.
"Ok well I'mma cook yall something and when it's done I'll make sure you guys eat all that's on your plate."
"Gurl stop tryna act like somebody mama."
Devon said.
"I'm just being considerate. I've felt what it's like to lose a parent so you're not alone."
Devon have me a weak smile while Cookie got up and gave me a hug.
"Baby I appreciate you so much like words can't even explain my love for you."
"Thank you and I love you too. Also I have surprising news."
"What is it?"
Cookie said while returning to get support on the couch, while I decided to sit on the other one by Shamar.
"It's about the baby."
I pulled the pictures out my purse and before I could even explain them Devon snatched them out my hand and went back to his seat.
"Oh my God. This a big a baby."
"Let me see."
Cookie said snatching the picture or his hand.
"Boy this isn't one baby this is two boys?"
"Yep."
Shamar and I said in unison.
"Word?"
He said examining the picture and a small grew on his face.
"Man Shamar how you feel?"
"Man it feels great. And I almost missed out on getting to hear the news first hand because of my actions."
"I don't even wanna know what you did, all I wanna know is are y'all on good terms as of now?"
Cookie asked looking between me and Shamar.
"Yea we good."
"Good I thought I was gonna have to beat his ass for you."
We all laughed and stopped once the kids ran into the livingroom.
"Uncle Devon, Katie the Christan said come here."
We started laughing again and then I got up and went into the kitchen to start cooking the food. Thirty minutes into cooking I hear someone come in the kitchen.
"Hey Rain."
"Hey boo."
I turned around and have Katie a smile.
"What you cooking?"
She asked walking up on the side of me not getting to close, since Devon Jr on her hip.
"Home-made lasagna and some garlic bread and a salad on the side."
"That sounds really good. But um when your done can I talk to you?"
Katie asked and it sounded like it was important.
"Sure thing give me a few minutes and I'll be with you."
"Ok. I'll be waiting for you in the game room."
"Ok."
She turned and walked out of the kitchen, and I returned back to cooking the food.
