Jack tried to pay attention the the class, but he couldn't sleep an ounce last night. He wondered what it's going on, the dreams felt so real, like they happened, but he was sure him and Casper weren't a couple.
He approached Casper with the intention to make him suffer to avenge his father who's been killed by Casper's father. Along their relationships, Jack fell in love with Casper who was to kind and nice and Jack couldn't bare to carry on with his plan.
But somehow Casper discovered the truth and ran away from home. Jack tried to find him, but it was too late. A crazy killer planted a bomb in a subway and killed 90 people, one of them being Casper.
âIf somehow that's true... and it happened then what's going on? How are we at the beginning? âJack wondered tired.
The bell rang and he saw Casper packing his stuff to leave.
âWait a moment! âJack said grabbing Casper's hand.
Casper looked at Jack frowning.
âI keep having these weird dreams... don't laugh, but I think we had a relationship. I mean in the past, but something happened and you died and now we are back in time somehow. âJack explained gesturing with his hands.
Casper looked at him silent.
âYou think I'm crazy? âJack asked hopeless.
âNo. âCasper replied.
âThen, you believe me? âJack asked hopeful.
âYes. But it's better to forget that. âCasper said.
âWhat? Why? I mean I get it...listen, I love you, Casper. Before, then and now, I can't get you out of my mind. âJack explained grabbing Casper's shoulders.
âI don't love you, Jack. Let me go now, Sam is waiting for me. âCasper said brushing Jack's hands off.
âPlease... I know I was wrong, but I changed my mind. Back then, I decided to drop my revenge because I fell in love with you, when you ran away, I searched for you without a break. It was already too late.âJack said remembering how horrible he felt when Casper ran away and died because of him.
âLook, it was what it was. I don't hate you, but I don't want anything with you. Goodbye now. âCasper said taking his backpack and leaving.
Jack stubbornly followed him in the hallways.
âWhat abut me? What am I supposed to do? We were happy together... give me another chance. âJack asked with despair in his voice.
Casper sighed.
âJack, I love Sam, do you understand? There is nothing between us anymore. âCasper said walking faster.
Jack stood behind clenching his fists in frustration. If he told Casper the truth and apologized back then, would they be still happy together?
Jack had a realization at that moment.
âHow did Casper find out about my plan to break his heart as revenge for what his father had done? âJack mumbled trying to remember, but he never had the chance to ask Casper how he found out.
Jack ran outside trying to catch up with Casper.
âCan you leave me alone already? âCasper raised his voice.
âHow... how did you found out... about my revenge plan? âJack asked out of breath.
âI received a message with a voice recording that had your voice in it and you were taking about your plan with someone else. âCasper said getting irritated by the memory.
âWho sent it to you? â
âI don't know. âCasper shrugged his shoulders and left.
Jack began to think. The only person who knew about this is his best friend, Alex, who's the drummer of their band. But he wouldn't do something like that, besided, Alex also knew that Jack fell in love with Casper and planned on dropping the revenge idea.
So who was it? That recorded him and sent it to Casper? Who would want to make Jack suffer.
A name popped in Jack's mind:Sam.
âIt must be him... he always looked weird at me and got his eyes on Casper since then. That bastard! âJack said getting furious.

âHow was your day? âSam asked kissing Casper.
âAs usual, besides Jack bothering me. âCasper complained.
âWhat did he wanted from you? âSam asked holding Casper's hand.
Casper nearly told Sam about the past and how time went back and how we was with Jack, but luckily stopped before he could say anything.
âCasper? âSam asked worried.
âNothing much, he kept saying he likes me even if I rejected him. âCasper said.
âOh? How rude of him, he knows you're my boyfriend. âSam said.
âI know, right?âCasper agreed and puffed his cheeks.
âLet's not think about him, it's not worth it. Where are we going today? âSam asked smiling.
âI was thinking we could just watch a movie and eat some pizza at my apartment. âCasper suggested.
âSure, let's head there. âSam said and they begin to walk.

Zhia Xiang was reading a book in the living room when Casper and Sam entered.
âZhi-Charlotte, I hope you won't mind us. We'll be in my room.âCasper said taking his shoes off.
âHi Charl!âSam saluted Zhia Xiang and took his shoes off as well.
âDon't be too loud.âZhia Xiang said implying they'll do it.
âCousin! We are going to watch a movie and order a pizza!âCasper shouted embarrassed.
Zhia Xiang laughed and watched the blushing guy rushed to his room followed by the purple haired Sam.
Zhia Xiang still felt off looking at Sam, something about him tingle her senses.
Suddenly she heard the door bell.
âWho the hell could it be. âShe wondered and rushed to look through the peephole.
She smaked her lips annoyed and opened the door exiting in the hall and closing the door behind her.
âWhat do you want? âZhia Xiang asked.
âIs Sam here? âJack asked impatient.
âWhy are you asking? â
âI have something to settle with him. âJack said angrily.
Zhia Xiang looked at Jack confused.
âI can't let you in, Casper will be mad at me. â she said.
âPlease, there is something I need to confirm with that idiot. â
âWhat? âZhia Xiang asked.
âYou wouldn't understand. âJack said.
âIs it about your past with Casper? â Zhia Xiang asked.
Jack widened his eyes surprised.
âYou also know? How? â
âThat's a secret. Tell me what you have to settle with Sam. â
Jack sighed and told her about his theory.
âOh, how intriguing. So Sam was the one who told Casper... âZhia Xiang thought and looked at agent 0.
âIs there a chance that Sam turned back time? So he can be with Casper? â she asked the robotic cat.
âThat should be impossible but thinking about Casper's case... âagent 0 replied unsure.
âI see, so that's how it is.â Zhia Xiang said crossing her arms at in front of her chest.
âWhat is it? You fell silent all of the sudden. âJack asked snapping his fingers in front of Zhia Xiang.
A guy that held a pizza box walked to them.
âI have an order for apartment 400, do you two live in it? âthe pizza guy asked.
Then the door opened revealing Sam with money in his hand.
âI ordered the pizza. Here. âSam said taking the box and giving the money.
âYou bastard! You sent that voice mail, didn't you? âJack asked and grabbed Sam's collar.
Zhia Xiang took the pizza box and stepped back.
âJack,I thought I already told you to leave my boyfriend alone. âSam said.
âHow ironic, I used to tell you that. âJack said laughing angrily.
âThe one who laughs at the end, laughs better. âSam said smiling.
Jack got angrier and punched Sam in the face. Sam hit the door with his back with a loud thud.
âDon't break the door, idiots. âZhia Xiang said.
âApologies, Charl. âSam said still smiling and grabbed Jack by the collar with a bleeding nose.
Casper was wondering why Sam is taking so long so he rushed in the hall only to see Sam blood running down his neck holding Jack by the collar.
âWhat's going on here? âCasper asked angry.
âNothing important, babe. Just getting this idiot to leave. âSam said freeing Jack.
âYou're bleeding! âCasper said worried and cupped Sam's face to look at his nose.
âI'm alright, don't worry. âSam said smiling.
âYou did this! âCasper raised his voice pointing at Jack.
âCasper, listen. He is the one who sent you that voice reordering, but he cut a part of it. The part in which I told Alex in fell in love with you and I gave up on my plan. âJack said.
Zhia Xiang sat back and observed the drama.
âWhat? âCasper asked puzzled.
Jack was actually in love with him back then? And he gave up of his plan? So Casper ran away and suffered for nothing?
âYou're lying... you must be. âCasper said looking at Jack.
âI am not. I swear, I really fell in love, you are so cute and kind and innocent that I couldn't bare to hurt you because of your father. â
Casper shook his head in denial. Does Jack really means what he's saying?
Sam, who looked in silence gave Jack death glares. Zhia Xiang saw the look in Sam's eyes and confirmed that he really is behind this.
âIs there a way to verify if Jack is telling the truth? âZhia Xiang asked agent 0.
âUse your skill. âagent 0 said.
âOh, right, that. âZhia Xiang said and got her journal out, writing something in it.
âJack, is it true that you fell in love with Casper back then? âShe then asked walking to the three.
âYes!âJack replied without hesitation.
Seeing that nothing happened she asked the next question.
âIs it true that you gave up on your revenge? â
âYes! â
Seeing that nothing is happening, she turned to Casper.
âHe isn't lying. â
Casper looked at Zhia Xiang stunned. He believed her, she wouldn't lie to him to take Jack's side.
Zhia Xiang felt Sam's piercing gaze.
âSo you really... then I ran away and died... but you still lied to me! âCasper said in shock.
âI know and I'm sorry. I planned on telling you the truth someday, I just wanted to be happy with you and leave my hatred behind. â Jack said honest.
Casper had tears running down his face. Sam pulled him in his arms.
âYou realize you're the reason Casper died back then, right? âZhia Xiang asked looking at Sam.
Sam stood silent.
âWhat do you mean? âCasper asked pulling away.
âHe purposefully sent you the cut out audio to make you hate Jack and because of that you ran away and died. â she explained.
Sam clenched his teeth.
âDo you mean... Sam remembers the past as well? But why... I don't remember having anything to do with him in the past. âCasper said.
âHe liked you. âJack said giving Sam a angry glare.
Casper looked at Sam who kept smiling.
âSam... did you purposefully sent that part of their conversation to make me hate Jack? â Casper asked.
Sam sighed defeated.
âYes. â
Casper looked at him disappointed.
âI did it because I liked you. And I knew Jack's plan to hurt you so I couldn't stand it. âSam explained.
âBut you knew that I dropped that idea! âJack shouted.
âDoes it matter? You lied to him for months, he deserved to know. âSam shouted back.
âI would have told him myself! âJack said grabbing Sam by the collar.
Casper felt like a puppet playet by the two men he trusted.
Zhia Xiang sighed and hugged Casper.
âI can delete your memories about them if you want to forget everything. âZhia Xiang said rubbing his back.
Casper looked at her with cheeks stained with tears.
âYou... can? âCasper asked.
âCasper, don't... I love you. Understand me, please. âSam said.
âI do understand that you thought abut me... but you hid a part of the truth... âCasper said.
Zhia Xiang scoffed.
âYou really did that for Casper? â She asked looking at Sam.
âOf course. âSam replied.
âI think you just did out of jealousy. To teach Jack a lesson, but you caused Casper's sadness and death. If you really cared about him, you would have done it differently. You just wanted Casper for yourself without thinking about his feelings. âZhia Xiang said.
Sam looked at Casper and bit his lip until it was bleeding.
Casper felt used. First Jack and now Sam? Was he that unlucky?
âI love him. That is true. I did all of this to be with him. âSam said looking at the hurt Casper.
âYou just ruined our happiness and took him away from me. You're nothing but a loser. âJack said.
âBoth of you, leave. âCasper said in a raspy voice.
âCas, babe. I just want to make you happy. âSam said touching Casper's cheek.
âBy lying to me? Do you know how hurt I felt after I heard the voice recording? Do you know how scared I felt when I knew I was going to die in that bomb attack?! You don't! You just cared if I hate Jack so you can come and take his place! âCasper shouted pointing fingers at the two heartbroken.
Why is everyone toying with him like this?
The two looked at the ground ashamed.
Zhia Xiang hugged Casper again calming him down.
âLet's get inside. â she said she opened the door.
âForgive me. âSam said clinging onto Casper.
âLeave. âCasper said and closed the door in front of the two.
After, he cried in Zhia Xiang arms until he couldn't cry anymore. Zhia Xiang did her best to comfort him.
âYou really can make me forget about them? âCasper said.
âI can. Also... I have to leave soon, I've been here for too long. â
Casper smiled sadly.
âI understand. I'm grateful for everything, Zhia Xiang. â
âPromise me you'll live a happy life. I will find a way to visit you one day and I would like to see you happy. âZhia Xiang said cupping his face.
âAlright, I promise. I will become a popular painter and maybe live in a cottage with some pets... âCasper said dreaming about his ideal life.
âAnything you do, I'm proud of you. Do you want me to delete your memory about the two? â
Casper shook his head.
âI'll learn from this and I will move on. Thank you for taking care of me this whole time, I consider you as a big sister. â
Zhia Xiang felt tears form in her eyes. She ruffled his hair smiling.
âAnd you're my little brother. Good luck with everything, Casper. Take care. â Zhia Xiang said and the bright light began to surround her.
âSee you later. âCasper said with his bright, heart melting smile.
Zhia Xiang waved and smiled back. Then she was in front of the usual screen.
âI'll miss that kid. â she said smiling.
