game.
He smiled at her. âGrandma has something to tell you. Itâs your turn.â
She nodded and walked into the room, closing the door behind her.
âGrandma.â She said on her bed and took her hand. âHas Damien told you everything? Iâll be fine.
Looking at how careful Cherise was, Mary sighed. âHeâs a good guy. Itâs just that revenge clouded his
eyes.â With that, she looked deeply at Cherise. âCherry, youâre a good girl who listens to what I say,
right?â
âOf course.â Cherise nodded.
As long as Grandma stays calm, Iâll listen to everything she
says.
âHave a child with Damien.â Mary looked at Cheriseâs beautiful face. âHeâs not young anymore, and his
health isnât that great either. Itâs good to have kids soon. Perhaps he will be softened with the arrival of
little children.â
Cherise blushed and bit her lips after hearing that. âGrandma⦠Got it. Iâll try my
best.â
Mary laughed at her earnest attitude. She lightly poked Cheriseâs temples and teased, âYouâre not
taking final exams here. Try your best for what? What I mean is just take it easy and do whatever you
need to do with him. After that, just let nature take its course.â
Cherise nodded with a reddened face. âOkay.â
âHave you guys done it already?â Mary asked in a hushed voice after seeing how shy she had become.
âW-Weâve kissedâ¦â she replied in a small voice.
Since she first married Damien, Sarah reminded her to get the deed done on the first night so she
could quickly bear him a child.
However, she was troubled with many issues that night, and Damien often slept in the study. Slowly,
the topic had been brushed aside.
Now that Mary brought it up again, she suddenly recalled that they hadnât consummated their marriage.

âCherise, since you have already decided to spend the rest of your life with him, itâs better to have kids
soon.â
Those were the last words from Mary before they parted.
After returning to Adania, Cherise asked Lucy out for a coffee. âIf I want to sleep with Damien tonight,
what should I prepare?â
Lucy spat out the coffee. âSis, since when have you become so direct?â
âI promised Old Mr. Lenoir that he would get grandkids in two years. I donât have much. time left since
the pregnancy would take nine months.â
Lucy giggled uncontrollably. âJesus! I never expect you to take the lead on this.â
Cherise discussed the topic as though they were talking about an academic question. âOn our first
night, he just kissed me. Could it be that Iâm not attractive enough?â
Lucy looked her up and down-a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans. âYouâre quite plain. indeed. But wait,
your husband is blind. No matter how attractive you are, he canât tell anyway.â
Cherise suddenly realized this problem. âWhat should I do, then?â
âTry starting in a romantic atmosphere,â Lucy proposed after giving it some thought. âThey say people
get aroused more easily under certain circumstances. Would you like to try?â
âFor example?â Cherise asked with a frown.
